True DragonBall Z is awesome however, a classic superhero film/cartoon has its own unique aspects to it that makes it so popular. It's the same with DBZ as well. Both are totally awesome (otherwise they wouldn't be so popular) but in different manners.

I have all Superman/Batman comics and can't wait to see this movie on Blue-Ray. The problem is paying $30 for the movie. I will rent it first and then will decide if I want to get. Just got "Wolverine" on Blue-Ray and guess how much I paid? Yep! after taxes more than $30. Can't wait for "The Transformers 2 to come out this year. Dang! I need another job or a richer girlfriend. I just saw the movie last night and even though it's only 62 minutes long in my opinion its the best so far. They tied the arc together perfectly and the action never stops.
So glad they got the old cast back....best voices for the parts...anytime i see a show with where they don't use these voice actors it seems a bit out of place to me.

This movie is terrible, just like the comic book. The ideas are solid, but that's all they are..great ideas with no cohesion or story quality added to it, padded over with Batsn and Supes making coy jokes about themselves in Butch-and-Sundance scenarios.

A big difference between DC and Marvel is that DC uses its biggest characters as leader of the team. Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are the three biggest, and they lead the Justice League. In Marvel, Spiderman Wolverine and Hulk are the biggest, but people hate them. Instead, they let Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor lead the Avengers.

Whether he wasn't a boy scout at first or not, it doesn't change that to the majority of people in the world he is an all-round good guy. Another reason why I like Batman more is because he is human, and he is a symbol not a just a person - that is why there have been more than one Batman (though obviously the first and most famous is Bruce Wayne).
Supes a good man so is Bruce Wayne/ Batman. Wayne is actually a very good man too, I think theres a difference between anti-hero and dark hero. An Anti-hero doesnt necessarily want to be one. But I love Batman as well. Batman and Superman are both tragic heroes. One is an outcast and the other obsessive.

Batman has a tough time of it, precisely because he's human. In the comics even regular thugs have given him problems.

Hope this movie is good. Glad to see Kevin Conroy and Clancy Brown back woulda liked to see George Newbern cuz I watched Jl and JLU and got used to him but I've been watching Conroy since Batman tas and glad to seee him hope this movie isn't rushed.
George Newbern wasn't Superman's voice in STAS, it was Tim Daly. Don't get me wrong, Newbern was pretty good in JL and JLU, even if he was a bit off in his first few episodes... but Tim Daly was much better as Superman's voice in my opinion.
It is still amazing to me that the villian from the original Highlander movie is Lex Luthor lol The voice just suits Lex so perfectly, it puts even Gene Hackman to shame.

Agreed! Even though he was a replacement for Daly because he was working on another television series at the time, Newbern really stepped up as the voice of Superman. I guess when they decided to do this production, they wanted to go back to the basics of Batman and Superman in means of voice talent (in this case, Conroy and Daly and Clancy Brown as Luthor).
i want to see this, i read the comic and i hope they made it just like it. plus they got kunta, i hope his voice acting is good, all these characters, i hope there not in this for 1 sec and thats it. and they have shazam and supes fightin again. shazam better put up a good fight in this one because the last one he seemed like he wasnt worth supes's time. and shazam is suppose to be just as strong as supes maybe more so im waiting to see that fight. this whole film better be good and long i hope.

of course they can never completely replicate McGuiness style, most of his art is almost too static for animation, they had to take some liberties. Otherwise, might was well just make a motion comic of random fight sequences.

A big difference between DC and Marvel is that DC uses its biggest characters as leader of the team. Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are the three biggest, and they lead the Justice League. In Marvel, Spiderman Wolverine and Hulk are the biggest, but people hate them. Instead, they let Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor lead the Avengers.

I am going to have to disagree with those who think Superman is smarter: Yes Supermans villians are "smarter" but that raises the question what is more dangerous? A Smart man with a Winchester rifle and a plan or a psycho with a winchester rifle and a moment? In the end Batman is forced to constantly be a step above all manner of psycho and intelligent villain alike. Keep in mind I have JUST recently come to love and understand Superman though lets be honest Batman is just cool as shit.

