Yes, it was mounted outside, in it's plastic housing. The inside stayed dust-free all along the trip but the housing itself got sandblasted on one side while driving all day long in somekind of sandstorm. The part that covers the lens got some minor scratches but when you don't shoot straight into the sun I doesn't show........
Was this mounted outside of the vehicle in a protective case or just out in the open? The shots look incredible and how it didn't get dusty I don't know.
