@cYberNiNja08 According to the Book of Revelation, all those whose names were not found written in the book of life were thrown into the lake of fire, which is the second death, but not the end of the story according to the verses in my video. I believe that God must use the lake of fire to bring about a "death to self" for those who have not surrendered to God. I believe that in surrendering, repenting and believing they will too be reconciled.
The Bible does not teach eternal punishment. God's love & mercy endures forever. Does it really endure forever or only in this life? How can it be Good News if it doesn't translate to the afterlife? He's a better Father than we are, right? He will still judge but He won't write people off forever.
1 Timothy 4:10- This is why we work hard and continue to struggle, for our hope is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and particularly of all believers.
The Lord Jesus shall shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking VENGEANCE ON THEM THAT KNOW NOT GOD, AND THAT OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST: WHO SHALL BE PUNISHED WITH EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD, AND FROM THE GLORY OF HIS POWER!! 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9.
If my tax collector don't burn in hell for eternity, there is no way I could convert ! My apologizes for this debate interruption ( but hey : he really deserves it! ).
@MustaffaCuppa The point would be to save the people on Earth, wouldn't it? Without him doing it, there would be no solution for people, right? So because he is who he is, he wanted to save people on this planet. How is what he did related to whether the hell is eternal? It is not related at all. If he didn't do what he did, there would be no chance for people at all.
It does show that EVERYTHING is opened to humans' interpretation.
God forgives all but DOES NOT FORGET.
By making the effort to follow the LIGHT - doing good around you - Helping others -showing Love - Compassion & staying positive one cannot get it wrong no matter the religion - God is in each of us - except those who sold their soul as they no longer belong to God & they are lost for eternity.
Your heart is your church! Learnt to be tolerant and stop fighting over written words.
Hell is real and there is no denying it. I do not know Greek nor Hebrew but I do know that there is punishment for sin. If the righteous are given eternal peace and life then the wicked are to death and eternal damnation. The scriptures even say it never ceases, not just eternal or not but never ending. Anyhow, hell is the worse place ever.
The NIV Bible is satanic abomination, it's not even a Bible. And that's from a Christian Universalist. The NIV call both Jesus and Satan the Morning Star. Satan is not the Morning Star, he's the son of the morning. Those who translated the NIV obviously are satanists because they clearly insinuate that Jesus and Satan are one and the same being. That's a pertversion of the Holy Trinity. And they removed "deliever us from evil" from the Lord's prayer. That satanic thing is not a Bible...
@1Thess521 thank you fort the invite but it is obvious that you are delusional and a hateful person. The bile-ball is a murderous disgusting and delusional book. You need to get off your knees and get to work. We have real problems here in earth like poverty, suffering, and overzelous religion. Your motives are hateful not helpful.
This is making me mad. You want to convey your message on here, yet we have to wait for our comment's approval? You're wrong, and you need help. You have been blinded by what is false, and you have been affected by Satan himself.
Hey Christians, how can any of you be totally sure you're free of sin? How can any of you be sure your soul isn't going to die in Hell after death? Sorry but I find your religion most terrifying. I think you're expecting an unrealistic perfection from people. Or worse, a perfection nobody knows, but God. Worse of all; since salvation is not guaranteed for anyone, someone could become a truly evil person, because if he's/she's gonna die anyway... No intention to offend, but to learn.
Let me answer this as simply as possible...Jesus, God's son, and himself, went down on the cross so that we may live enternally in him. He died, so that our sins could be atoned for, and that he would come to live in us, revealing the fruits of the spirit, (patience, love, kindness, compasion, ect) which is of God. It says in the bible, the only way through the kingdom of Hevean is through Jesus Christ, our savior. It assures us, if we love God, and accept that he died, we live.
@agormanvideos There is night & there is day, there is good there is evil. Like gravity, no one can deny that fact. There is also a heaven and a hell. Long time ago God maid a massive mess up, His so called 'perfect' creation had a 2 Flaws. The very thing he created rebelled twice. He did not deal with the first rebellion properly, which lead to the second. (cont)
@agormanvideos (cont) It clearly states in Ezekiel that one can loose his salvation. Bottom line, whatever happened to the children of Israel in the wilderness, can happen to today's 'Christian'. Most 'Christians' are ignorant of this fact & loads die. Thousands, in-fact died in the wilderness. God wanted to destroy them all at one stage. Even Moses never maid it to the promised land (and he was most meek next Christ himself) He was left to rot in the wildness for touching Gods Glory! .
@agormanvideos (Cont) & Paul stated, 'I run the race''. The reality is, a Christian must first run the race to receive the 'full-prize.' Read Romans, here he states, ''O wretched man that I am, What i 'should do, I don't & what i shouldn't, I do. Who can help me? Then Paul makes reference to Christ. (cont).
@agormanvideos (cont) A Christian is only saved by grace, 'justified by 'faith'... ''sanctified'' by 'Christ' & made 'righteous' through ''obedience' - but, not ''home safe'' till he crosses the ''finish-line''. The ignorance of this reality is how most of them die! God's people Perish for a lack of knowledge. As soon as a Christian disobeys a direct order from God, is is considered an act of 'rebellion' & they must repent. The scars of sin will also show. hope that answers you 'question'.
It says in the Bible, that he will punish those who turn from his way, and indulge in wickedness. They are one of the most corrupt nations alive. Which is why this is happening. He loves his children, of course, but he will not bless a country that has turned it's back on his father. I know it may sound out, but this is their punishment. But God loves everyone of us.
If there is a curse that caused re-connection between people and God impossible, then something had to happen so that the re-connection could take place. God did something so people could re-connect with God. That has nothing to do with hell at all. How does existence of eternal hell have anything to do with God willing to make the re-connetion possible? He couldn't do it without existence of eternal hell? Therefore a question "Why would Jesus die when there is no eternal hell?" makes no sense.
