@jamisgood21 it's true. My old winter car was a 96 vw jetta. With snow tires it was quicker and handled better in the snow than my new F150. F150 is slower and doesn't grip as well in deep snow. I'm considering getting some skinny snow tires for this year.

i,ve owned 3 jeeps a willys a cj and a tj all the same basic motor the inline six Chrysler didnt do anything to hurt the jeeps and never had to do anything to any of them except normal upkeep and ran all of them hard in mud snow and normal driving jeep is the best 4x4 you can get not the best gas mileage but the best vehicle for your money and will last much longer .

@Redneck97able it's a funny comment coming from someone who has owned a 2005 F-150 with a 6" lift with 35's on it. Now sold i own a 2008 mini cooper jcw. Either way, i have experience with many types of vehicles.
The only reason why the jeep wins is because the Ford runs a lot lower gear set up than the jeep. The jeep in 4WD only has a a gear ratio of like 2.7 the Ford runs a lower gear than that in 2WD at 2.84 and a 4WD ratio of 4.17. The Ford is not geared to go fast in four wheel drive, now run both those vehicles in 10 inches of snow or mud the Ford wins everytime and the jeep gets stuck simple as that.

NOTICE: the jeep slides alot less in the snow...it has skinny tires that cut through and grab dirt the fords tires are wide and he floats on the snow.

The tires boys, made a huge difference here. those big rubbers on the 150 were too wide for those particular conditions.
