Dear me, there is so much conflict over religion. In any case, nobody should be arguing over Muslim, atheism or Christianity on here. This film, especially as it's in it's mother tongue is something not to be tarnished by people with opposing beliefs on YouTube.
@xXDucky94 Yeah, only this isn't a Disney movie. It's Dreamworks. And some versions of Disney or Dreamworks movies are better in another tongue rather than the original. But the original is always good. =)
Anyway, the Hebrew version of this song isn't bad. Rhythm is a little off but it's still enjoyable.
@amindofmyown35 Yeah I realized as soon as I typed it, it wasn't disney. but I was too lazy to delete it and re-write it :P I knew someone would correct me though~
@TheFirstChadJ the original languge of the film is english. it is better in hebrew because where they took the story was from the bible. the hebrew bible. which is incredibbly hard and stupid to translate.
@midleground Ever hear of the Soviet Union? They were atheists and they murdered more people than just about any other "relisious" or political group in history, including the Nazis.
stop flaming each other and just enjoy the video. Go to a forum if you want to argue but you are ruining the comments section of this video with your pointless religious debates.
@jaguar4u2 Jaguar, I've decided to consider you a troll, because I really don't want to think that you actually mean the pure idioticy you post. But if you are serious (and thus embarrassing the human race), I suggest a bit of research.
@jaguar4u2 Pharaoh was warned what would happen if he didn't let the Hebrews go, and he ignored the warning, so it's all on Pharaoh.
God isn't made up, and He is in fact Justice. Just because you don't like justice doesn't make it unjust.
But you have a lot of research and thinking to do, so it would indeed be unfair of me to try and explain these matters to you. Do some reading and inquiring.
I'd love to learn Hebrew, but I don't know if I could make the "ch" sound. It sounds like I'd have to have spit in the back of my throat all the time. Is it as hard as it sounds?
@JeromeViolist lol not actually it isn't. I have been studying hebrew since I was about 6. Sometimes when you learn a language from a young age, it's easier to make the sounds but even older you can do it with practice =] my mother is learning it and she is in her 50's so anyone can do it! I wish you luck!
@JeromeViolist I am happy that we dutch have that sound in our own language. good luck with learning to create it. Funny to see Ramses sing hebrew btw
@JeromeViolist You'll learn to do it! I've taken three years of Hebrew in college and I really love it. It's such a neat language to know, and so pretty! בהצלחה!
@JeromeViolist Not at all. True, I have nearly twenty years of practice, but I don't think it's all that difficult to articulate. So: my suggestion would be to contract your throat and then force a "h" out. "Hanuka" is a common practice word. (Fun fact: there are actually two different "ch"s in Hebrew, though over the centuries they've combined into one. And "Hanuka" actually begins with that mostly-lost sound.)
I'm sorry, jaguar4u2 is it? But where are you getting the idea that the Bible ever said the world was flat? Please enlighten us.
How did he make a billion stars you ask? Because he made his wonders shine onto the sky.
He needed 6 days to create the earth? He actually needed one day to create the earth the other 5 was for everything else. May I remind you that although to God it may have been 6 days. A day to him is like a millennia to us. Science and Religion can exist in harmony.
@rcc1111 They can reside perfectly in harmony. If you did some research you would know that "days" is really just a word for a specific period of time.
And you also have to see what the book was written for. It was written to a bunch of probably illiterate people who just came from slavery. Going into the actual details of the creation would take pages, and would probably confuse many of todays brilliant scholars, and most would be seen as insane to the people of that time
@jaguar4u2 Please shut up. And in answer to how G-d managed to create all of those stars in one day:
Firstly, some commentators postulate that those days were not days as we know them, but very long periods of time--millions of years.
Secondly, if you don't want to accept outside sources: He's G-d, for heaven's sake (o pun intended)! In which case He is perfectly capable of doing some miracles.
@jaguar4u2 Yet you also have a comment posted (at the time of this writing) nine minutes ago. And even if that message had been posted two years ago, I could hardly let all your spewing and intolerance go unanswered. I read what you have to say about Islam. You disgust me.
@jaguar4u2 I'm Jewish. And female, for the record.
Do I approve terrorism and abuse? No. But I do not believe that any religion deserves to be censured by someone who clearly has little to no knowledge of it.
Please indicate which part of monotheistic Islam involves paganism.
@jaguar4u2 Apparently you don't know what paganism is...
And as for being an Islamophile: intellectually, yes. I love to learn about other religions. As for loving every Muslim I come across just because of what they believe? No. Religion has next to nothing to do with my opinions of people.
You, for instance, I am growing to dislike severely, and I don't even know what religion you follow--if any. Some kind of agnostic, judging by your comments? Whatever.
@jaguar4u2 (making note) Not a native English speaker, check.
So you are opposed to researching things to find out what they're really about. A pity. That's what is called willful ignorance, and that's worse than passive ignorance. Someone who doesn't know something and then finds out about it is no longer ignorant. Someone who refuses to find out about things keeps himself ignorant.
@jaguar4u2 It breaks my heart to read your comment; someone so full of hatred must live a very sad life. I truly hope that you will accept God soon. God never sanctioned the Inquisition or the worse aspects of the Crusades, both of which I'm sure you think somehow speak against God. But that's like blaming the people who set speed limits for the people who break them.