Whoever you are that made this video, should really examine yourself because you are treading on dangerous ground. God takes very seriously the corruption of truth, and we as pastors, teachers, prophets and evangelists are going to be held accountable for how we led others while we were in this world. See 2 Peter 2:1-3
If all man will go to heaven Jesus died for no reason. Luke 16:19 starts a parable with a man named Lazarus being in hell begging for water to cool his tongue. God is JUST by condemning man to hell and to burn eternally. We are sinners and have broken the laws of God. Romans 3:20 says we are all un righteous, God is HOLY and MUST punish the sinner
Eternal punishment simply means final death. This is the 2nd death as mentioned in the book of Revelation when a person s thrown into the lake of fire. Common sense will tell us that a loving God will not create and torture somenone eternally knowing before hand that he will not believe and obey Him.
God is omniscient. He knows everything from the beginning to the end.
Eternal punishment does not mean eternal punishing, but final death with no more chance to live again.
This is a complete deception, many people have experienced hell in near death experiences. Jesus himself contantly preached about hell. Be careful; when you start teaching your own ideas that do not line up with Gods word, or to twist God word. Then you ARE truly in danger of the fires of hell.
This is false: "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works... And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." ~ Revelation 20
Be not deceived saints! Read the Word of God! 1 Peter 5:8 ~ 1 John 4:1 ~ Look these verses up! God forbid we not believe His Word!
Actually your wrong. Hell is eternity. There are parts of the Bible that says you go into the pits and suffer there eternity. Your soul never ever dies and you stay in there forever. Heaven is a place where you get whatever you want. And you also stay there forever and ever. The answers are in the Bible.
I Believe there Is a hell but My own theory hell does Not last forever after The Church defeats satan the devil they lose The Legal Right to reject Righteousness & are Transformed Into Righteousness but they may forever lose Reward.
What happens when you die? Have you told lies, stolen, used God's name in vain(10 Commandments)? If yes, then you're a liar, thief, and a blasphemer in the sight of God. When you die & be judged by God, you'll be guilty of sin, & go to Hell! But God sent His Son Jesus to shed His blood & die on a cross for your sins, He was buried & rose again from the dead on the third day. If you'll believe the Gospel(Jesus died for your sins, was buried & resurrected)you'll not perish & have eternal life
41) THEN HE WILL ALSO SAY TO THOSE ON THE LEFT HAND, ‘DEPART FROM ME, YOU CURSED, INTO THE EVERLASTING FIRE PREPARED FOR THE DEVILS AND HIS ANGELS: It doesn’t matter how you Translate EVERLASTING in the Greek / Hebrew JESUS WILL SAY “DEPART FROM ME - YOU CURSED!” The WORDS that come from the mouth of Jesus are true, they are eternal if He calls sinners, cursed and separates Himself…then it really doesn’t matter where they are sent, they won’t be in the Kingdom of Heaven with the KING OF KINGS!
{MATTHEW 25:31-41} WHEN THE SON OF MAN COMES IN HIS GLORY, AND ALL THE HOLY ANGELS WITH HIM, THEN HE WILL SIT ON THE THRONE OF HIS GLORY. ALL NATIONS WILL BE GATHERED BEFORE HIM, AND HE WILL SEPARATE THEM ONE FROM ANOTHER, AS A SHEPHERD DIVIDES HIS SHEEP FROM HIS GOATS. AND HE WILL SET HIS SHEEP ON HIS RIGHT HAND, BUT THE GOATS ON THE LEFT. THEN THE KING WILL SAY TO THOSE ON HIS RIGHT HAND, ‘COME, YOU BLESSED OF MY FATHER, INHERIT THE KINGDOM PREPARED FOR YOU FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD:
1) Hell was made for the devil and his angels…NOT FOR MAN…NEITHER WAS SIN MADE FOR MANKIND…YET, THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH AND THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH CHRIST JESUS! SO GOD WILL NEVER SEND ANYONE ANYWHERE…THE CHOICE IS UP TO EACH INDIVIDUAL, WHERE YOU GO IS UP TO YOU! JUST AS A JUDGE DOESN’T SEND ANYONE TO PRISON, THE ACT OF THE PERSON DOES…THE JUDGE ONLY GIVES THE SENTENCE FOR THE CASE. MEANING “YOU” ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS…YOU REAP WHAT YOU SO...
i am sorry but you are wrong this is not true. Would you want to be with those people who deny you and do not love you ...no you would want to be seperated from them. So if you do not belive that jesus christ died on the cross for your sins then you will not be able to live with the one you do not belive in you will go to hell!
God doesn't condemn anyone to Hell. Rather it is those who are 'condemned' who alienate themselves from God who chose to go to Hell themselves through their own free choice.
"God doesn't condemn anyone to Hell. Rather it is those who are 'condemned' who alienate themselves from God who chose to go to Hell themselves through their own free choice."
1) Who created free will?
2) Who created hell?
3) Who created the system which punishes the biblical god's supposed creations for using the free will he supposedly gave them?
4) Who makes the decision to send each person to hell regardless of that person's wishes NOT to go to hell?
@1Thess521 You completely ignored the verses I gave you. Hell is real. Want proof? Here
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
@MlpforeverMlp I'm not saying that Jesus spoke Greek but the earliest gospel texts we have are written in Greek, and those contain finite terms in reference to the duration of God's punishment of the wicked.
@1Thess521 People go to hell for eternity. If it was not so Jesus would have said so. You say ~And I quote~ The words "everlasting" and "eternal" are not accurate translations of the Greek source text.
Jesus would have let us known if hell was not fer eternity. He would have said so. It says no where in the bible about Jesus letting the people in hell free.
@MlpforeverMlp Why would Jesus have said that God's punishment was not eternal if nobody believed that it was in the first place? The words in the source texts that are translated as "everlasting", etc. are finite terms. If Jesus was using finite terms (in Aramaic) to refer to God's punishment, why would he then have to explain that God's punishment wasn't infinite? Please notice how the verses in my video show that God's punishment cannot be eternal, because he will reconcile all to himself.
