@thebrainiak pretty much the same way in ice except theres the possibility of some give when stopping. the inline wheels are soft and thus create great friction when throwing your leg out to stop. without the soft wheels you can still stop but most likely will slide about a foot lol

i play roller hockey in hawaii only because theres no ice rink here.

i had played ice hockey for 10 years and played double a and played for my highschool but i moved and now all i have is roller hockey, which is still really fun, but no hitting! :(

@jecb9 i played ice hockey in college for two years...fucked up my knee and took up roller hockey bc it's less of a strain on my knee and there's no hitting...but it's definitely not just a hobby for people you can't play ice

@jecb9 you kno thomas plekanec plays inline in the summer to keep stamina? its faster paced than ice due to the no offsides its the same thing as ice hockey minus the maneuverability... dangles on inline skates are much harder than on ice.. I would kno i play both