And God is waiting for me after death. He'd like to welcome you, too.
@jaguar4u2 Point out where I'm being hypocritical. Don't just say that I am, show me an explicit example.
God doesn't hate murderers and liars, he hates murder and lies, but wants those who commit them to repent so He can forgive them.
God awaits for all His children-- and you are one of them. Jesus suffered the pains of Hell on the cross so that you wouldn't have to. The gift is yours if you only will accept it. You see, God doesn't want us to go to Hell, that's why He gave us a way out.
@jaguar4u2 No, God is the Almighty Sovereign of Creation according to the Bible.
My faith is the result of my (a) my upbringing and (b) my research and seeing that no other system (certainly not atheism) answered the basic questions of humanity. Read "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis.
God sanctions neither murder (and I've already addressed that) nor hatred, and as for racism? Now, that is funny, considering that people of every race fill the Christian Church.
@jaguar4u2 "Nice and cute?" You've never read "Peter Pan," have you?
If you're an atheist, what's all this talk about evil? According to atheism, there's no God, and therefore no source of right to let us know what's wrong, no-one to whom we are accountable for our actions. Upon what do you base your morals and your concept of "good?"
@Zeck180 The thing is, I don't want anyone ending up in Hell, and far more importantly, God doesn't want anyone ending up in Hell; that's why he provided all of us a way out, and why He placed me where I could reveal the truth to jaguar4u2.
To be sure, it's probably reached the point where, having done that, I should probably shake the dust of my feet off on his doorstep, as he's pretty much just repeating himself these days.
@jaguar4u2 I, an agnostic, would love to argue with you about this, but I'd hate to ruin my experience of such a wonderful song, so I'm going to say that you should give up this fight before you make an even bigger idiot of yourself. If all you're going to do is yell about how Christianity is soooo wrong, making your anger obvious, no one is going to take you seriously. You really just sound like a pissed off prick rather than a knowleadgable human being. Just saying.
@victorianvampstudios I know what you meant. In most cases, the violence and murder is brought about not by a system itself, but by people misusing or hiding behind a system and using it as an excuse for acts that they themselves mean to commit.
Any murderer who murders for any reason has problems.
@MaskedMan66 THAT'S IT! THAT'S EXACTLY IT! That is exactly what that ignorant, bitter guy jaguar4u2 can't get past his thick skull! It's the PEOPLE who twist the system for their own selfishess like in the Crusades, Inquasition, Salem witch trials and all the other horrible cases. I have read his comments, and I don't think any information could sway a stubborn mind like his, blinded by ignorance, bitterness and hatred. Sad really. :'(
And it's worth mentioning that the earliest Crusade, the initial one to get the Muslims out of Jerusalem, was successful. It's only when the people going on the Crusades started doing it for personal gain that things went south. And it's well worth mentioning that the Inquisition and the Salem Witch Trials were brought to their respective ends by Christians who saw the horror and injustice implicit in those things.
@MaskedMan66 It's dirt easy to dismiss the failings of fellow brothers of the faith and disown them if you call them heretics. Then I wonder which denomination speaks the truth? A lot of believers are not consciously horrible, their life experiences beget their own double standards and emotions (which are praised about in the faith), and these differences make clashes. People back then knew far more theology than you did, and you dissing them now won't make you appear smarter and more pious.
@CrabTastingMan Considering that much more theology (of varying quality, to be sure) has been written since those days, it's erroneous to say that they knew "more."
Could you please give an example of what you mean by someone's double standards and emotions being "praised about?" Normally, subjectivism is strongly discouraged where the objective will of God is concerned.
@MaskedMan66 " Inquisition and the Salem Witch Trials were brought to their respective ends by Christians who saw the horror and injustice implicit in those things."
That's like saying I should think true of the religion of just anyone who solves problems. If a passing Hinduist kicked out some corrupt Hindu governors, should that make that religion noteworthy? There are people in the world who will just stand against problems because they have the guts.
@CrabTastingMan The problem that needed solving as regards the trials in Salem was a problem of people not adhering to the tenets of their faith, and it was the father-and-son team of preachers Increase and Cotton Mather who brought right observation of Christianity back into play.
@bh5496 No, things are not black and white like that. Rarely has anyone felt they are twisting beliefs. They were more fervent in the religion than you ever was. They whole-heartedly feel what they did was for their god, but not all things worked out for the better. You seem to think every Christian who fucked up was greedy. No. Just look at some of them bastards on TV today, you think they are selfish? They feel they are doing their gods work and are happy to be its slave.
@CrabTastingMan It is easy and it isn't. God gave us a solid set of rules (worship God only, honor your parents, don't murder, stay faithful to your spouse, etc.), and in the main it's easy to see where people are flouting the rules. Where it gets tough is in convincing someone that their subjective feelings are in opposition to God's objective will, such as the Catholic woman who thinks she should be a priest, not because she's truly called, but because she wants it.
@MaskedMan66 I agree with almost everything you said- EXCEPT: given that of course God's objective will should not be argued with, wouldn't it indeed be a powerful tool to be able convince someone that your subjective will is really God's objective one? This is an unfortunate truth: that almost every authority in Earth's history has claimed divine right, and yet clearly not all of them were speaking the Truth. so--how do you sort out the Liars? that is the real question.
