  • holy shit....

  • I noticed in the middle of the video that it was four and a half minutes long. I was going to calculate how many times sped up it was if a whole show is 30 mins long. But I was too mesmerized by his painting that I couldn't do the math.

  • Bob Ross is a painting legend!

  • Amazing Drawer!!

  • That's awesome!

  • Is anyone else amazed at how Bob does this in 4:30, If he wanted to he could make 15 paintings an hour if he really wanted to!!!...wow that is truly talented!!!

  • @kinesismd It's a time lapse. Bob does not paint the whole painting in 4:30

one painting takes about half an houir

  • I use to watch him all the time

  • I need to go practice more that was such an inspiration !!! o.o

  • When he start to paint the pines,,,,, OMG HUMAN PHOTOSHOP BRUSH!

  • Wow, he makes it look so easy but if I tried to do that it would end up looking like crap. Despite how effortlessly he did it the techniques that he uses require a lot of practice. But it still looks like it would be fun to at least try.

  • @jhhwild

It really is easy, I could not do mountains for a long time, but just relaxed and did them my own way. He is a guide on a beautiful trail. You really can do it, he makes it easy because it is. My only problem was that I am lefthanded, and trying to follow him was hard. I just changed the direction of the light to the left. You can paint like him after a few tries, take it from someone who cant paint......watching him, I now can paint.

  • @Unclefliplip Kind of makes me want to try it out.

  • It's amazing how fast and effortlessly he could make paintings. They always looked great too.

  • the things that man could do with a fan brush and a palette knife O.o

  • wow. i could never do this. i lack imagination and the hands of bob ross.

  • It's like he's just gliding his hands over the canvas and everything just willingly falls into place.

  • Everytime he gets out that spatula thing i'm like NOOOO he ruined it... and after a second or two, BAM! Forest. BAM! Hills. BAM! Trees. o0

  • O_o

  • People like this should never die.

  • I'm an artist living in the UK. I've only just found this man (Apologies to those of you who have been following him for years). I was in awe of him when I saw him today, on TV, for the first time. I felt I had to contact him. I have now found out that he died on July 4th. That was my birthday. What a brilliant artist. So good!

  • dear friend, you put an undercoat before painting with acrylic on canvas ?

  • nice job man..

  • félicitations, j'ai contracté une leucémie et je fais de la peinture depuis ce temps, la peinture est un exutoire à la maladie, grâce à vous ,je fais de gros progrès ,merci beaucoup !

  • That waterfall was created in less than half a second.

    Bobb Ross = God.

  • Querido Bob desde que te conoci en Connecticut te quiero muchísimo

  • Everytime he paints something new I think why is he destroying his pic? and then it gets awesome...

  • This guy thought me more then i learned from the Art school.

  • just when im thinking hes ruining it hes actually making it better and blowing my mind

  • what wizardy is this?

  • He was a genius and inspirational!

  • To those of you who want music:

    watch?v=NjIpgRCyK_Y

Lone uses a sample from "The Joy of Painting".

It fits so well with this vid. Enjoy.

  • Meanwhile on earth...

  • Everybody loves Bob Ross.

  • wow just wow

  • Does anyone know what this painting is called?

  • its amazing he painted that entire scene with those nast brushes even better when he gets the new ones

  • RIP. inspired me alot as a poor Ugandan kid growing up.I became the best fine-Arts student in college thanx to u.Vintage, einfach Genial.

  • Loved watching him when I was younger. I was so relaxed at the end of each show. Great post, thanks!

  • wow!! I love it <3

  • unbelievable. i'm painting a lot (art school) but this leaves me speechless

  • that's not a time lapse. that's just fast forward.

  • well . he's unbelievable

  • its alarming how easy he makes it look, he just touches the canvas, oh here's a tree nbd.

  • I see a few people accidentally hit the dislike button, that's ok...just a happy little mistake.

  • Happppy little trees. Just... dab that on there. Oh! There's another happy little tree, he's happy there... look how happy he is.

  • Ich liebe das!

  • Holy shit

  • I blinked and missed the creation of a happy cloud.

  • The funniest video I have seen in quite a while! :)

  • is he dead?

  • @EvilBananasAreCooool Unfortuantly, yes... I will miss him deeply.

  • Dang, so creative

  • he makes it look so easy!!!

  • This is actually how fast he paints. They just slow it down for TV.

  • 3:57 lemme just just paint this whole god-dam tree with 1 brush.

  • Beat the devil out of it.

  • why do his brushes look different?

  • Mr. Ross's famous mountains

  • Extraordinarily, I happen to prefer watch him paint in real time, and not only to hear him, which is also a reason to not fast-forward.

  • fuck spray cans, this is talent!

  • Thanks for posting this.. His videos are hard to find. Great man... RIP Bob. Happy painting and God bless my friends.

  • mountain waterfall Season 5

  • Does anyone know what episode this is?

  • @panicbreakfast The best episode.

  • Time-lapse really lets you experience his talent.

  • The use of the 2 inch brush at the end is epic.

  • where is the sound :(

  • Pure memories....I loved watching Bob Ross when I was kid and even more today....Pure soul, great talent...RIP Bob.
