I drove the same road last saturday with a car double the weight of yours (however I think more power but that's not helping in corners...), however it was bloody awesome. We had a lot of fun and fortunately no police :-)
when i first watched this i was researching owning an elise. this vid helped me make the plunge and i'm now the owner of an immaculate 07 Elise S. From a Scot to a fellow Scot, very nice road mate...almost as good as some of the ones back home :)

It's had the stage 1 power upgrade which includes a sports exhaust. Power is up to 176HP. Also upgraded to Bilstein suspension all round.