@DarthRaukrist Simple: you consult the Scriptures. It's pretty easy to see where certain human authorities claiming to be doing God's will have in fact been operating in opposition to it. I will make one example: the oft-criticized Crusaders (or were you expecting the Spanish Inquisition?). While in the first push you did have a case of people asking the Pope to drive out the invading Moslems, and the armies did just that, God blessed their efforts.
@DarthRaukrist So that lot were doing God's will, at least as far as defending the oppressed. But successive Crusades were not successful because that's when you got people going to war for personal gain and with the intention of wiping out the very people the First Crusade were sent to defend. God did not bless their efforts.
@MaskedMan66 Ah...well, that's ONE example of course. And a rather easy one, isn't it? Most people would say God isn't in favor of genocide. But how about a trickier one? Many different religious leaders, all of whom are very good at Bible quoting, say things which are simply mutually exclusive to each other. SOMEBODY'S got to be wrong, and yet- they're all using the Bible. Is there another tool you can use if the Bible seems insufficient? Or do you just have to guess and pray?
@MaskedMan66 harder to answer than it appears, the question is. (Yoda kicketh much butt. Star Wars is not quite Christian, but it has some very good stuff in it anyways if you sort them out)
@DarthRaukrist "Star Wars" has more "eastern" elements about it than Christian, though of course the knowledge that humans are immortal is not news to the Christian.
@MaskedMan66 he can't point out where you've been hypocritical because he just spews out any bullcrap that comes into his mind. those years of bible study, 12 was it?, didn't seem to do him much good.
@jaguar4u2 That's another thing: find me where in the Bible (book, chapter, and verse) it says that the earth is flat. I would point out that science taught the same until a Greek mathematician figured out it was round, and the entire civilized world (including Israel) accepted it.
my favorite is the english and japanese versions.. usually I don't really like japanese dub, but for the exception of lion king and the prince of Egypt. The hebrew version is cool though, makes it feels more authentic.
Christ prayed constantly and told His followers to pray. And He made it very clear that there are things we are not to do, such as murder, steal, fornicate. It's all there in His book.
@midleground Only the extremists, darling. I'm a silent worshiper; I don't go around asking people to go to bible study with me (hell, i don't even go to bible study)
But my mother is religious obsessed in the sense that she wants the best for me, and she believes that that means going to church at least once a month. Are people like that really going to kill us all?
Please save the over-dramatic comments for another video.
@jaguar4u2 wait a sec now, is that some kind of joke!? how in the world could you claim you're Christian when you rant on about how God isn't real, the Bible is fantasy, and people who follow religion are ignorant. THAT MAKES NO SENSE, you can't be athiest and follow a religion, it's like saying that you were loyal to a king but then rant how you hate him and join the revolutionaries with every intent of overthrowing him.
Lovely song and dub. But the background chorus doesn't quite match the tune, which is a pity. Wonderful to hear this in the language it's supposed to be in.
first off, let me say this song is beautiful. i love it, i know its the native language but i have never heard it in hebrew before, only english. so i like it, its very pretty.
SHUT UP! nobody wants to hear you rambling on, debating about religion. believe what you want, i don't judge. but honestly, stop arguing over petty things, be quiet, sit down, and enjoy the frickin video!!
@cooperluver5543 Friend, the belief by which one lives one's life is not "petty." On the other hand, a song from a movie, however enjoyable or stirring, is ultimately unimportant.
@MaskedMan66 alright all i meant was the arguement does not belong here. If you want to discuss it, go to a religion forum or something, but please leave it off youtube. I, and many others im sure, are sick of going to videos and seeing pages and pages of comments that have nothing to do with the video. Just drop it, or go somewhere else.
@cooperluver5543 You don't actually have to read those "pages and pages," you know. If you just want to watch the video, just watch the video. A lot of people say "you shouldn't talk about anything but the video," but really, is that the way human discourse works? No. Neither is it a rule here or anywhere else.
@cooperluver5543 Or someone who is reading it for the first time four days ago.
This silly idea that comments go stale after a bit and therefore shouldn't be touched is another thing that is assumed by some, but patently untrue. Besides, it got a reaction, didn't it? You answered! :-)
The 10 plages of Egypt were the plages that represented each god that they worshipped. They worshipped the flies, the Egyptains did not killed any flies, and also they worshipped the rain, also the frogs. They were adulterious people that fornicated even though they were married and have a child with that woman, and then they took their first born to sacrificed the child to their gods.God almighty sent them these plages according to each god that they worshipped. Great video!!!
but the bible didn't say anything about red sand. it says "blood", and i think people knew to notice between blood and sand. and where this red sand came from? is this a known acologycal event?!
and the frogs were everywhere. in the houses, in the streets, in the ovens, in the beds... when did something like that happened?
and the period was short, only a few weaks. im not learning anything from the movie, only from the holy text.
wait a minute, you've just said there was a meteor shower, and red sand, and frogs and solar eclipse. now you say these things actually didn't happen?!

