I have never been elected to any political post. I did volunteer work for a politician who failed to win a Senate seat. I've gone to political rallies and debates when I was in college. I am no longer directly involved in politics. I am a cynic now. America was written out to be a democratic republic. It never was one. The US was from it's inception (and continues to be) a plutocratic oligarchy. That won't change no matter who is elected.

C'mon America, lets be us again. Even if the president is the leader of the country, we Americans should be leading our country ourselves. No big government! I prefer Newt Gingrich because he can SLAM Obama in debates and knows how to handle the presidental position (and not CONSTANTLY go on vacation or mix up his sports teams)! But ANY Republican president is better than Mr. Obama, who, under his leadership has watched unenployment raise and the deficit increase and STILL blames Mr. Bush.
