Brilliant mate.I have a 1000 in 1 games arcade arriving this week. The volume is very low on it though, how could i alter it?Plus it takes 3-4 minutes to power up.Is this a major problem and how much to put right?
@Ganbareg I thought about that to and the thing is when the TFT monitor goes out its a lot cheaper and easier to replace than a CRT. I can assure you the games are just as fun as they are in the arcades and from what you can tell from the cabinet I'm in it for the fun and not authenticity. Everyone that comes to my house loves it.
Hi I have a Question I wanted to buy this Arcade Cabinet there was a few things I saw and was mad with this cabinet like the keyboard and mouse shows but my main question is there enough room to put plexiglass to cover the lcd monitor and can you add a light to the marquee so that it lights up? and is there room for you to put plexiglass on the marquee please let me know Thank You
Dude dud u finally get something to hide the keyboard n if u do
Please post. I ordered this cabinet but with the arcade classics grafx. One more question. What type of speakers did u put on your cabinet. Is there enough space to put some nice computer speakers. I haven't gotten my cabinet was just curious. Is there anyway we can make our cabinet glow from the marquee or not. Let me know some ideas. Thanks.
Still trying to come up with a nice clean design to cover the keyboard. Thought about using plexiglass to make a bezel for the monitor with a swing out door for easy access to the keyboard. There is plenty of room for some nice speakers. "Philips MMS171-PC 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System" is what I'm using for sound and they fit perfectly and sound great! The description panel to the right has a complete list of everything I have in the cabinet as of now.
I love Maximus Arcade! I'm currently working on installing it and working all the bugs out. Thank you everyone for recommending this front end to me. I should have another video update soon.
dude i told u that you would like maximus man .. I have the mp3 jukebox feature that kicks in with itunes then i use visualizer and theres is a cool 3d images dancing to the beat of the song being played and u can use your iphone or itouch to wirelessly change songs o the computer using itunes... future pinball is awsome man... lots of headaches but in the end the best stuff around man.. goddluck... please repost your shot whenever you get something to cover the keyboard .. thanks jjjj
Thanks for responding back. You should get Maximus. Took me a couple of weeks of tinkering buy got it up n running man. It's incredible software n highly recommended. Easy 1-2-3. Once u know how to use it. Please post whenever u add on to the cabinet.
25 dollars for Maximus aracde and that is it. Free trial n then the 25 bucks is all u need yo Hooke ut machine up. Maximus us the bomb. If u look around you can get a key password for Maximus arcade n bit pay the 25 dollars.
Love the cabinet. I am doing the same with Maximus arcade and the emulators. I just found ur post today and will be ordering this soon. Just one question is this cabinet good and sturdy? Would you recommend this? Have u found a way to hide the keyboard. N please post pic with sliders to hide keyboard or any ideas. Please respond. Thanks.
I checked Youtube for the same thing. Yeah I did research Maximus Arcade looks better than some others (Game EX, MAMEwah, Atomic FE) the customizing you can do thats on their website is astounding. $25 then what is the full purchase after the trial?
The cabinet is very sturdy and well build and for the price its unbeatable if your looking for a compact cabinet. I haven't had a chance to go to the local home improvement store to look around to help me get some more ideas on hiding the keyboard yet. I will keep having update videos on the cabinet as this project progresses.
I've heard a lot about Maximus Arcade. I'll check out the trial version because I've been looking for a nice front end.
Congrats on the cabinet, it looks great. Do you have any consoles hooked up to it, or are you only running emulators? Judging by how smooth KI is running, I assumed you were running the n64, but it clearly says "insert coins".
Thanks! At the moment I'm only running emulators. The specs on the PC are 1.6Ghz Dual Core Intel M Processor with 1G of Ram running Windows XP Home. It does a good job but I need more than this if I'm going to have a dual purpose machine. (Arcade and Home Network Server)

How loud are the speakers you have in this cabinet and do they have a subwoofer?
piscesdreams1023 3 months ago
@piscesdreams1023 the sound system can get pretty loud and the subwoofer adds a nice touch of bass to go along with it.
