The trans box must have been millimetres from catastrophe when you crested the second rock, but guessing from what you are taking on that there is some serious sump and gearbox/trans case protection.
Put simply the leaf springs are now on top of the axles. And the front springs are about 15cm longer. Only easy to do if you have axel stands, heavy duty jacks and a long time.
Who's SIIa is this?? I want to know more about its suspension setup. I've got the same one and am interested in how the longer front springs and SOA is done...
that auld overhang is a curse on them 109s :P
