  • I always thought it was "Gimme back my other half" :\

  • Gimme back my other whore!

  • wah ...idup ghasa nyawaku!

  • What's with all this labeling? Can't rock music just be rock music?

  • @AssassinJ2 Or even better, Cant music just be music? :3

  • @AssassinJ2 thats a label!

  • and in my eyes Nirvana is not grunge, id call them PUNK

  • @BlindMelon1993 Na. Grunge is Heavy Metal Punk dripping with The Beatles. Like this.

Put punk is just "frozen state" heavy rock.

  • i hate nickleback, i love nirvana

  • I Wann play on this on rock band

  • People annoy the fuck out of me talking on every fucking page about genres and how one album is so not "commercial" like the other one. Goddamnit just listen to the goddamn music and if it's good, download it, buy it, like it. In my humble opinion they are all very good albums. Just because a lot of people know about Nevermind and it wasn't as "hard" as this album doesn't fucking mean it doesn't have fantastic melodies and riffs. Get the fuck over it. It's not rap or today's radio shit so STFU.

  • @blackhorse099 Ha, couldn't agree with you more if I'm honest. Who really gives a shit what genre it is, Nirvana is just brilliant :)

  • I feel like scum being on youtube listening to Bleach. I also feel fat and old. Winger!!!

  • Gimmie back my applesauce

  • I first bought this cd years ago when I was about 12.

I used to think he was saying "gimme back my humble home"

Come to think of it, at the time I didn't like it much. i just thought the music was too adult for me and id'e be better off listening to Everclear or the Presidents of the United States of America or even Tool

  • my friend gave me a list of 76 Nirvana songs tht i just HAD to look up.... i now love the hell outta him

  • When i first heard this song, as stupid as it sounds, i thought it said 'gimme back my ma mahuhow' :3

  • Gimme back my alchohol!

  • I used to think he was saying "gimmie back my healthy heart!"

  • this album and in utero are probally my fav album by them.

  • Comment removed

  • The vocal melodies, song structure, everything about this song is great. Fuck Teen Spirit.

  • This is just a great song...

  • grunge is...Nirvana, Mudhoney, Mother Love Bone, Temple Of The Dog, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Melvins......I guess Smashing Pumpkins would be another one. I would not classify Creed, Nickleback, or Radiohead as grunge, I do like Radiohead though.

  • @streetphysician i guess radiohead is not classified as grunge, because the music has not "reached" a level of aggression and punk-feeling...

  • @streetphysician last three are post grunge as far as im concerned

  • @ScullyboyDX ..and Alice in Chains is NOT grunge they are METAL

but god do i love Alice

  • @BlindMelon1993 Alice in Chains is Grunge, not Metal bud.

  • @skiny998 what fuckin music world do you live in dude? cause there from seattle? Jimmy Hendrix is from seattle where they grunge? all you have to do is open your ears and listen to Jerry Cantrell

  • @BlindMelon1993 It's nothing to do with where they're from. Alice in Chains is a grunge band. Look it up on Google, type in 'is Alice in Chains Grunge' or something. They where a big part of the grunge movement. No need to swear man, it's not good language to use. Trust me when I say Alice in Chains is a grunge band.

  • @skiny998 lol listen to there MUSIC sure some songs like DIRT, RAIN WHEN I DIE and LOVE HATE, LOVE sound Grunge and just listen to damb that river, godsmack or even some of there old shit like, I CANT HAVE YOU BLUES, they had HUUUDGE metal influence as you can hear. but call them was you want ...i HATE the word GRUNGE!

  • @BlindMelon1993 Seriously, go online and do some research about Alice in Chains. The majority of fans would say they're a grunge band. Metal bands are bands such as Metallica, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth, Machine head, Motorhead and Pantera. Grunge in Nirvana, Tad, Green River and Skin yard. Now which one of those groups is it easier to associate Alice in Chains with? You may hate the word grunge but the majority of people would say Alice in Chains is grunge.

  • @streetphysician DUDE where is Greenriver! or Dickless

  • @streetphysician Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Alice In Chains for life!

