Ha. They left out the flail, but I guess that's okay. Even with absolutely no relation to it's Eastern counterpart, the nunchaku the flail is just a wonderful bladed version of it. Also sounds so cool when you sing it around. Whenever I play NG1.Black or 2 I think Ryu is trying to be Bruce Lee when I make him swing around his flail or nunchaku.

My vote for best weapon is the good old Dragon Sword. Simple yet one of the most effective weapons that can handle any number of situations you can think of. Once you master the Dragon Sword you can do anything.

My favourite weapon style us Blade of the Archfiend which allows you to equip both the True Deagon Sword and Blade if the Archfiend. Very powerfully. Fully upgraded scythe is amazing too.

Kusari-gama is my best weapon on everything that is not a boss. It is not good at bosses. But i still use it on them anyway. : ) my second best is dragon sword. My brother is best with falcon talons and dual katanas.

My best weapons is the dragon sword the claws and dual swords. I just got the Kusari-gama not to long a go. So I never use it in battle. So I can't say it's my best yet. I also have the staff. However its a good weapon. But not one of my best. I can't say about scythe and the tunfa because i don't have them yet.

I had all weapons full leveled up(this is so friggin easy to do if u use alot of Ultimate Techniques) and my best weapons are the scythe, claws,the dual swords and dragon sword. The Kusari-gama is the best weapon for ALOT of enemies. Dual swords are ideal if you want to hit alot of enemies without you being hit. Hope this helps you =D

I just wish the game wasn't so goddamn hard. If the beginning difficulty was just a bit easier, for not as hardcore players, like myself, I would be playing it non-stop. I love the idea of Ninjas and being able to use their weapons to kill other-worldly beings is kickass. But, alas, I cannot do so without punching a small child when the AI totally screws me up my pooper and leaves me to try with the rest of the turds.

Most of the weapons are good, but what u need to now is when to use which. Using the Tonfas against a large group of enemies is always effective but using the Scythe against the Dragons and flying demons is more effective since they sometimes fly. If you just started use the Lunar Staff and save up ur money so u can later on buy items and upgrade those 2 weapons

@WhiteGhost1985 Devil May Cry 4 has good weapons but theyre not like any of the weapons in NGII. The storyline is great in DMC4 but its repetative. You go thru 11 missions with Nero just to go thru the same 11 missions with Dante to go back to where u started. Ninja Gaiden isnt like that.

Yea,when your weapons are out but you are not in combat after fighting,he will splash the red/green blood of enemies on the ground.Each weapon has different animations so it's pretty cool.

You get a new costume depending on the difficulty, and you can start that difficulty from the beginning, taking everything from the last game with you... but only for that difficulty, also, you cant upload your karma score in a new game+

The final attack of the Dragon Sword is quite impressive!No matter what enemy it is,Ryu always get it beheaded!But in fact,I prefer the twin swords most.Two head are better than one,and it takes much more effort and strength to master twin swords when compared with simply one catana.