@1Thess521 Maybe somebody crazy in this world would have believed it. Your going so far in that its crazy. Like EXTREMELY far in. If it was so far in then Jesus would have clarified that it was not Eternal. Hell is eternal.
@MlpforeverMlp What do you mean by saying that I'm going far in, and if "it" was so far in then Jesus would have clarified that it was not eternal? I don't understand what you're talking about.
@MlpforeverMlp That doesn't make sense. Are you saying that Jesus would have made a point of the fact that certain Greek words didn't mean eternal because he knew they were going to be mistranslated in the future?
@1Thess521reconcile all to himself...THIS PASSAGE MEANS JESUS WILL PAY THE PRICE 4 MANKIND, HE WILL CREATE A WAY FOR ALL TO BE LIKE HIM...ANYONE WHO ACCEPTS THE GOD WRITTEN TERMS TO ETERNAL LIFE SHALL BE RECONCILED UNTO AND INTO THE EVERLASTING KINGDOM OF LIGHT! It similar to the "AMERICAN DREAM"...Not every American has a house, car, career, wealth, health and education...yet, the concept is set in place for anyone who takes advantage of it.
Is that not proof enough? If you believe the bible you must believe all of it. You cant just take the verses you WANT to hear and completely discard them. If you love Jesus then you will love ALL of the bible. That doesnt mean you won't like what some of it says.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Whosoever BELIEVETH in him. You are just twisting the verses.
@MlpforeverMlp My video does not deny that Jesus is the only way to the Father. When all are reconciled, they will by definition be in right relationship with Jesus and the Father.
@MlpforeverMlp My video does not deny the reality of punishment for the wicked, but it is not eternal as the verses in my video prove. For more on this, please click the links in my video description.
"If you believe the bible you must believe all of it."
I have never in my life met a theist who genuinely did believe all that is in the bible, there is always at least a few concepts within it that are:
1) interpreted to mean something which coincides with humanist morality
2) turned into metaphor and not taken literally
3) somehow changed from bad to good due to Jesus's words being more benevolent than the Yahweh of the Old Testament, even though they are supposedly the same.
What version is it from? Is it from a new- age publisher? Check the source & let no man decieve you! The 'Good News' re: Heaven... is for people who believe & walk in love according to God's teachings. Love wins, by guiding them away from the fires of Hell! Hell is mentioned over 200x in The Bible. It is definately a real place. Jesus himself mentions it 13x. Take a look at the book of Matthew, for example -- May the Holy Spirit guide you with discernment in your studies.
So many of the comments on here r from "Christians" and as Christians we say God's love is wonderful and apparently we r living it. I've read about half the comments on this video... None of the comments I read showed any compassion... All of them just attacked and were full of hatred... It is sad... Jesus loves us and he died on a cross so we can have an ETERNITY with him. And he didn't ever show hatred. Yet that's all we show... A smart guy once said "There's nothing wrong with christianity o
Ya know they some how forgot all of the bible verses actually talking about hell??? The bible says sinners will be eternally punished. Yes, they will be forgiven with repentance, but if you die not believing and doing the will of God, there WILL be eternal punishment. This is such a big deal and this video is false prophecy.
the guy who made this seems fairly nice. i think we should not accuse him of being wrong when we ourselfs could be wrong. only god can judge, so lets not try and do it for him. also i belive but i may of course be wrong that hell is meerly the lack of god.
@mrmemanme Have you not read your Bible? (King James only, please)
Jesus tells a story of a rich man (n Luke 16: 23 - 28) & so it's clear there is a hell. To say that it's not a nice place could be the understatement of the century! It's certainly not merely an absence of God, my friend.
Jesus died for us, so we may be reconciled to God & saved from going to Hell – just as long as we'll accept that Jesus' death on the cross is the ONLY way to salvation. Hell is a very real place!
Galatians 6:7-8: "7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life."
Sure, people suffer from hell, but is it not a state of mind or being?
Everybody has their own hell, and thus is why we ask Jesus to change us.
From the King James Bible (the only reliable source): -
Ephesians 1:10 actually reads “that in the dispensation of the fulness of times, he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth, even in him.”
So He’s going to gather all things that are in Christ – i.e. all the Christians - not gather everybody - whether or not they’ve accepted Jesus! Sorry but if He did THAT - what would have been the point in Him dying on the cross for our sins?
@MustaffaCuppa If God gathers all things together in Christ (it doesn't say "that are in Christ"), then all things will be in Christ, that is, reconciled to God. "So then [it is] not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy." Romans 9:16 It is only through what Christ did that anyone can be reconciled.
The King James Bible was translated to English from translations into Greek, which were then taken from word of mouth of unnamed illiterates, and in the process changed in many, many ways over the course of a few hundred years. What, exactly, is reliable about that particular version? If anything, I would think that the original Greek texts would be of more concern, as even though they were also modified they more closely resemble what Jesus supposedly said?
@MustaffaCuppa May I ask why a Bible translated from its original language that was edited by mortal man (even the King himself threw in a commandment or two) is "the only reliable source"?
Hell is real and there is no denying it. I do not know Greek nor Hebrew but I do know that there is punishment for sin. If the righteous are given eternal peace and life then the wicked are to death and eternal damnation. The scriptures even say it never ceases, not just eternal or not but never ending. Anyhow, hell is the worse place ever.
You're wrong - people do go to hell for eternity. It's a place where your soul doesn't die and you are so ticked that you gnash your teeth and suffer.
If your physical body, which contains your physical brain and all nerves, is left on earth when you die, what exactly would feel the pain? What teeth would be gnashed? The teeth are still on earth. Souls as far as I know don't exist, but even if they did, they don't have teeth, nor can they feel physical pain.
@ministryencourager , eternal punishment simply means final death. This is the second death mentioned in the book of Revelation when you are thrown into the lake of fire.
Common sense will tell you that God will not create and torture someone eternally knowing before hand that he will not beliieve and obey Him. God is omniscient. He knows everything from the begining to the end.
Eternal punishment does not mean eternal punishing, but final death with no more chance to live again.