  • @streetphysician So true. And Radiohead isn't grunge no. But they are hell of a band. I don't like there new post dubstep stuff though. there very expeiremental

  • @streetphysician i dont think nickleback is grunge nor is good enough to be consider grunge

  • i agree with Kurt, "Give Me Back My Alcohol Dammit", "In your eyes I'm not worth it anyway so screw you all interventionists & other tough love fukfaces!" PPL Piss me the fk off & alcohol makes me happy.... My liver might not like it, but I don't g.a.fk so fk it all. No one lives forever anyway... I'd like to go out after a few nights of drinking, doping, h & xnax yeah (just speaking for myself in my current mood, tomorrow i might go to an na meeting so don't respond with bullshit)

  • @calanero party on :)

  • @calanero Eh... Sorry, but I don't think this song is about how great beer is, dude. It's more about neglectful parents who are never satisfied with their kids, treat them like crap and then still wonder why they turn out wrong (for example, start drinking) The lyrical speaker is basically telling his parent that they lost the right to act like parents (and confiscate stuff that definitely doesn't belong in the posession of teenagers) when they failed to do anything but crush their offspring's

  • @calanero self-esteem. Tough I do not completely Agree with you, I'm also annoyed by these puritsts- but this song is something deeper than that, you know? You can tell by the way he sings - you don't get that emotional/intense about BOOZE. Please, drink as much as you want, but respect teh art. Sorry if I get too worked-up about this, but thanks to my "father", I know how much the feelings that are discribed in here SUCK, so please don't belittle this by reducing it to being about booze, ok?

  • only Nirvana's song whit double bass!!!!

  • This song relates to my whole life :(

  • I have listened to other Grunge bands. Such as Nickelback, Creed, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains.

But Nirvana is like the best.

    The lyrics are deep.

Obviously I've listened to a few of their stuff from Nevermind and In Utero.

First time listeneing to Bleach. This is just the amazing stuff!

Don't get me wrong, the other Grunge bands are brilliant too!

That's what makes Grunge so great!

It can mean anything and is always relevant [and happy(-ish) LOL]

  • @TheWanderingSkeleton all those bands are awesome except nickelback

  • @Uzingniga20

    Shut the hell up man!!!

Why don't you listen to their early albums. Which are Hesher, Curb and the State!

Wikipedia those albums and youtube search the track listings.

Though personally, I like them old and new.

    So open up your mind!!!

  • @Uzingniga20 and Creed, and Stone Temple Pearlets...... Most the awesome bands that made it were Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Melvins, and some others i can't recall at the moment because i'm a negative creep and i'm stoned.

  • @TheWanderingSkeleton Creed and Nickelback arent grunge

  • STUPENDA!"

    PERFECT SONG!

UNE CHANçon totalement inspiré Européenne! ....ATmosphere! punk -metal!

  • @0371998 THE SONG For a GENEral ...into..a War!

He said... : Give me My alchool...and I must **kill million **of bastard!

  • I think he wants his alcohol??? Idk just something i asume:l

  • the best of nirvana<<<<BLEACH !!!!!!^^

  • \,,/

  • what a voice what a song what wot

  • Hahaha, what the hell man? I remember when I first brought this record home and listened to this song, and I couldn't make out the lyrics; I thought he was saying "Give me back my apple-hop.".....

What the bloody hell is an apple hop? A cross over between apple bees and Ihop? I just don't know....

  • @aPandorasboxofmusic You've destroyed this song for me now, all i can hear is apple hop. :D

  • @MattBrooking1 I know right lol...

  • @aPandorasboxofmusic i loled hard at that lol

  • @aPandorasboxofmusic I thought I was the only one who thought that

  • @queenmother123 Me too... Good to see i'm not completely insane.

  • @aPandorasboxofmusic Yeah I remember I couldnt make out lik 95 percent of the lyrics when I first got the album but that was one of the reasons I loved it so much, you know...the mystery of it all.

  • so good. love it.

  • In my eyes, I'm not LAZY.

  • i never noticed double bass in this song before.

  • @chrisjtt509 hey man, have you noticed that double bass is only on the fiorst album? guess it's not Grohl's style. I like channing alot.

  • Memories...

  • Not quite sure what "Bleach" is, but this song is epic, regardless.

  • @MrMetallicMentality the fucking first album

  • @studas2011 Ah, thanks. Not really a big Nirvana fan. I prefer heavier stuff. No harsh feelings, just a difference in musical taste.

  • @MrMetallicMentality get the fuck out

  • @Akalack Stop being a close minded douche-bag, nobody came on here trolling and nobody said anything to you. I have my musical preferences and you have yours, grow up and leave it at that man.

  • @MrMetallicMentality no you fuck you

  • @Akalack Riiigght..okay then.

  • @MrMetallicMentality you fuck you no

  • @MrMetallicMentality YEAH FUCK YOU

  • @MrMetallicMentality Just Ignore it. They are really motor tongues when it comes to their favorite favorite music and individualism. It's all them, and some of you. Lol

What's your favorite type of Metal Genre(s)?

  • @obsessedwgaming I get in to almost all types of metal. I don't really like to categorize. If I like it, I'll listen to it.

  • my fav. song on bleach !