Dear me, there is so much conflict over religion. In any case, nobody should be arguing over Muslim, atheism or Christianity on here. This film, especially as it's in it's mother tongue is something not to be tarnished by people with opposing beliefs on YouTube.
MorganRae18 7 months ago 79
@MorganRae18 Actually the movie's mother language is english.
But I guess you meant the original Exodus story. then you're right.

@stereomaxout Every Disney movie in its proper language is so much better :D
xXDucky94 6 months ago
@xXDucky94 Yeah, only this isn't a Disney movie. It's Dreamworks. And some versions of Disney or Dreamworks movies are better in another tongue rather than the original. But the original is always good. =)
Anyway, the Hebrew version of this song isn't bad. Rhythm is a little off but it's still enjoyable.

I'd love to learn Hebrew, but I don't know if I could make the "ch" sound. It sounds like I'd have to have spit in the back of my throat all the time. Is it as hard as it sounds?
JeromeViolist 10 months ago
@JeromeViolist lol not actually it isn't. I have been studying hebrew since I was about 6. Sometimes when you learn a language from a young age, it's easier to make the sounds but even older you can do it with practice =] my mother is learning it and she is in her 50's so anyone can do it! I wish you luck!
Vampiress02 10 months ago
@JeromeViolist I am happy that we dutch have that sound in our own language. good luck with learning to create it. Funny to see Ramses sing hebrew btw
Psycho69People 10 months ago
@JeromeViolist You'll learn to do it! I've taken three years of Hebrew in college and I really love it. It's such a neat language to know, and so pretty! בהצלחה!
JeanPoirier 10 months ago
@JeromeViolist It takes a lot of practice but it's not that hard once you get the hang of it.
KikaitoGaming 10 months ago
@JeromeViolist Not at all. True, I have nearly twenty years of practice, but I don't think it's all that difficult to articulate. So: my suggestion would be to contract your throat and then force a "h" out. "Hanuka" is a common practice word. (Fun fact: there are actually two different "ch"s in Hebrew, though over the centuries they've combined into one. And "Hanuka" actually begins with that mostly-lost sound.)
durendal314 9 months ago
@durendal314 Thanks for that! It took a bit of practice, but I can get Hanuka out right, or pretty close I think. That was really helpful!