Hey, I agree that God's grace is incredible because he sent his only son to die for us. But remember the verse-For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16)? Because of our sin, we deserve death and punishment because God is a just God. But he is also compassionate; that's why he sent his Son to die for us on the cross so that we may believe and be saved-and live new lives with hope in Him.
Constantine von Tischendorf discovered the Codex Sinaiticus at St. Catherine’s Monastery (Mount Sinai). So it is Good to look at the history of what we believe, the authority and meaning. It is Good to come to understand all things in context. What the words mean, how they are connected, the rules of meaning and construction in the original languages (hebrew, koine greek, aramic). The more I study, the more questions I have, the less I seem to know. Study to show yourself approved etc etc etc.
Codex Vaticanus, Codex Sinaiticus, and Textus Receptus are base manuscipts, copies, we have no original autographs. The NASV is a word per word translation, the NIV is a thought per thought translation OR what a good group of guys decided God meant. Brooke Foss Westcott (an Anglican bishop and professor at Cambridge University) and Fenton John Anthony Hort (also an ordained priest and professor at Cambridge) produced a Greek New Testament in 1881 based on the findings of Tischendorf. cont...
Thank you for this offering. You are so right about the "forever" and "eternal" words.
They are really a finite period of time.
Christ came and taught about a loving and forgiving God and the people thought He was talking of some new, strange god, because the god they worshipped was vindictive and punishing.
The Holy Scriptures tell us to judge by the fruit. Frying your children with fire like peices of bacon for a mistranslation or error in understanding is not good fruit.
@Rush6477 God is loving because he offered us his redeemtion. it is our choice to accept it. if you dont, then God doesnt punish you, rather Jame 1:15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
Death is the natural result of sin. God made a way for us to not need to bear that.
@1Thess521 This belief and twist of God's Word is UNTRUE! Seriously........that is pure lies and you need to seek God with all your heart and ask Him what this scripture really means rather then interpreting it to your own definitions and understanding! This is wrong!
@theyoungguy. I completely agree with you!!! Don't undermine what Jesus Christ did on the cross by saying he'll isn't eternal and the scripture is wrong!! Luke the Bible says " let God be true but Everyman a liar". Love, accept, and believe Gods Holy word for what is says!!!
@AldoTheAphelion According to God's purposes, evil must exist, but God will have vengeance on the unjust, and the suffering of the righteous will pale in comparison to the glory that will be revealed (Romans 8:18).
@AldoTheAphelion You blame God? the loving God that the people you just listed reject? They dont have Gods love and his mercy, because they dont want it.
@mbrain9 I haven't yet read Rob Bell's book. I do not claim that Matthew 25:46 says "time of punishment". I'm not an expert in Greek but from all I've read I think a more accurate translation would be "age-lasting punishment" or "eonian correction". I do not argue that aionion is an adjective, but that does not mean that it means "eternal".
“so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.” Hebrews 9:28 NIV
The bible clearly states that inorder for God to save you, that you MUST acknowledge your sins and repent. God paying the price, is not enough to save all of us, under freewill. we have to take the steps of following him, inorder to be saved.
@1Thess521 theoretically, no. it is entirely possible, but our human nature has given us over to sin, therefore we are born as sinners. Sin: is the complete absense of God. God looked away from Jesus on the cross, because he couldnt bear to see the sin. Sin seperates us from God, and then Jesus being sinless, paid the price for our sin. it is a free gift, but we have to take the action of accepting the gift. Just as God gave the people of Ninevah a set amount of time to repent, he has given us.
@1Thess521 He has given us a set amount of time, And matthew 7 States that Jesus WILL turn away forever, those who didnt follow him with their hearts. really you dont have a very strong arguement. And dependent on the year of greek that you are translating to, you will get different meanings. older greek manuscripts actually undermine your arguement.
@1Thess521 Defend yourself first. Point to the word, or phrase that the church distorted to mean eternal, so far you have only said things, taken verses of the bible out of context, and presented no effective evidence. i am actually interested in seeing your evidence. ive stated my case, you state yours.
@1Thess521 I have now read the first book, and i can tell you there was a problem, from chapter 2 on. its a good and valid arguement. but not definative. The greek itself is a bad language to base this theory off of because the way the letters of the bible were cirrculated was that a house church, in ancient towns, would recieve the letter, and they would read from it during the service, then they would invite other house churches to come, and hire someone to copy the letter.
@1Thess521 As they copied the letter, they didnt do it word for word, they would summarize, use different wording to convey the same message. and as time went on, the older copies, would often be worn out. and the newer copies, with different wording, would survive. When the bible was put together, the church had thousands upon thousands of greek texts, some from greece, from spain, from africa, from alexandria. with hundreds and hundreds of different wordings, and languages.
@1Thess521 they also had some that were older, some that were newer. The older the manuscripts were the more authentic the word choice, they were closer tied to the diciples who had written them, who had been taught by jesus. So the older manuscripts were referenced and compared to the rest. the most prominent wording was the one that was chosen, then after it was complied, it was translated from, greek to latin, then to english.
@SomeYoungGuy1993 Modern bibles are not translated from Latin, and they take advantage of textual criticism to try to determine what was most likely in the original text. But I have to ask, are you bringing up the history of the bible because you think that forms of the word aion have been mistranscribed? What does this have to do with the discussion at hand?
@1Thess521 Also, the same wording that you says, is misinterpretted, is the same that, jesus uses to prclaim his eternal life! Are you saying that jesus is offering us a finite amount of time to live after this life?
Also, how about God, He created time and steps in and out of time, God is infinite! When the word eon is used in the bible as mentioned in chapter 2 of the first source you mentioned, it is talking, directly giving praise to the God who made time!
@SomeYoungGuy1993 Well, to say that God is aionion does not mean that he is only aionion. But he is certainly that. He exists throughout all of the ages, so he is aionion. Believers are promised aionion life, but that doesn't require that our life ends after the ages end. But it certainly is aionion if it lasts through the ages. The word aionion has a relationship to duration of time. If there is no time, there can be no duration of time and no expression of such a duration.