  • Kurt Cobain was saying "Kill Neil Young" in this song, because Neil Young claims to be the "Godfather of Grunge" I like his music, but FUCK NEIL YOUNG and FUCK LABELS..... Kurt was the greatest no matter what!!!!!!!!!

  • Great fucking song!! Bleach deserves more propps!!

  • I think Chad did a GREAT job on the drums?! Imagen.. All the tracks were recorded same day, and re-recorded the next day.. They only kept "Blew" the way they recorded it first time.. Would like to hear the original tracks - they were tuned down as hell! :D

  • legendary kurt,u live forever in our heart..

  • Love this song!

  • This is my favorite Nirvana album.

Because of the hardcore sound it has.

    Fucking rocks yo.

  • @ThatGuyTy91 same here :)

  • I know how he feels. Don't take my alcohol, motherfucker.

  • Give me back my alcohol....

    I´m Very Stoned...

  • @MrDavidSomething dido bro puff puff n passses ouwt

  • Simply brilliant in it's sorrow. (And, yeah, I always thought he was singing "Give me back my Albert Hall", go figure.........) I loved everything this band did. Everything!

  • I sang this song to my girlfriend after she took my alcohol.

  • man I am off to get a beer...fuck being a sober sheep!!!!

  • I JUST JIZED IN MY PANTS!

  • aren't the drums in this song damn catchy??

  • fuck the mainstream

  • always thought he said Gimmie back my Album hoe!

  • Man, i just like all of Nirvana's albums, i cant pick one over another. i will just say, of course, Cobain was an extraordinary songwriter / musician. i think we can all agree on that :)

  • @TheEric1203 I agree with you I don't have a favorite song or album, they all sound good in their own ways.

  • bleach > all other nirvana albums

  • I love Bleach's songs better than those of In Utero and Nevermind in some ways. I think the reason all Nirvana songs are good is because of Kurt--every song that he sings is packed with a helluva amount of fun, nonsensical, Black Flag-ish energy.

    God, what a talented artist.

  • @DieserBenuterIstCool Bleach was the promis that Nevermind delivered. In Utero is an artist who doesn't know anymore who he's supposed to be, but can't help himself still creating some little diamonds. Would have loved to see which direction he was going, but alas...

  • @Yrrats

Yeah, Kurt himself said that he was beginning to lose some of his creative spark towards the end of his life. There is "You Know You're Right" of course and it kicks ass, but it isn't as great as the stuff on "Nevermind," IMO. Overall though, it seemed that as Kurt became more depressed, his songs turned more so darks as well. Maybe it is just my imagination, but I felt that "In Utero" was a little more depressing than the fun, high-energy packed album that was Nevermind.

  • @DieserBenuterIstCool 'You know you're right' to me seems to be one of the saddest songs ever. It's almost a suicidenote. It's 'You know you're right' that gives me the feeling that he was still developing his talents. If it hadn't been for the drugs and the pain... And if they only could have left him alone.

  • Holy hell, this blows every from every one today out of the water. NIRVANA FTW

  • i agree. Nirvana is an amazing band. Kurt was most certainly one of the most talented musicians ever born.

  • @rockableanthony and Americain POET

  • Comment removed

  • @rockableanthony 27 people liked this comment in this exaclty moment. Strange coincidence!!

  • there are so many reasons why this great. now I fail

  • For me:

    In Utero/Bleach (tie)

    Intesticide

    Nevermind

  • its true sometimes all you want isALCOHOL

  • it's known that kurt was disappointed with nevermind's polished production, which explains why 90% of fans say they like nevermind the least. they act like sheep, which kurt despised

  • yeah thats exactly how i am. i liked nevermind, but its still my least favorite album

  • @chinaownsusa It's Nevermind that puts Nirvana in the gallery of timeless, classic music.

  • @chinaownsusa i think all three albums have their merits and are equally awesome. It depends on what mood you're in at the moment... I have songs which I love dearly on all three albums. It's a shame there weren't more of them :( And yeah, when ppl act like they're so 1337 and hardcore and think only they know what real music is, they're no better than the mainstream ppl. TRUE ART can come in many forms.

  • he can hav sum of my beer :)

  • qualidade = 0

  • In my eyes

  • Can someone please just give Kurt Cobain his alcohol back?!?!

  • @Frieza1999 LOLOLOLOL good one!

  • @Frieza1999 xp

  • @Frieza1999 I stole it fair and square.

  • just because he wrote the songs of the top of his head doesnt mean they dont have meaning.

  • Oh please the lyrics are so Fucking clear this is about what other people thought of him

  • @ericerest Don't you think this song is just a bit of moaning towards his girlfriend;-)?

  • Half of this album he wrote in the parking lot outside the studio just before recording. He had the music but not the lyrics to record. And still its Awesome!!!

