  • great song lots of integrity and real feeling

  • i came up with a theory that involves the book of genesis (fig leaves) buddha (sitting under the bodhi fig tree) jesus (many sayings about figs) ross horne's book (new health revolution) and science (figs are the most important source of food for fruit eating rainforest animals). i then experimented on the figs by eating mainly dried figs (same brand) for over 6 years now and found cycles which i related to the numbers in psgs 11/12 of the book of revelations. this theory has gone eveywhere.

  • so far i have had eliminations at days 504, 840, 1176, 1512, 1848, 2184, and expect my 7th at day 2520. today is day 2339. i have definitely found something. i am not lying. what i have discovered has gone around the world and many songs have been written about it...the foo fighters last 3 albums.."vertigo" by U2 (my first name is phil)...coldplay's last 2 albums. an elimination is a day when you experience strong flu-like symptoms and feel terrible. bad stuff is washed out of your body.

  • I've always loved this...especially Annalisse's sultry vocal.

Just a great, great pop song.

  • awaesome

  • Kids today don't have what we had in the 80's, Fri , sat or sun a pub or club with a live band that was a chart topper within walking distance

  • My band was support for The Numbers around 80 - 81 at a little pub on the South Coast. We were more interested in the PA system they were using. All ATC British stuff. Their sound was crystal clear and we ended up investing in a similar PA. Our sound guy was excellent and we were moderately successful on the South Coast. Our sound guy ended up being more successful as a Manager with Jands Australia.

We have 'The Numbers' to thank for much in the sound tech department.

    Plus they rocked!

  • Did they not play or come to Wiley Park Girls high that year?

  • In her time, Annalise, was a revolution. Amidst the bogan cretins from TV / RADIO on mainsream radio, and bands who had not time for smart women, it was rare to be female / smart /talented on radio in Australia in the early 1980s. It is ironic that we rememver her talent not the fat little aka bald midgets who used to dictate our taste?

  • I saw the Maybe Dolls in Brisbane many moons ago and Annalise was happy to have her picture taken with me. Had a bit of a crush on her at the time.

  • Now 1984 at The Flicks in Manly is coming back to me!!!

  • Great band live..... unfortunately Annalisse came off as completely up herself even to the point of making it very hard to take photos, was a pity were really good especially for a 3 piece

  • Ahh! those days when the live music scene in Sydney was worth something.

  • Thank you crankinhaus! Australia has produced some amazing bands and these guys( forgive me Annalise ) are so underrated. So rare...wow thanks

  • reminds me of sounds on sat morning...hosted by donnie sutherland..ahh good times

  • Thanks, I've been looking for this a long time.

    Great song