@1Thess521 If God made time, then time obviously has a beginning, thats when God made time. And the bible directly references the end of time! when its talking the "eons" that God has created, it is specifically talking about our universe, and the beginning and end of our time which does not have any grip on God. HIs life that he offers us through Jesus Christ, is part of a life beyond the bonds of time. and just as equally the punishment for not accepting christ, is the opposite of our salvaton
@1Thess521 the very fact of the matter is that this idea, completely and utterly voids the sacrifice of christ. His sacrifice is worthless, if hell isnt an eternal punishment. his sacrifice WAS NEEDED, in order to save those who "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved-Romans 10:11" belief in God, during our time on earth is nessecary for salvation.
@SomeYoungGuy1993 What price did Christ pay? The price of eternal punishment? Give me the chapter and verse for that one. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death. Death is the price he paid.
@1Thess521 What death did Christ pay? physical or spiritual?
When you die, your body perishes and your spirit lives on. The answer to my question is both. Christ died on earth and his spirit went to Hell for the duration of three days, the spiritual death. However because Jesus was an innocent man, in his death he took sin upon himself, Death, both spiritual and physical, could not hold him. He conquered both deaths, and we are adopted as sons and daughters of God.
@SomeYoungGuy1993 1 Peter 3:18b - 20 says, "He (Jesus) was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built." It appears from this passage that Jesus was spiritually alive though physically dead. It seems apparent that he wasn't suffering a spiritual death. Notice that it says, "Put to death in the body", not "body and spirit".
@1Thess521 why did you leave out part of verse 20. If you read verse 20b-22, In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him
@1Thess521 And how is that the price for sin, when all men will die physically (excluding people like elijah)? If christ only died physically then what makes his death different from the one you and i will die? He was sinnless yet under the law and the curse of adam, christ was subject to the same mortality. so if he did not suffer spiritual seperation from God (aka spiritual death), then how did he pay for sin?
@SomeYoungGuy1993 He was someone who was undeserving of death, so his death was a sacrifice, paying the price for our sin. Therefore we are justified. Yes, we still die but there will be a resurrection and death will be swallowed up in victory.
@1Thess521 Read Revelations 20, It tells of a judgement day after the first death that all men suffer. And all whose name is written in the book of life, went on to life eternal. Those whose name was not written in the book of life, are thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, A second death after the resurrection. Christ sacrifice saves all who believe, from the second death. The second death is the penalty for sin therefore, jesus had to suffer it in order to pay our debt. Also in John 5:19-30.
@1Thess521 Revelations 20:11-15. The dead are judged. After the first death, there is a judgment day, and all whose names are in the book of life, go on to spend eternity with Christ. All whose names are not found in the book of life, are cast into the lake of burning sulfur, the second death. That’s the price of sin! Thats what Jesus saved us from, so if he had to suffer that death in order to pay for our sin.
@SomeYoungGuy1993 So Jesus had to suffer eternal death? Because that's what I hear you saying unbelievers have to suffer. And if Jesus didn't suffer eternal death for us, then how is that penalty paid?
@1Thess521 But the Bible, clearly states that the salvation that Christ offers, must be accepted, inorder to be recieved. And there is biblical indication that such an offer includes after judgement and condemnation, at Christs return.
Now, explain John 3:16, is God offering everlasting life? or a "finite amount of time". And Which time period of the greek language is your translation coming from, because, the greek has several different dialects and variation within each dialect?
@SomeYoungGuy1993 John 3:16 refers to aionion life, and the translation of aionion as a finite term is not based on my own translation, but on other sources. You can look up John 3:16 at bibleDOTcc and view the interlinear translation, then click on the strongs number for the word aionion and see Strong's definition, which includes both a finite and infinite definition. Strong's is supposed to define terms according to what they would have meant in New Testament times.
@1Thess521 well in that puts your sources in question, as well as your greek. How can anyone accept the other know which meaning for aionion, was meant to be communicated.
my point is your arguement is based on a 50/50 chance, on a language with dozens of dialects, that has changed over thousands of year. How about the Manuscripts in Hebrew? Aramaic? Latin? do they also offer you support?
Not all manuscripts from which we get our bible were greek. most but not all.
@SomeYoungGuy1993 Some other sources do not have an infinite definition, but there is no chance involved since the verses in my video prove that God's punishment is finite. Only a finite translation of aionion is compatible with those verses. The Greek sources that are used to translate modern bibles are considered very close to the original writings. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word olam is considered the equivalent of the New Testament word aionion (aionios). Please see my description.
@1Thess521 Again, Which type of greek? Aeolic, doric, or ionic? From which type were they written and which type waas used as a reference in the translation? Or what about the nearly Hundred other dialects that are a variation on each other?
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7
The good new is that God found a way to save people - His son, Jesus Christ. The bad news is that this belief is a lie from satan.Knock yourself out, believe this crap.
I dont know if i got it right, dont you beleive in hell? Dont you know hell is real, and the punishment is real Everyone have to choose between two things; Jesus or not Jesus. If you dont chose Jesus you WILL be there, because Jesus is the ONLY way to God The one that says that hell isnt existing is a false prophet, read for example in revelation what will happen to the people with the mark on their right hand or forehead. They have chosen their punishment
Part 3: ...action we carry out, if we deliberately continue sinning as Heb10.26 makes it clear. In conclusion dear brothers, we must not deceive ourselves into thinking that God's Grace will cover all our sins; all such thinking is boastful, arrogant and just plain evil. Do not comfort or justify yourselves with the false hope that you will escape judgement, but in humility and repentance, seek God that His Grace may indeed continue to abound in our lives and transform us into sons. God bless x.
Part 2: It is by His Grace alone that we have been saved. HOWEVER, that is no excuse to engage in sin for He only gives Grace to those who humble themselves and seek His Face; we cannot seek His Face whilst still engaging in sin. If then we use our 'freedom' as an excuse to engage in sin as there is only one wage for this. Do not be decieved, God cannot be mocked. Just as there were blessing and curses for obedience and disobedience under the Law, so are there consequences for every...
