Moved my heart!! I've been on missions trips and humanitarian aid trips and it is definitely something that will change you forever. But sometimes once you return home to the comforts of the U.S. it's easy to forget those things after a while and get back into our selfish routine. It's videos like this that jolt me back into a less worldly mindset and re-set my focus to the things that really matter in life. THANK YOU!

My school has bullying and fights that ive seen all throughout my 6th and few days of 7th grade someone, somewhere has been bullying someone its like a disease that they just have to get rid of but somehow they like to keep that disease because it hurts other people.

Bullying at schools is the same thing its like a war between 1 or more people...

You actually have to go out there, hands on, and do something about it. and i dont see actions here that would make any significant changes in this town. if its only handing out food, the right place to do that is in africa. these ppl here have clothes and shoes on, it seems their necessities are met.

In response to kali4niyahood I would ask whether your God has power and what that power is, or who you believe God to be if at all you do believe. Firstly it is not out place to condemn the actions of the people in this video helping others. While it may be true that the scale of poverty and suffering in Africa is much greater that does not and cannot negate the merit or value of what these people have done. I'm sure you would agreethat it is implausible to reach all peoples so the focus must--

then be to reach those that you can. You can make a difference to those who you help and if the people agreed that the place of greatest need is Africa then many more needs would go unmet. Who can judge the scale or value of a need?

Anyway, I would raise one more contention. In James 2 the author (James) relates how faith without action is dead and how words without action or faith are meaningless. In this I agree with you, beyond the token words we are to follow-up faith with action.

In regards to your comments on prayer I would ask why you pray (and who you pray to)? If as you relate, prayer is a cop-out for helping and is merely an interchange between God and man/woman then your God is dead. Why do I make such a statement? Because in such a claim is the implicit belief that God has no power to move in our lives and in the world to affect a change. God is neutered by his inability to do as he wishes with his own creation...??? Read James 5:16
