play it PROPERLY this is a pure genius piece of music by Bach but it changes key. Wow they can play the first half woopy! and we all watch this and think ok. If you are going to copy a master do it right!!!!!!!!
Sincerely, for my own education, I'm intrigued by what you mean by the phrase "decent intonation". As a 'non-cognoscento' with regard to music and especially 'classical' music I'm nonplussed as to whether this is a negative or positive comment. The recording is dubious but that's not what you meant and the lack of a question mark indicates a rhetorical statement rather than an interrogative. Clarification - please...
Intonation is the ability of a musician to hit the note they intend to hit. Baroque groups often sound out of tune because they have picked a non-standard tuning in order to be more "authentic"; however, given the number of completely wrong notes in this recording, I think the performers here are just sloppy.
Thank you for your elucidation. To my untrained ear it sounded good, great even - but the music itself (I mean the score) is so emotionally moving that perhaps one's objectivity is compromised. This I guess is the disparity in perception between the cold, dispassionate critic and the aficionado. Had I gone to this concert I would have been absolutely happy with what I had heard and witnessed. Thank you again.
I'm sorry but I don't like it. There is no interpretation (only tecnique), a kind of individualism that is not the intent of a concert for "two violins"! I can ear also some resounding false notes. It's a group of sounds that are not the divine aim of every Bach's work. It's my opinion...

Too much interpretationism destroys the integrity of the composition. Job of the player/performer is ONLY to present composers work. As great Richter said:"The interpreter is really an executant, carrying out the composer's intentions to the letter. He doesn't add anything that isn't already in the work."
Your performance gives the me the goose bumps! This was magnificent... truly amazing... very lovely! Thanks soo much I really enjoy this... Bach rocks my world!!!

A Grapelliket is, megpróbálhatsz énekelni, táncolni is mellé!

This is fine, if you don't mind metal strings and heavy vibrato.
You have modern expectations of a concert performance, and you expect a live performance to have the engineered perfection of a recording.
In Bach's time, there was no quest for a definitive or personal "interpretation." There was no "divine aim."
It would have been more like what we'd call a "reading."
But we hear the same pieces again and again in recordings and concerts, so our expectations are higher.
