What is your deapth? I just bought one. The reviews say it has a10 foot limit but you seem deaper than that.

Its costs £70, better than a mobile phone camera, and is just as good as a camcorder of that price! Its great!

Can this camera be hit with a paintball at the lens and be fine?

People do use it for paintballing. Only worry would be if the lens would scratch.

I took one to the Red Sea (2007)

Shame there is no red filter accessory available for teh camera or white balance control which is why the footage is blue'ish.

Down to approx. 8 metres all controls function normally but pressure increases with depth so below approx. 13 metres the camera auto activates/controls stop working and below approx. 16 metres the camera shuts down.

Waterproofing was exceptional, teh camera went down to 50 metres.

good camera for snorkeling, sunlight stops blue'ishness.

Very nice video! I can vouch for the durability of this camera, too. I use it on a firefighter helmet to video firefighters in action. It has survived water, fire and being banged around. Some of the videos on my page are from it.

I didn't know you could go that deep with it, until now. Thank you for your video!

For those asking about how waterproof the camera is, Oregon Scientific states that while the manual and packaging state it is only 'water resistant' they later tested it and found it to be water PROOF to at least 3 meters.

I'm looking at getting one for airsoft skirmish videos.

Guys, I took it to 7 metres depth and as you can see it survived fine! NO bag nor case, just straped to the side of my head! Just put it this way, the cam cost $100, if I never get to SCUBA again, at least i got the footage of when i did!

i've just read the manual for the camera and it says dont take video underwater.. is it really waterproof or do u have like a dozen of them?

Im thinking of getting one of these cameras. The specification says its waterproof up to 10ft, how deep did you dive?