Science and Religion can exist in harmony.
rcc1111 11 months ago
@rcc1111 They can reside perfectly in harmony. If you did some research you would know that "days" is really just a word for a specific period of time.
And you also have to see what the book was written for. It was written to a bunch of probably illiterate people who just came from slavery. Going into the actual details of the creation would take pages, and would probably confuse many of todays brilliant scholars, and most would be seen as insane to the people of that time
TylerG1237 10 months ago
@TylerG1237 I believe I said that they CAN exist in harmony. No need to get defensive

jaguar4u2 11 months ago
@jaguar4u2 Please shut up. And in answer to how G-d managed to create all of those stars in one day:
Firstly, some commentators postulate that those days were not days as we know them, but very long periods of time--millions of years.
Secondly, if you don't want to accept outside sources: He's G-d, for heaven's sake (o pun intended)! In which case He is perfectly capable of doing some miracles.

You see, God doesn't want us to go to Hell, that's why He gave us a way out.

jaguar4u2 9 months ago

MaskedMan66 9 months ago
@MaskedMan66 I suggest you leave the atheist alone, let them find out come judgement day.
Zeck180 9 months ago
@Zeck180 The thing is, I don't want anyone ending up in Hell, and far more importantly, God doesn't want anyone ending up in Hell; that's why he provided all of us a way out, and why He placed me where I could reveal the truth to jaguar4u2.
To be sure, it's probably reached the point where, having done that, I should probably shake the dust of my feet off on his doorstep, as he's pretty much just repeating himself these days.
MaskedMan66 9 months ago
@jaguar4u2
Actually, every system is responsible for war. War comes from more than one side.
And I'm pretty sure that if somebody is going to murder somebody, they don't decide to murder somebody because they're Christian.
Again, everybody can hate.
And as I recall, racism is prevalent because every single group of person wants to believe that they're better. Again, REGARDLESS OF RELIGION.
And this is coming from an agnostic.
Grow a brain, dude.

