Mum and Dad used to let me play their 45s on my record player when I was 10 (31 years ago), still playing the old rock 'n'roll on a regular basis. Who needs the modern rubbish, when there is such a back catalogue like this still to be hearded. fantastic.

I run a Disco, exclusively for older folks, and you know what I'm going to say ... that's right, when this single from Del is playing, all who are able are on their feet, dancing the best they can, and smiling. It's just one of those tunes that everybody knows and just can't resist jiggin' to. Don't forget when we're all gone the music will still be there, and while it is this world will be still be a place to live in. So dance on, brothers and sisters, open the windows and let the music out!!!

In my teen years he was the best. His music, lyrics and delivery was in a class of his own. Now he's gone, I realise what a sad loss he is to the world of music and to those who thought so much of him. Very tragic loss. God bless him.
