Without a doubt, the Isaac Richardson Indian Red Junglefowl Strain is the purest bloodline in the U.S. They are found amongst breeders throughout the U.S. and especially within the Georgia Game Bird Society members.
@AIphaKong im realy curious about what kind of hybrid vigor comes from breeding domestic chickens back to jungle fowl. i know fighting breeds have been bred back but what comes of breeding jungle fowl to meat and egg production breeds?
When you mix red junglefowls with domestic chickens, the offspring's' flight capability immensely increases. The overall athletic ability is drastically improved. Downfalls, however, may include a decrease in size, thinner bodies, and slightly lower immune resistances.
No, I did not bring any of these birds into the U.S. There is a halt to any importation of birds into the U.S.
These birds are bought and raised only in Laos. My good friend frequents Laos for business reasons and records these videos for me. When he finds a quality bird he does tell me about it and sometimes he and I purchase it so his relatives can raise it and send us recordings and photographs.
