Many people experience absolute proof of God. the problem is that there are quite a number of gods. Any true Buddhist would say that his god spoke to him and he has seen absolute true proof of his god. you say the same. who is the liar? i have seen no proof either way. does that mean god doesnt love me? or that my mind isnt so weak to make up a security blanket of reason to the world when there is most likely no such thing?
this is sad. a five year old preaching on the street with the fire and brimstone sign. kids are being brainwashed before they can think for themselves; before they can decide what to believe. i consider that wrong. You shouldn't pump the bible into a kid that considers Jesus and santa as equally real beings.
the problem with the world today is your philosophy. The Bible is exactly what needs to be poured into our children and then maybe we would not have school shootings and all the violence. By the way he knows that Santa is not real and that not only that Jesus is real, He is Lord and Savior.
the point i'm making is that a child of that age is incapable of critical thinking and putting ideas in his heads that he is unable to question isn't right. If he wants to study the bible and pray that's fine but being brought there before he can think is considered brainwashing. the morality of the bible is irrelevant to the point im making
why would you teach anyone to question the truth? 2+2=4. That is the truth. not brainwashing. Jesus+You= Everlasting life.
why would you teach anyone to question the truth?
Now if there are people walking into that stadium thinking 2+2=7. The only right thing to do is to tell them the Truth. If you let them go on thinking that 2+2=7, that wouldn't be very nice of a student, or the boy, who is trying to free people of lies, would it?
i'd agree with you entirely if the matter was as simple as 2+2=4 but it's not. it's advocating a belief in a god that's impossible to prove if he exists or not until you die.slightly more complicated than 2+2. i'm not saying that he shouldnt believe that or that your god isn't real. i'm saying that its wrong to indoctrinate a child into a belief before he can decide for himself what to believe. so please don't talk like this kid is talking about first grade math and not the biggest question ever
Honestly it's only the biggest question ever to those who do not believe. Truly, to one who has experienced (not Christianity persea) but a relationship with God, there is no question. No doubt. From the outside looking in it may be a questionable light, looking through the keyhole, but once you open the door nothing but Truth pours out. Jesus made it that simple for us, on purpose. So everyone can understand the Purity and Wisdom that comes from His Word.
if Jesus wanted to make things simple then he would have chosen to reveal himself in a way that left some sort of evidence of his miracles. if he chose to make it easy then miracles like regerated limbs or messages in the sky (things that would be impossible without god) that occur in the modern day would be the right way to go about it. not appealing to people in a time when others were worshipping Zeus. and yes, it is the biggest question to ever be asked even if you think you have the answer.
Aww how cute
