  • the best airline in the world and they've got some HOT flight attendants

  • i thingking garuda is the best in airbusgaruda a330-200 busines class and a330-300 business class singapore airlines is the second

  • @landi2211 the garuda business class is average, more like singapore airline's economy class.anyway who trusts garuda more than singapore airlines?indonesia has a lousy track record in planes bus trains ferries,i rather pay 3k more to get an singapore airlines economy seat than garuda's business class.

  • :D

  • yea, lets try flying it first before we paint it...

  • @Donbass777 Airbus is a european manufacturer. Therefore many countries are involved. The A380 is assembled in Toulouse, France, then painted in Germany. Makes sense?

  • Wait!0:27 the nose is red then at 0:29 is white!o.o?

  • Hard landing 0:49

  • Bad Landing at 0:50 , less flare.

  • (sigh) my most favorite airplane!!! Boeing 747 is my second favorite if i ever start my own airline i wont think twice in having A380 in my fleet!!!

  • @ghettoperson257 That is if you have 300 million dollars laying around........

  • @BoeingDude777 true

  • great airline but what a waist of money the a380 is

  • what`s the name name of the soundtrack?

  • SIA is the best

  • thx to all the painters , u guys rock !

  • what happens if they screw up the painting?

  • Surprised they haven't gone to robotic painting yet. A lot of man hours and paint exposure being spent per airplane.

  • @normanmj Well, robots simply don't have the "eye" that is needed to do a lot of the preperation. Thats what painting is 90% all about... prepare the plane for painting, putting the decals on, cleaning the surfaces and such. The painting itself really is just about 10% of the job as you can see in the video.

Once every decal and strips of ductapes are in place, you just spray and pray. :)

  • The landing at 0:48 was hard.

The plane bounced a little but.

  • it had an extreme make over :)

  • This plane flew right above me when the plane was waiting for it to land in Heathrow,i was like WOAH thats...HUGE :P

  • seriously...does this come with a warranty period? and how many years?

  • Comment removed

  • Did they paint the tail twice?

  • @TheDokaDoka yeah cuz the paint has to be opaque

  • I still think it's too large... Not very many airports can accomodate this huge bird. I think the timing was bad to set it free, so to speak, in these times. 10 years ago would have been perfect.

My bet is on the 787... Just my oppinion though. 380 is still nice though

  • I like every airline that has A380s!!!!

  • one of the luxuriest airliner in world.............

  • SIA got 10 now

  • 1 WORD "EPIC"

  • The plane when haven't painted yet got red nose. LOL.

  • hermoso

    espectacular

  • at the start looks like a rudolf !!XD

  • ottimo!

  • the best airline in the world

  • yes they have great service

  • @50RpJ the best is the emirates

  • @456kaltrina Singapore Airlines :D

  • Does anyone know what the green and brown colour is on the fuselage?

  • This is the primer, it is applied the first layer that protects parts from corrosion until the final painting.

  • Some people really make me laugh on youtube, talking how bad the landings are. ha ha ha ha. These guys are pros. I'd like to see you seating on the left seat of an A380 5 miles from final. You'd probably do in your pants crying mummy. The day you become a test pilot for Airbus then maybe, just maybe you can have a say about how bad a landing is.

  • Not to mention it's a extreme wing efficient plane with landed with a joystick! I'm a fan of airbus and that landing wasn't bad at all considering it's so new the landing was great!

  • @sonicfan7 I dont love the joystick but its an ugly plane great idea thought out by airbus but in two years all the a380's will not have all the nice classes it will probably have 3 or 4 nothing like its 5 or 6

  • shit landing at the begining tbh!!!

  • Its a test landing they do it purposely to see if the landing gear will be strong enough to actually withstand a bounce or two before they put passengers on and find out if it actually can

  • looks so peaceful in the air, how many a380s are in survice now?

  • about five

  • @whitehawk38 59 i believe

  • @whitehawk38 service*

  • Sorry but that was a poor landing there, mr. test pilot.

  • no, he did that purposely. 2 test the strength of the landing gears

  • Wait... don't they have to add the seats in too? Did they forget or something?

  • No, the airline adds the seat itself in their own choice of configuration

  • !!wow!! your watching this video too hehe

  • Thank you very much :)

could i request for some comment

  • I want my oxygen back, please!!!

  • I like this music.

is it an actual song, or did airbus get it done for them?

if its an actual song, does anyone know the name of it.