jaguar4u2 9 months ago
@jaguar4u2 I, an agnostic, would love to argue with you about this, but I'd hate to ruin my experience of such a wonderful song, so I'm going to say that you should give up this fight before you make an even bigger idiot of yourself. If all you're going to do is yell about how Christianity is soooo wrong, making your anger obvious, no one is going to take you seriously. You really just sound like a pissed off prick rather than a knowleadgable human being. Just saying.
LesMis931 9 months ago
@victorianvampstudios I agree with nearly everything you said, but for two things.
1) People created war, not any system.
2) There are people who target Christians for murder, just as there are people who target (name your ethnic or social group) for murder.
MaskedMan66 9 months ago
@MaskedMan66
When I said 'system', I meant culture/religion/etc.
And of course, but usually those kinds of mass murders are done by a mentally unstable person or some sort of terrorist.
victorianvampstudios 9 months ago
@victorianvampstudios I know what you meant. In most cases, the violence and murder is brought about not by a system itself, but by people misusing or hiding behind a system and using it as an excuse for acts that they themselves mean to commit.
Any murderer who murders for any reason has problems.
MaskedMan66 9 months ago
@MaskedMan66 THAT'S IT! THAT'S EXACTLY IT! That is exactly what that ignorant, bitter guy jaguar4u2 can't get past his thick skull! It's the PEOPLE who twist the system for their own selfishess like in the Crusades, Inquasition, Salem witch trials and all the other horrible cases. I have read his comments, and I don't think any information could sway a stubborn mind like his, blinded by ignorance, bitterness and hatred. Sad really. :'(
bh5496 8 months ago
@bh5496 Thank you; I'm glad someone gets it.
MaskedMan66 8 months ago
@MaskedMan66 It's dirt easy to dismiss the failings of fellow brothers of the faith and disown them if you call them heretics. Then I wonder which denomination speaks the truth? A lot of believers are not consciously horrible, their life experiences beget their own double standards and emotions (which are praised about in the faith), and these differences make clashes. People back then knew far more theology than you did, and you dissing them now won't make you appear smarter and more pious.
CrabTastingMan 8 months ago
@CrabTastingMan Considering that much more theology (of varying quality, to be sure) has been written since those days, it's erroneous to say that they knew "more."
Could you please give an example of what you mean by someone's double standards and emotions being "praised about?" Normally, subjectivism is strongly discouraged where the objective will of God is concerned.
MaskedMan66 8 months ago
@MaskedMan66 " Inquisition and the Salem Witch Trials were brought to their respective ends by Christians who saw the horror and injustice implicit in those things."
That's like saying I should think true of the religion of just anyone who solves problems. If a passing Hinduist kicked out some corrupt Hindu governors, should that make that religion noteworthy? There are people in the world who will just stand against problems because they have the guts.
CrabTastingMan 8 months ago
@CrabTastingMan The problem that needed solving as regards the trials in Salem was a problem of people not adhering to the tenets of their faith, and it was the father-and-son team of preachers Increase and Cotton Mather who brought right observation of Christianity back into play.
MaskedMan66 8 months ago
@bh5496 No, things are not black and white like that. Rarely has anyone felt they are twisting beliefs. They were more fervent in the religion than you ever was. They whole-heartedly feel what they did was for their god, but not all things worked out for the better. You seem to think every Christian who fucked up was greedy. No. Just look at some of them bastards on TV today, you think they are selfish? They feel they are doing their gods work and are happy to be its slave.
CrabTastingMan 8 months ago
@CrabTastingMan It is easy and it isn't. God gave us a solid set of rules (worship God only, honor your parents, don't murder, stay faithful to your spouse, etc.), and in the main it's easy to see where people are flouting the rules. Where it gets tough is in convincing someone that their subjective feelings are in opposition to God's objective will, such as the Catholic woman who thinks she should be a priest, not because she's truly called, but because she wants it.
MaskedMan66 8 months ago
@MaskedMan66 I agree with almost everything you said- EXCEPT: given that of course God's objective will should not be argued with, wouldn't it indeed be a powerful tool to be able convince someone that your subjective will is really God's objective one? This is an unfortunate truth: that almost every authority in Earth's history has claimed divine right, and yet clearly not all of them were speaking the Truth. so--how do you sort out the Liars? that is the real question.
DarthRaukrist 7 months ago
@DarthRaukrist Simple: you consult the Scriptures. It's pretty easy to see where certain human authorities claiming to be doing God's will have in fact been operating in opposition to it. I will make one example: the oft-criticized Crusaders (or were you expecting the Spanish Inquisition?). While in the first push you did have a case of people asking the Pope to drive out the invading Moslems, and the armies did just that, God blessed their efforts.
(continued)
MaskedMan66 7 months ago
@DarthRaukrist So that lot were doing God's will, at least as far as defending the oppressed. But successive Crusades were not successful because that's when you got people going to war for personal gain and with the intention of wiping out the very people the First Crusade were sent to defend. God did not bless their efforts.
MaskedMan66 7 months ago
@MaskedMan66 Ah...well, that's ONE example of course. And a rather easy one, isn't it? Most people would say God isn't in favor of genocide. But how about a trickier one? Many different religious leaders, all of whom are very good at Bible quoting, say things which are simply mutually exclusive to each other. SOMEBODY'S got to be wrong, and yet- they're all using the Bible. Is there another tool you can use if the Bible seems insufficient? Or do you just have to guess and pray?
DarthRaukrist 7 months ago
@DarthRaukrist Some may be using the Bible, the others are misusing it. Give us an example of what you mean.
MaskedMan66 7 months ago
@MaskedMan66 harder to answer than it appears, the question is. (Yoda kicketh much butt. Star Wars is not quite Christian, but it has some very good stuff in it anyways if you sort them out)
DarthRaukrist 7 months ago
@DarthRaukrist "Star Wars" has more "eastern" elements about it than Christian, though of course the knowledge that humans are immortal is not news to the Christian.
MaskedMan66 7 months ago
@MaskedMan66 he can't point out where you've been hypocritical because he just spews out any bullcrap that comes into his mind. those years of bible study, 12 was it?, didn't seem to do him much good.
bh5496 8 months ago
@jaguar4u2 That's another thing: find me where in the Bible (book, chapter, and verse) it says that the earth is flat. I would point out that science taught the same until a Greek mathematician figured out it was round, and the entire civilized world (including Israel) accepted it.

