I obviously didn't take him for granted but it never dawned on me how I was the only one practically in my neighborhood that had a Dad until he passed and all my friends would speak on their absent fathers, abusive fathers, alcoholic fathers, etc. Life's so short so enjoy it and create great memories. My parents divorced the year I was born, and then, when I was ten, they have gone through a custody battle, and ever since my mom won the battle, daddy wanted nothing to do with me or my brothers anymore. He has changed his phone numbers and his email address, so that we wouldn't get in touch with him. So sad :(
