thanks for the song my boyfriend just go to seattle navy hotel yesterday and today he goes to chicago for bootcamp and im so worried... and sad thinking that he would never come back to me anymore... i dont even know what he's doing now... while me i cant sleep and im crying just hugging my cat because im so alone... i love my boyfriend so much and we've been living together for a year... never thought this time would come and i hope i'll survive the loneliness... i'll be waiting for the mail...
I'm from the midwest.. So lack of ocean pretty much equals lack of support while he's gone. My friends are all good, they just can't relate (especially when their bf lives 30 minutes away and they complain that they miss theirs too) -.-'
My fiance is in the navy and we have been through so much these past couple months. We have rescheduled our wedding three times due to them not letting him come home. I just drove 9 hours to see him beofre he left and it killed me to only get to spend 3 hours with him I wear his dog tag everyday to keep him in my heart. Please keep ryan in your prayers that he gets to come home the 22nd to get maried
i ship out november 24th, me and my girlfriend are doing ok with it now, but shes the most amazing person i know and i love her with all my heart, she knows that even though ill be gone for thanksgiving, christmas, and new years, that every single day ill be thinking of her, and every letter i write is written with love!! not only is it hard on the sailor but its just as hard on the people who are closest to them.
Navy Wife, the toughest job in the Navy. Ladies, stay true to your sailor he wants nothing more than to be with you. I know, I've been there N.M.C.B. 74 Operation desert Shield/Storm, my wife wasn't a very good Navy wife.
4 years of being with my USN submariner... gone more than surface ships... Never cheated to all those nasty comments and my sailor would never do that to me... 6 years as a submariner, he's shore duty now, there is an end in sight ladies :-) shore duty does come even though it seems to take forever..
Ladies, don't worry, if your man is in the Navy, he'll be coming home. He's not going to die staying on a ship doing nothing... The thing you should be worried about if anything is if he cheats on you with a chick while partying on the ship and getting drunk... ahhh, i'm lookin forward to the SEAL life myself....

This touched my heart---the memories of so many years ago (21as of 9 Jan 2009) and how waiting by the mailbox seemed like an eternity (and became a hobby of mine--LOL!) Back in the days of the $.22 stamp and a week....or 2....or 3 until the next letter came. This is beautiful and such a great tribute to those of us know what it's like to love a Sailor....God bless you all and your Sailors!

i went through Basic in April-may of 2009 ive been in Corpman "A" school for 14 weeks and now im going to FMTB to train with the Marines, and all ive seen of my wife is 9 days...adn we're still in Love more than ever i'lll have been through over 9 months of training before i get to gome home to her.
when I first got my ham license I used to eaves drop on the SW patch calls between sailors and their wives. It was really heartbreaking, I couldn't do it. Salute and thanks for your service.

tell ya what, my girlfriend actually got preg. with the way the econ. is now... i realized that only half way to a bachelor degree wasn't gonna support a family... so i decided to join the navy, for all of us.
unfortunately she didn't think the same, and things started going downhill from there...
currently we're on a "break" going nearly 6 months now... and no signs of respect from her in a while.

I am very happy that I came across this page. I am going through my first deployment to Australia and Japan. This really brought a smile to my face. I am having a real miss you moment and this helped. I would not trade the world for my sailor! 5 more months and counting!

okay I feel you all but my man and I are both in the navy... This past year we have only see eachother 5 days. If we can make it through our marrage you guys can too... no matter how hard or far you are... This next coming year we will be able to see eachother 1 month total... I applaude you on your ability to wait for your man. While I was on deployment, I received an email from my wife telling me that she was cheating on me, so knowing that there's at least one faithful woman out there means a lot.

Just wanted to say you all are lucky. I got out in 1988. No e-mail, no digital cameras, no phones on the ships and many other things. Sometimes we were not able to recieve or send mail for 3 weeks at a time. Try to tell you finance company that your payment was late because the mail COD had to ditch the pod with your check in it. No on-line banking either. But be proud of your Sailor, Soldier, Airman or Marine they miss you very much.

I feel your pain there. My fiance just up and left me, and i hadnt even gone on deployment! we were together for over 5 years..... A few months after she split, she got engaged again. three and a half years in and i dont plan on getting out anytime soon. Semper Fortis!

Man, it's good to see that other girls spend time making videos for their sailors...I thought I was a little strange, but it does make me feel better. It's also nice to see other silly pictures like the ones my sailor and I took--me in his cover and stuff... tee hee. Oh, our sailors. Aren't they beautiful?

I am very happy that I came across this page. I am going through my first deployment to Australia and Japan. This really brought a smile to my face. I am having a real miss you moment and this helped. I would not trade the world for my sailor! 5 more months and counting!

My soon to be husband is in the royal new zealand navvy as a combat system specialist , and the hardest thing ive ever gone through is have him away at sea , i can't sleep or eat , i love it when hes home , but we have to always remember is make sure to never say goodbye... always say.. see you later

My boyfriend is in the navy and i always seem to cry when i watch this video....its sooo hard to see them have to leave, but it is all worth it when they get back =] keep it up ladies, we can wait, true love will always become stronger with each deployment

okay I feel you all but my man and I are both in the navy... This past year we have only see eachother 5 days. If we can make it through our marrage you guys can too... no matter how hard or far you are... This next coming year we will be able to see eachother 1 month total... It really sucks, but the only thing is the first deployment is the worst, then it kind of but not really gets easier

I applaude you on your ability to wait for your man. While I was on deployment, I received an email from my wife telling me that she was cheating on me, so knowing that there's at least one faithful woman out there means a lot.

Just wanted to say you all are lucky. I got out in 1988. No e-mail, no digital cameras, no phones on the ships and many other things. Sometimes we were not able to recieve or send mail for 3 weeks at a time. Try to tell you finance company that your payment was late because the mail COD had to ditch the pod with your check in it. No on-line banking either. But be proud of your Sailor, Soldier, Airman or Marine they miss you very much.

My hubby has been in Navy 5 yrs and many more to go. We have been married 7 years. Yes it is hard but it is all worth it, would not change a thing. Just got to hold on to the good memories to get thru the tough times. Very good video!

great video! i married a navy guy..and i will never forget the times i had to wait for him to return from his 6 month cruises. heart wrenching! but it was worth it ..we made through it -- we got married 3months ago after a 3 year relationship! he's on shore duty now. he's not going anywhere after he serves 3 more years. :D we're expecting a little girl in March. :D God bless to all the navy wives, fiancees, and girlfriends. xo !

I feel your pain there. My fiance just up and left me, and i hadnt even gone on deployment! we were together for over 5 years..... A few months after she split, she got engaged again. three and a half years in and i dont plan on getting out anytime soon. Semper Fortis!