The A380 is one of my favourite planes!

  • I don't remember asking you for your opinion . . .

  • now this looks like an AIRBUS

  • Boeing 787 first delivery scheduled for 2010, a350 for 2013i know the 787 is slighlty backed up

  • That airplane the B787-100 will be turned over to AA.

  • Ha Airbus has to ship the planes from one factory to another to finish them unlike Boeing that does everything in one advanced factory.

  • Airbus is a multi-national corporation, You can tell that major manufacturing plants are disperse among thee nations because for political reasons. Germany- most assembly facility and delivery.

France- headquarters, main assembly and delivery point as well as service.

UK -some parts assembly. (not sure)

USA - wing design center (since 2007 I believe)

***Concorde was one of the first airplanes to be made like this. but I can't remember what countries. (UK,FRANCE for sure)

  • Concorde was made by UK and France

For Airbus, the design office is mainly in France and Germany, with significative tasks in UK and Spain. The manufacturing is in those four countries. Wings in UK, fuselage in Germany and France, HTP in Spain. (VTP?). Assembly is in France (A320, A330/340, A380) and in Germany (A32x) (and in China for a few A320). Some cabin furnishing work is also made in Germany (A320 and A380)

parts (like landing gears or engines) can be made outside those four states.

  • VTP is made in Germany. The whole tail cone is made of monolithic CFRP built in Spain. Landing gear is from Messier Dowty (SAFRAN Group)and Goodrich Corporation.

  • Not every aircraft paint facility can handle the largest passenger airliner in the World now can they . ..

  • 737 fuselage travel by train.

787 fuselage is mostly made outside the USA. (Italy, Japan, etc.) I think they might have to ship it too.

  • No most parts are transported by the 747LCF to Seattle.

  • boing put their planes together in seatle, evereet actually

  • boeing put their planes together in seatle, evereet actually.

  • The landing looked kind of gumpy!

  • bumpy*

  • Yeah, i think that landing was abit bumpy xD

  • emirates is first 2 order the a380. Singapore airlines payed more money 2 get the first 1. I cant wait 2 see & go in the emirates a380. I've seen the exterior of this plane in real life

  • Ohh shut up diorboi2006..why does it bother u so much huh??

  • the airbus have to fly after the painting becuase te painting need to dry and for that thaey fly it and the tem is cool just a way for them to send the airbus to singapore and the painting to dry

  • Great video!!

  • maybe they ordered it first you fat muncher.

  • Because we're better than you. So shut up.

  • No one in your country is ordering the A380 anyway.

  • OI JIBAI Kns bastard u buai song come find me lah... fcking shit eater...go and fuk urself lah...Jibai kns bastard face...

  • To diorboi2006 sry...

  • I wonder how aircraft engineers deals with their career. A dream job but the stress can take the shits outta me.

  • theres hundreds of engineers on this and they do a specific area of the plane. on group may do the tail the other wing and so on.

  • the glider version at 00 20 must be more afordable... but imagine the tow plane ! ^^

  • Yeah. Good bye, dear 747. A380´s takin´ over.

  • oh wait till u c what boeings gonna make next =)

  • Y3 won't happen before 2020. Why? Because the 787 has so many orders that they will need time until 2017 to produce all planes and develop the derivate named 787-10. On the other side Boeing will be forced to develop Y1 or enhance the 737 if they want remain competitive against the upgraded GTF powered A320.Also the 777 is under attack by the A350-900/1000 so forget any A380 competitor. Not to forget the A380-900 strech which will be build after 2015 and will be a wordbeater in fuelefficiency.

  • the a350 is backed up as much as the 787

  • Could you please enlighten me and tell me how you came to this conclusion?

  • i luv u a380..u're the best of the best..

  • amoreamar.......... ciao good air bus A 380

  • a classic and famous airline livery on a modern aircraft. Way to go Singapore airlines, you are the worlds best airline

  • el boing esta chido pero no mas ke el airbus a380000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

  • Say bye bye to Boeing 747 series.

  • She looks so beautiful in Singapore Airlines livery!

  • Wow! Amazing!

  • I like it, anyone knows how much a ride would cost? economic class

  • singapore-sydney for approx US$1200

  • really? it's not that bad, I thought it would be a few thousandds dollars

  • yeah mate. haha. normal rate (same as the 747 rate) for the economic class.

  • How about business class?

  • Amazing! Let's hope its a commercial success after all the effort not to mention the cost!

  • Very nice!
