Jack, thank you for your comment. My Jeep was very well prepared and had all the skid plates fitted that protected the vehicle. She did not suffer ANY damage. It was driven carefully and with respect.
@j33per I have an unusual attitude toward my vehicles; to me they are like old friends. One of them, my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was suddenly "sick" a week ago. I thought I blew the tranny when it wouldn't go above 2nd gear. I parked it on a public street and left it there for three days. When I went back again it started right up and has run fine ever since. A good old workhorse that just keeps on going.
I guess that with anything that can even remotely be called a "sport" there's a challenge involved that some people like. But I've never understood the desire to buy a nice new vehicle and then take it out and destroy it by bouncing it unnecessarily over boulders in the boonies. If you don't abuse it this way, that Jeep will get you through snowstorms, blizzards and anyplace that any reasonable person would want to go. Why drag it over this god-forsaken boulder field just for the hell-of-it?
@noblinger Ah, your problem is obvious but, have no fear, there is still hope for people like you. Recent advances in medical science may soon make it possible for you to have your head surgically removed from your ass. Have a nice day !
YAY wentworth springs entrance. that section starting at the end of part 1 and starting part 2 is tough section. It is good seeing people run this part. We always run the rubicon entering wentworth springs

Nothing handles the Rubicon like a Jeep! They should call it the "Jeep Trail" or something!
stewhansens 1 year ago
@stewhansens Or just name a Jeep after the "Rubicon". lol
TehBrownBomber 1 year ago
@stewhansens Oh, maybe that's why it was so easy taking 5 stock H2s & 3 stock H3s on the Rubicon.

@CRZYCalindian the whining is the winch
TheLohughes 1 year ago
@CRZYCalindian Most likely its the power steering pump. Mine whines like crazy when its under a lot of strain turning against rocks, etc.

your spotters need to go back to school and actually put some effort into helping. That JK never should have required winching with the right line.
