I applaud you for making this car. Too bad none of the bailout money could go for mass producing something like your car, which was its original intent versus "general operating" costs the big car manufacturers are trying to shift it to. You making something like this shows that it can be done and makes the big car manufactures liars all over again.
to understand that this is NOT an ordinary 3-wheeler! Also, keep in mind this was built from the ground up and is a PROTOTYPE, not a manufactured finished product.
The kit body is all we could get at the time,
and I thought we did pretty good considering we are not fiberglass mechanics. Yes, we would love to see the body upgraded with a custom fit to the chassis, we could use some help. Contributions anyone?
This video is a demonstration of the maneuverability of our auto/cycle. Not having to make a 4 point turn, and making quicker turns results in energy savings, giving you longer range. For more info, go to electricEVette(dot)com.
If you don't mind a Chinese manufacturer, go to kellycontroller (dot) com for that 120-144V controller you're looking for. Actual controllers you can buy now - still not a Zilla, but *those* are back-ordered by 6mo!
I bet I've seen you on the EV list before. I remember an EVWorld article on this car and it only goes like 65 mph or so? You need a Zilla 2k, twin 9" WarP motors mated to a Ford 9" rear end, and a 348V pack of Exide Orbitals in that bitch.
You can follow us on twitter now as electricEVette.

I think the back tires counter rotate against each other, similar to the way wheel chairs move.

I think this is great! Wish I could get one for myself.
As for looks, I'm tired of all the cars on the road looking the same, so this is a welcomed change.
The 3 wheels is not a turn off for me either. I've gotten really spoiled by the tight turning radius of my Volvo station wagon, so that's a plus. :)

A British Bond minicar from post WW11/1960s could turn in its own length too...