@Omzin8a Done. Unfortunately YouTube does not always send the comments to my inbox and I have to go searching for them. I don't know what happened to your part 1. One of your comments said "Comment Removed" when I first saw it.
@mbrain9 Yes, and because of love he had for us, He gave a chance even for the sinful (all of us). He gave His son, people, He gave his SON! How many of you would choose your child to die, saving many? Imagine the love He has for us - as well as you can - its infinite more! But denying even that sacrifice, that eternal love... what do you think is right about that? Hell is without God. It's without strenght, without life, without everything. Maybe even time... So time in hell won't suffice.
I'm a believer and a follower of Jesus, but what i heard was that people get to go in hell for a "finite" time? Have i heard this right? If what you say is right then it sounds like - you dont need to worry, just sin as much as you wish and don't care about God, cause He's a nice guy, he'll get you out? To me this sounds NOT good... God is loving, but he is just. If you deny Him, its denying eternal/infinite love wisdom and power. What's fair for that? Satan denied and he's got his place ready.
Example: You punch someone on the street you get charged for battery or assault. You punch the president in the face you go to jail for treason. In both cases you attempted the same exact sin, but who you did it against determines the severity of the punishment. If you go to jail for punching the president, how much more punishment would you get for sinning against an all powerful, all eternal God?!
The fact of the matter is, this is a heart issue, you don't like the idea of eternal justice so you are altering what God says. If God is perfect, then he is perfectly Just as well, you cannot let sin go unpunished. Why for eternity? I'll tell you why. You are not going to Hell for eternity on the severity of your sin, you're going to hell because of WHO you sinned against. An infinite God requires infinite punishment.
Romans 16:26 "But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the TEMPORARY God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:"
This is blasphemy to claim that God is only temporary and not eternal!
This word for "everlasting" occurs 69 times in the New Testament. 49 times referring to "life" or "kingdom" 8 times refer to "hell" or "damnation", all the others referring to God's infinite attribute.
Now if you were to tell me that it was inaccurately translated, that it actually means a "finite period of time" you must also say that Heaven is only a finite period of time and so is God.
So what does God do with the unsaved then?
cYberNiNja08 3 months ago
@cYberNiNja08 According to the Book of Revelation, all those whose names were not found written in the book of life were thrown into the lake of fire, which is the second death, but not the end of the story according to the verses in my video. I believe that God must use the lake of fire to bring about a "death to self" for those who have not surrendered to God. I believe that in surrendering, repenting and believing they will too be reconciled.
1Thess521 2 months ago
@1Thess521 Too bad the bible doesn't say that anywhere then you'd be right. Sucks when you have to make things up to for your "theology" to work.
cYberNiNja08 2 months ago
@cYberNiNja08 The bible does indicate that God will reconcile everyone to Himself. I was just making inferences about how he will to that.
1Thess521 2 months ago
The Bible does not teach eternal punishment. God's love & mercy endures forever. Does it really endure forever or only in this life? How can it be Good News if it doesn't translate to the afterlife? He's a better Father than we are, right? He will still judge but He won't write people off forever.
1 Timothy 4:10- This is why we work hard and continue to struggle, for our hope is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and particularly of all believers.

God can and will punish evildoers for eternity. Those Biblical references are mistaken.
Romans 6:23
Matthew 25:46
Mathew 13:40-42
Mark 9:42–48
John 3:36

No intention to offend, but to learn.
agormanvideos 6 months ago
@agormanvideos
TheBlankThought 6 months ago
@agormanvideos There is night & there is day, there is good there is evil. Like gravity, no one can deny that fact. There is also a heaven and a hell. Long time ago God maid a massive mess up, His so called 'perfect' creation had a 2 Flaws. The very thing he created rebelled twice. He did not deal with the first rebellion properly, which lead to the second. (cont)

@agormanvideos Comment pending, how appropriate, so much for a true conversation... anyway as i was saying.
TheVALLEYoftheDEAD 6 months ago
@agormanvideos (cont) It clearly states in Ezekiel that one can loose his salvation. Bottom line, whatever happened to the children of Israel in the wilderness, can happen to today's 'Christian'. Most 'Christians' are ignorant of this fact & loads die. Thousands, in-fact died in the wilderness. God wanted to destroy them all at one stage. Even Moses never maid it to the promised land (and he was most meek next Christ himself) He was left to rot in the wildness for touching Gods Glory! .
TheVALLEYoftheDEAD 6 months ago
@agormanvideos (Cont) & Paul stated, 'I run the race''. The reality is, a Christian must first run the race to receive the 'full-prize.' Read Romans, here he states, ''O wretched man that I am, What i 'should do, I don't & what i shouldn't, I do. Who can help me? Then Paul makes reference to Christ. (cont).
TheVALLEYoftheDEAD 6 months ago

Eternal punishment does not mean eternal punishing, but final death with no more chance to live again.
jundurias 7 months ago

@luvtheoc101 , The soul wll die because God will kill the soul of disobedient.
Matt 10:28

If your soul will not die in hell, then your evil soul will have eternal life. But God grant eternal life only to the obedient and the faithful.

MlpforeverMlp 7 months ago
@MlpforeverMlp I'm not saying that Jesus spoke Greek but the earliest gospel texts we have are written in Greek, and those contain finite terms in reference to the duration of God's punishment of the wicked.
1Thess521 7 months ago
@1Thess521 People go to hell for eternity. If it was not so Jesus would have said so. You say ~And I quote~ The words "everlasting" and "eternal" are not accurate translations of the Greek source text.
Jesus would have let us known if hell was not fer eternity. He would have said so. It says no where in the bible about Jesus letting the people in hell free.