Just drop it, or go somewhere else.
cooperluver5543 11 months ago
@cooperluver5543 You don't actually have to read those "pages and pages," you know. If you just want to watch the video, just watch the video. A lot of people say "you shouldn't talk about anything but the video," but really, is that the way human discourse works? No. Neither is it a rule here or anywhere else.

@MaskedMan66 also, who responds to a comment that was written over 5 months ago? someone with too much time on their hands.
cooperluver5543 11 months ago

And God stretched forth his hand (Moon) toward heaven (Sun) and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt
Thats Probably a Solar Eclipse
"Epic"!
Hail is probably a Meteor Shower, or Fireball storm

@jaguar4u2
the timing has an explanation too?
FullySoul 1 year ago
@FullySoul
timing? what do you mean?
jaguar4u2 1 year ago
@jaguar4u2
i mean, ok, the hail was a meteor shower and the darkness was a solar eclipse.
but why this eclips happened only when Moses intended to do it?
and why the meteors came only when Moses wanted them to come?
why all these 10 plegues came one after the other in such a short time?

Red sand poisened the Nile, and it became red and disgusting, the fish Died, and the frogs came out
who said it was in a short period? in Prince of egypt they make it this way to speed things up and to make it more cool!
any Astronom could Discover Astronomic event that are about to happen, and use his knowledge to scare the Ignorant Believers.
why the Religious people are so Logical in Isues like this,
But when it comes to their Fantasy religion there is no logic!
jaguar4u2 1 year ago
@jaguar4u2
but the bible didn't say anything about red sand. it says "blood", and i think people knew to notice between blood and sand. and where this red sand came from? is this a known acologycal event?!
and the frogs were everywhere. in the houses, in the streets, in the ovens, in the beds... when did something like that happened?
and the period was short, only a few weaks. im not learning anything from the movie, only from the holy text.

@FullySoul
Dude, there was a time when people thought than it is stormy,
it means the Gods are fighting
now we know the truth
Bible is a Mix of some actuall events, pure Imagination, fantasy, Propoganda, stretched truth and points of view, of many authors,
you cant blaim humans for believing in it, the Church believed the World is flat, that there is no Continent like America,
dude it is so Obivious that this is Ancient mythology!
not reality
