So very sad today. I love Amy's music and talent. I'd so hoped she would find happiness outside of addiction whether she sang or not. He talent had given us joy. She deserved some too.

Today I was very saddened to learn of the death of this wonderful singer. Emy had a bright future ahead but this was interrupted by the excessive consumption of drugs. Her voice range, her timbre, her body language, and her emotive qualities doing "Teach Me Tonight" are marvelous. The phrasing is wonderful and it is a total delight to watch how she caresses the microphone with her voice.

She has an indefinable quality that very few have ever had - Billie Holiday, Sinatra, and a very young Judy Garland.

What happens from now on is anybody's guess, but this piece of music is nothing less than genius.
