He was home for a day and he was ok the second day he didn't want to do anything the third day he got so bad that they had to put him in a special hospital bed at their house. We got a call fro our aunt and she said the nurse didn't think he'd make it through the night. So we went to their house and we went in the room by him and we all got a chance to say goodbye he'd always live longer than the n

  • Dont get me wrong i love this song but it bugs me that there are all these songs about guys driving! Im a female truck driver i think its time we get a song!

  • It's hard listening to this song now that I almost lost my dad in that wreck. Nobody realizes how scary it is and how dangerous it is to be in an eighteen wheeler. I never thought it would happen to him. I thought God would hear our prayers every night. He was jus going to Houston, but who would of guessed a drunk driver would hit him. He saved her liife. That night I got to the hospital and went back to the trauma unit I asked him why he swerved as far over as he could knowing he could of died.

  • I love u dad

  • Grandpa tells a lot of stories about his experience the years he drove an eighteen wheeler, from driving long weeks away to stuck and heating engines with fire in the middle of snow storms. I can't help rolling tears when listening to the tune and every single time it plays on radio or CD players. Thank you for sharing

  • this song reminds me of my DAD

  • awesome job loved it thank you

  • This song means the world to me. I like very few country songs but this happens to be one of the few.

  • As a former driver I love this song !! I know how hard we work when we are out on the road and how difficult it is to call home and hear the kids telling you everything they are doing and you know there is no way you can get home to join them. I spent a Thanksgiving, Christmas and a New Years out on the road two years ago without being able to be home. When drivers call home and hear the kids crying on the other end of the phone and asking why aren't you with them its very hard,

  • The love has not died...so all I can do is say....ROLL ON! 1-4-3, -TOP!

  • My father is a trucker and I worry about him in the winter months when the ground and roads get all iced over...I really hope that the fucktards the work over him give him his due. He slipped on ice once where he works and they blamed him for not being careful! He lost 4 years of being their best driver to some dumbfuck who didn't put salt down like they were supposed to...They make me so mad. He's got majority over practically everyone there and he's treated like shit...I just want to slap them

  • sounds like something CR England Inc in Salt Lake City would do. They claim they care about their drivers but honestly they don't and they make it very obvious

  • To computercomedyguy ,I take no afence to what people people think of truck drivers,If you took away, food, gas, car parts, and what u can buy at Walmart, And YES i do shop at walmart for everything I can! you just do not understand what those men AND women and I say it that way " BECAUSE THE WOMEN HAVE EARNED IT" The next time you buy a coke, loaf of bread, milk, or rubbers!!!!! Someone took the time to bring it there!!! That's what a truck driver does!!!!!!!!!!!

  • heyy awsome video, i love the song, im thinking on becoming a trucker when i finish high school, i totally respect truckers, there the heart of all countries, and thats what it takes is a big heart to be a trucker, if we didnt have truckers we wouldnt have all the things we have today such as cars and stuff , this goes out to all truckers ! everyone should respect truckers

  • my dad was a trucker n i missed him so much n once this happened he wrked rly hard n sumtimes i wuld go wif him

  • Thankss for posting very well said and done !!

  • Ok everyone. A few months back I said some, pretty mean things about f*cking around with a CB radio. Well, this I lied about. I wasn't thinking about things before I said it. This is a great country, and I do respect truckers. Plus I really like the fact that some of these truckers are helpful in stopping a police pursuit.

Most of you probably won't forgive me for what I said, but frankly, I don't care. I apologized.

  • My man is a trucker and I will say they do work hard, and it is hard for the whole family. I know my 19 months old son looks forward to when daddy is coming one which is 4 to 5 days out of a month.

  • My daddy is a trucker. its really hard for them to do all these runs... jsut think... without trucers, hw wuld we get all the clothes, cars, and other things we have today. they are like, the heart of america and we should appreciate them! You guys that are dissin' truckers try to go to sleep at 9:00 one night, wake up at 10:00 the same night, and then go to sleep a 12:00 2 or more days later! tats wat they do! and then the cussn at them cuz tey turned to wideor cant stop fast enoug! so shut it!

  • computer dude dont mess wt truckers they work hard for this free country s

  • truckers are the kings of the highways, i bet they can even drive through the highway with the eyes closed.

  • Don't mess with us!!! We're bigger & badder than you!!!

  • free country aint free any more & you're gay so HA

  • Comment removed

  • haha.. assuming you're talking about USA.. LOL @ u thinking its a free country. Free enterprise yes. But the government keeps finding ways to violate the amendments. Like the right to bear arms... theyre just trying to make the cost of bullets so high that the average person can't afford to shoot em.. see how those fucks work?

  • Bare some one is always trying to fuck with some thing. You're right though.

  • computercomedyguy i am good friends with a trucker known him ever since i was a little. It has been years since then. But truckers do so much and work very hard for us. i am asking you nicely. Would you please respect truckers? and if not please don't post disrespect here where we are talking about what GOOD truckers do and how hard they work. Without truckers we'd have almost nothing in stores and FEDEX would take months.

    Thanks