Batman is helping because he's a hero and a detective. It helps to have allies.
Also given that Lex is one of the few people that know and have access to kryptonite it helps to have friend when he's put a bounty on your head.

well think of it this way who would win in a battle of brains batman or superman in my opinion batman would win since he has trained his body and pretty much his brain to physical perfection where as superman in the animated series i actually haven't seen him use his brain all that much now im not calling him stupid i just didn't really see him use it that much he mostly uses his super powers to get the job done where as batman does alot of you know riddle solving and stuff.this was really long

how can i put this if you have no light hereos what makes the dark ones so special? If all heroes were dark it would be pretty boring cuz everybody would be the same. Long story short people like variety people like superman and you need the light heroes to make the anti heroes look better and vice vesa

Like how people like Superman more than Batman, it's my preference when i say that Anti-Heroes > Heroes. There is nothing wrong with liking superman, I'm just giving my opinion, which should be something someone expects at some point, if you don't then just dont comment right? I guess i have more in common with dark heroes. You're right, if all heroes were dark then it would be boring. I'm just saying that Batman (a dark hero) is better than superman (a light hero). :)

Whether he wasn't a boy scout at first or not, it doesn't change that to the majority of people in the world he is an all-round good guy. Another reason why I like Batman more is because he is human, and he is a symbol not a just a person - that is why there have been more than one Batman (though obviously the first and most famous is Bruce Wayne).

Supes a good man so is Bruce Wayne/ Batman. Wayne is actually a very good man too, I think theres a difference between anti-hero and dark hero. An Anti-hero doesnt necessarily want to be one. But I love Batman as well. Batman and Superman are both tragic heroes. One is an outcast and the other obsessive.

40s, Jack Kirbys, John Byrnes versions are great) The Return of Superman too. Theyre fictional characters, you can do whatever you want with them. Supes isnt suppose to be a boy scout cause is a reporter, (journalists are usually intelligent, analytical and quite skeptical). He shouldnt be naïve. Thats the biggest mistake DC has done w/ Superman on many occasions.

No. Superman has both more powerful and smarter villains. Go through Superman's rogues gallery. Who is smarter than Brainiac or Darkseid in Batman's rogues gallery?
Batman has a tough time of it, precisely because he's human. In the comics even regular thugs have given him problems.
That's not a poor reflection on Batman its just that he's not powerful.
Superman is more powerful and thus has more powerful villains.

Hope this movie is good. Glad to see Kevin Conroy and Clancy Brown back woulda liked to see George Newbern cuz I watched Jl and JLU and got used to him but I've been watching Conroy since Batman tas and glad to seee him hope this movie isn't rushed.

George Newbern wasn't Superman's voice in STAS, it was Tim Daly. Don't get me wrong, Newbern was pretty good in JL and JLU, even if he was a bit off in his first few episodes... but Tim Daly was much better as Superman's voice in my opinion.

Because it's mainly about Luthor's dream of ruining and defeating Superman. It's mainly their story .Batman there to help and look cool and be a bad ass. But all the Batman villians you mentioned apart from Mad Hatter are in the all-time best comic villians, the highest being The Joker at number 1!!!!!

For the best villians of all time list, Batman villians have the lead, Spider-man being second and Superman being third. But Superman has more villians in the top ten being Darkseid, Lex Luthor, Brainiac and Metallo.

Agreed! Even though he was a replacement for Daly because he was working on another television series at the time, Newbern really stepped up as the voice of Superman. I guess when they decided to do this production, they wanted to go back to the basics of Batman and Superman in means of voice talent (in this case, Conroy and Daly and Clancy Brown as Luthor).

i want to see this, i read the comic and i hope they made it just like it. plus they got kunta, i hope his voice acting is good, all these characters, i hope there not in this for 1 sec and thats it. and they have shazam and supes fightin again. shazam better put up a good fight in this one because the last one he seemed like he wasnt worth supes's time. and shazam is suppose to be just as strong as supes maybe more so im waiting to see that fight. this whole film better be good and long i hope.

i know it seems that way, but im just excited and i just dont want this potentially good movie to be a dissapointment. i really like when supes and bats team up and especially for this movie to be based on the SUPERMAN/BATMAN comic series, i just dont want it to be garbage. i new for a good while that they were in production for this film, but to see the first look and whos going to be on it, thats pretty cool. and ironically am not really a BIG fan of DC ! haha!

of course they can never completely replicate McGuiness style, most of his art is almost too static for animation, they had to take some liberties. Otherwise, might was well just make a motion comic of random fight sequences.