MlpforeverMlp 7 months ago
@MlpforeverMlp Why would Jesus have said that God's punishment was not eternal if nobody believed that it was in the first place? The words in the source texts that are translated as "everlasting", etc. are finite terms. If Jesus was using finite terms (in Aramaic) to refer to God's punishment, why would he then have to explain that God's punishment wasn't infinite? Please notice how the verses in my video show that God's punishment cannot be eternal, because he will reconcile all to himself.

Hell is history's greatest scare tactic.

MustaffaCuppa 8 months ago 20
@MustaffaCuppa If God gathers all things together in Christ (it doesn't say "that are in Christ"), then all things will be in Christ, that is, reconciled to God. "So then [it is] not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy." Romans 9:16 It is only through what Christ did that anyone can be reconciled.
1Thess521 8 months ago
@MustaffaCuppa
TheTexanCanadian 7 months ago
@MustaffaCuppa May I ask why a Bible translated from its original language that was edited by mortal man (even the King himself threw in a commandment or two) is "the only reliable source"?

God can and will punish evildoers for eternity. Those Biblical references are mistaken.
Romans 6:23
Matthew 25:46
Mathew 13:40-42
Mark 9:42–48
John 3:36
Hell is real and there is no denying it. I do not know Greek nor Hebrew but I do know that there is punishment for sin. If the righteous are given eternal peace and life then the wicked are to death and eternal damnation. The scriptures even say it never ceases, not just eternal or not but never ending. Anyhow, hell is the worse place ever.

If your physical body, which contains your physical brain and all nerves, is left on earth when you die, what exactly would feel the pain? What teeth would be gnashed? The teeth are still on earth. Souls as far as I know don't exist, but even if they did, they don't have teeth, nor can they feel physical pain.
Ridiculous argument.
TheTexanCanadian 7 months ago

Rush6477 8 months ago 3
@Rush6477 God is loving because he offered us his redeemtion. it is our choice to accept it. if you dont, then God doesnt punish you, rather Jame 1:15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
Death is the natural result of sin. God made a way for us to not need to bear that.

1Thess521 9 months ago
Good arguement, but with holes.
SomeYoungGuy1993 9 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 Is it impossible that everyone won't ultimately take those steps?
1Thess521 9 months ago
@1Thess521 theoretically, no. it is entirely possible, but our human nature has given us over to sin, therefore we are born as sinners. Sin: is the complete absense of God. God looked away from Jesus on the cross, because he couldnt bear to see the sin. Sin seperates us from God, and then Jesus being sinless, paid the price for our sin. it is a free gift, but we have to take the action of accepting the gift. Just as God gave the people of Ninevah a set amount of time to repent, he has given us.
SomeYoungGuy1993 9 months ago
@1Thess521 He has given us a set amount of time, And matthew 7 States that Jesus WILL turn away forever, those who didnt follow him with their hearts. really you dont have a very strong arguement. And dependent on the year of greek that you are translating to, you will get different meanings. older greek manuscripts actually undermine your arguement.
SomeYoungGuy1993 9 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 I invite you to point me to a Greek manuscript that undermines my argument and show me how it does that.
1Thess521 9 months ago
@1Thess521 Defend yourself first. Point to the word, or phrase that the church distorted to mean eternal, so far you have only said things, taken verses of the bible out of context, and presented no effective evidence. i am actually interested in seeing your evidence. ive stated my case, you state yours.
SomeYoungGuy1993 9 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 I've already pointed to the words and phrases via the URLs in my video description.
1Thess521 9 months ago
@1Thess521 I have now read the first book, and i can tell you there was a problem, from chapter 2 on. its a good and valid arguement. but not definative. The greek itself is a bad language to base this theory off of because the way the letters of the bible were cirrculated was that a house church, in ancient towns, would recieve the letter, and they would read from it during the service, then they would invite other house churches to come, and hire someone to copy the letter.
SomeYoungGuy1993 9 months ago
@1Thess521 As they copied the letter, they didnt do it word for word, they would summarize, use different wording to convey the same message. and as time went on, the older copies, would often be worn out. and the newer copies, with different wording, would survive. When the bible was put together, the church had thousands upon thousands of greek texts, some from greece, from spain, from africa, from alexandria. with hundreds and hundreds of different wordings, and languages.
SomeYoungGuy1993 9 months ago
@1Thess521 they also had some that were older, some that were newer. The older the manuscripts were the more authentic the word choice, they were closer tied to the diciples who had written them, who had been taught by jesus. So the older manuscripts were referenced and compared to the rest. the most prominent wording was the one that was chosen, then after it was complied, it was translated from, greek to latin, then to english.
SomeYoungGuy1993 9 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 Modern bibles are not translated from Latin, and they take advantage of textual criticism to try to determine what was most likely in the original text. But I have to ask, are you bringing up the history of the bible because you think that forms of the word aion have been mistranscribed? What does this have to do with the discussion at hand?
1Thess521 8 months ago
@1Thess521 Also, the same wording that you says, is misinterpretted, is the same that, jesus uses to prclaim his eternal life! Are you saying that jesus is offering us a finite amount of time to live after this life?
Also, how about God, He created time and steps in and out of time, God is infinite! When the word eon is used in the bible as mentioned in chapter 2 of the first source you mentioned, it is talking, directly giving praise to the God who made time!
SomeYoungGuy1993 9 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 Well, to say that God is aionion does not mean that he is only aionion. But he is certainly that. He exists throughout all of the ages, so he is aionion. Believers are promised aionion life, but that doesn't require that our life ends after the ages end. But it certainly is aionion if it lasts through the ages. The word aionion has a relationship to duration of time. If there is no time, there can be no duration of time and no expression of such a duration.
1Thess521 8 months ago
@1Thess521 If God made time, then time obviously has a beginning, thats when God made time. And the bible directly references the end of time! when its talking the "eons" that God has created, it is specifically talking about our universe, and the beginning and end of our time which does not have any grip on God. HIs life that he offers us through Jesus Christ, is part of a life beyond the bonds of time. and just as equally the punishment for not accepting christ, is the opposite of our salvaton
SomeYoungGuy1993 9 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 I challenge you to prove that the punishment for not accepting Christ is beyond the bonds of time.
