No such thing as the best kitplane. It all depends on you and the mission. For me...The "money is no object" speedster is the Lancair Legacy. The "carry anything anywhere" winner is the Bearhawk. And the "I have no money but I want a plane" winner is the Legal Eagle. Although that one is scratch built. There is no such thing as a cheep kitplane.
EXC. VID!! I have zero talent when it comes to fabrication, it's cool to see someone with it make something look so simple. It is allways easy to spot good work. It is clean. was this your first build or have you done others. what is the best kit plane in your opinion? THANKS
that's the best damn video I've seen that explains how to make those aluminum ribs. People doing training videos could learn a lot from this simple video. Great job.
i use to work at Money Aircraft company were i ran the heat treat tank and also hyrdo formed bluck heads and fire walls.. My only question is..... are these heat treated? If done my share of forming metal.. haha
@jamestexas244 Long time passed since you commented here. The metal is aluminum, which will get weaker if heat treated, but if cooled, will get stronger. 2024 is strong enough for this job and won't need treatment.
Great video!!!! Keep them coming