  • @DanglinSausage I guess it's called talent and/or modern art. Also, being "pissed off" (as he said he was when he wrote this) can make you quite productive.

  • the lyrics he had in bleach were amazing!!

i love his lyrics soo much even if they dont mean anything they mean something too me...thx kurt

  • nostalgia......

  • Yeah, I saw them on this tour in 1989 as a four piece. I LOVED this album. It's still my fave and I'm glad people are catching on.

However, I'm one of those people who think his suicide was a very powerful statement. I respect him for leaving this evil planet.

  • sweet

  • gimme back my alcohol

  • i hate the way you cut the songs off early...don't do that anymore

  • I've always heard the chorus of this song as:

    Give me your

    Give me your love

  • the 20th anniversary of this album will be released on november 3rd :) it comes w/ an exclusive 48 page booklet and bonus live tracks! i can't wait to get it!! :)

  • it is impossible to pick a favorite nirvana album ....but bleach has been my favorite during several parts of my life

  • Bleach is easily my favorite album of their's. It's the grungy-est. As the continued to release albums, I feel like they became progressively poppy-er, which is ok, they are still really great, but I just love the original grunge sound they had.

  • love the fuckin bass in this track!!!

  • GIMME BACK MY ALCOHOL

  • nevermind one of my least favorite albums i still love it i like all nirvanas albums bleach my favorite

  • what video?

  • Need alcohol right now guys. Someone throw a party!

  • gimme back my alcohol

  • the best of nirvana- bleach songs live!!!!!

  • I have 7 of their cd's Or 8 I dk

  • lol all 7 of there 3 or four if u count incesticide

  • nicee

  • THIS SONG RIPS!

  • Most people I know who listen to nirvana only listen to the first half of nevermind up to polly.

  • Haha, yeah, the Nirvana songs that mindless teenagers put on a pedestal as the be-all and end-all to music and which used to prevent me and still prevents a lot of people who would enjoy Nirvana from listening to Nirvana. I often wonder if Kurt Cobain regretted writing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" for that reason. Not that I don't like it, but it's immensely overrated.

  • I agree.

    It seems that the "nevermind"

album is all anyone listens to.

My favorite album is In Utero.

    Maybe Bleach.

  • @sk8acdc yeah your right mines is bleach then utero

  • @Aspenfash899 Hah, shit bro. Almost a year old, my comment.

    CHAD CHANNING, YEAH

  • @jonfender123 :,( I feel sory for them, they have no clue how good nirvana is!

  • @jonfender123 This why most people think Nirvana is "overrated".

  • @jonfender123 ive just downloaded the discography and treating ''Bleach'' as my own personal ''Bible''!!!!!! You so right in fact spot on! Early Nirvana is sweet!

  • @jonfender123 Why is that?

  • @Yrrats I guess it's because people don't bother to look more into what other songs the band has. Also people tend to be trendy and choose not to listen to what the media doesn't present to them. Others simply and honestly don't like the other songs.

  • @jonfender123 That's a pity. I'm a maistream music listener myself (Beatles, Doors, chansons). At first I just liked Unplugged, then I bought Nevermind and listened to the more 'poppy' songs and more and more I started listening to the screamier ones and learned to appreciate those. It's good to learn to like songs you wouldn't listen to automatically yourself. Some songs on In Utero however I still don't like;-)

  • @jonfender123 : 0

  • @jonfender123 i used to be like tht until i was too amazed wen krist's voice came on then it changed my life

  • @jonfender123 i know what you mean, every time i ask, everyones favorite nirvana song is teen spirit or one of the covers like lake of fire... total amateurs....

  • @jonfender123

    i must say i disagree.

but that's ok, we all have our own opinions.

  • @heezysteezy Its not an opinion if everyone he knows listens to nevermind its a fact. If 90% of your friends only listen to nevermind, then 90% only listen to nevermind . How is that an opinion? He didn't say everyones friends only listen to nevermind. How are you going to disagree, do you know all his friends and what nirvana albums they like?

  • @heezysteezy thump'd it up cause you'r polite

  • @jonfender123 Sad,i do too

  • @jonfender123 yep, like my brother

  • In my eyes, I'm not lazy In my face, It's not over In your room, I'm not older In your eyes, I'm not worth it CHORUS: Gimmie back my alcohol(6x) Gimmie back my(2x) Gimme back... Heal a million, Kill a million Peel a million, Feel a million Heal a million, Kill a million
  • good song... insane song

  • 11,000 view! Long live Nirvana....

  • this is the song that made me a nirvana fan for life. not many people like it but I do.

  • Nirvana didn't like Bleach much because Sub-Pop forced them to conform to a single song image.