1Thess521 8 months ago
@1Thess521 the very fact of the matter is that this idea, completely and utterly voids the sacrifice of christ. His sacrifice is worthless, if hell isnt an eternal punishment. his sacrifice WAS NEEDED, in order to save those who "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved-Romans 10:11" belief in God, during our time on earth is nessecary for salvation.
SomeYoungGuy1993 9 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 What price did Christ pay? The price of eternal punishment? Give me the chapter and verse for that one. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death. Death is the price he paid.
1Thess521 8 months ago
@1Thess521 What death did Christ pay? physical or spiritual?
When you die, your body perishes and your spirit lives on. The answer to my question is both. Christ died on earth and his spirit went to Hell for the duration of three days, the spiritual death. However because Jesus was an innocent man, in his death he took sin upon himself, Death, both spiritual and physical, could not hold him. He conquered both deaths, and we are adopted as sons and daughters of God.
SomeYoungGuy1993 8 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 1 Peter 3:18b - 20 says, "He (Jesus) was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built." It appears from this passage that Jesus was spiritually alive though physically dead. It seems apparent that he wasn't suffering a spiritual death. Notice that it says, "Put to death in the body", not "body and spirit".
1Thess521 8 months ago
@1Thess521 why did you leave out part of verse 20. If you read verse 20b-22, In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him
the 8 people are noah and his family fyi
SomeYoungGuy1993 8 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 That was my mistake. Make that 18b - 20a.
1Thess521 8 months ago
@1Thess521 And how is that the price for sin, when all men will die physically (excluding people like elijah)? If christ only died physically then what makes his death different from the one you and i will die? He was sinnless yet under the law and the curse of adam, christ was subject to the same mortality. so if he did not suffer spiritual seperation from God (aka spiritual death), then how did he pay for sin?
SomeYoungGuy1993 8 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 He was someone who was undeserving of death, so his death was a sacrifice, paying the price for our sin. Therefore we are justified. Yes, we still die but there will be a resurrection and death will be swallowed up in victory.
1Thess521 8 months ago
@1Thess521 Read Revelations 20, It tells of a judgement day after the first death that all men suffer. And all whose name is written in the book of life, went on to life eternal. Those whose name was not written in the book of life, are thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, A second death after the resurrection. Christ sacrifice saves all who believe, from the second death. The second death is the penalty for sin therefore, jesus had to suffer it in order to pay our debt. Also in John 5:19-30.
SomeYoungGuy1993 8 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 Please show me the verse that says that Jesus had to suffer the second death.
1Thess521 8 months ago
@1Thess521 Revelations 20:11-15. The dead are judged. After the first death, there is a judgment day, and all whose names are in the book of life, go on to spend eternity with Christ. All whose names are not found in the book of life, are cast into the lake of burning sulfur, the second death. That’s the price of sin! Thats what Jesus saved us from, so if he had to suffer that death in order to pay for our sin.
Also in John 5:19-30, John 15:1-17
SomeYoungGuy1993 8 months ago 2
@SomeYoungGuy1993 So Jesus had to suffer eternal death? Because that's what I hear you saying unbelievers have to suffer. And if Jesus didn't suffer eternal death for us, then how is that penalty paid?
1Thess521 8 months ago
@1Thess521 But the Bible, clearly states that the salvation that Christ offers, must be accepted, inorder to be recieved. And there is biblical indication that such an offer includes after judgement and condemnation, at Christs return.
Now, explain John 3:16, is God offering everlasting life? or a "finite amount of time". And Which time period of the greek language is your translation coming from, because, the greek has several different dialects and variation within each dialect?
SomeYoungGuy1993 8 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 John 3:16 refers to aionion life, and the translation of aionion as a finite term is not based on my own translation, but on other sources. You can look up John 3:16 at bibleDOTcc and view the interlinear translation, then click on the strongs number for the word aionion and see Strong's definition, which includes both a finite and infinite definition. Strong's is supposed to define terms according to what they would have meant in New Testament times.
1Thess521 8 months ago
@1Thess521 well in that puts your sources in question, as well as your greek. How can anyone accept the other know which meaning for aionion, was meant to be communicated.
my point is your arguement is based on a 50/50 chance, on a language with dozens of dialects, that has changed over thousands of year. How about the Manuscripts in Hebrew? Aramaic? Latin? do they also offer you support?
Not all manuscripts from which we get our bible were greek. most but not all.
SomeYoungGuy1993 8 months ago
@SomeYoungGuy1993 Some other sources do not have an infinite definition, but there is no chance involved since the verses in my video prove that God's punishment is finite. Only a finite translation of aionion is compatible with those verses. The Greek sources that are used to translate modern bibles are considered very close to the original writings. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word olam is considered the equivalent of the New Testament word aionion (aionios). Please see my description.
1Thess521 8 months ago
@1Thess521 Again, Which type of greek? Aeolic, doric, or ionic? From which type were they written and which type waas used as a reference in the translation? Or what about the nearly Hundred other dialects that are a variation on each other?

Part 3: ...action we carry out, if we deliberately continue sinning as Heb10.26 makes it clear. So time in hell won't suffice.
bakalovesbakachan 9 months ago
I'm a believer and a follower of Jesus, but what i heard was that people get to go in hell for a "finite" time? Have i heard this right? If what you say is right then it sounds like - you dont need to worry, just sin as much as you wish and don't care about God, cause He's a nice guy, he'll get you out? To me this sounds NOT good... God is loving, but he is just. If you deny Him, its denying eternal/infinite love wisdom and power. What's fair for that? Satan denied and he's got his place ready.
bakalovesbakachan 9 months ago
Example: You punch someone on the street you get charged for battery or assault. You punch the president in the face you go to jail for treason. In both cases you attempted the same exact sin, but who you did it against determines the severity of the punishment. If you go to jail for punching the president, how much more punishment would you get for sinning against an all powerful, all eternal God?!
juraikken 9 months ago
