@siddharthawasthi They are over 1000 dollars depending on the model. I have the RG1570 prestige which is a 1000 dollar guitar and it's outstanding, the neck is fabulous and the pickups, although not the best are pretty good, for 100 dollars you can get better pickups that suit your playing style.

Let me tell you, when you hold a prestige your hands you really feel the difference with a standard RG, even without playing, and when you play the extra cost makes a lot of sense.

I love my Prestige. It goes into the shop every year to get maintained. The only issue I had was the previous owner didn't take care of the electronics so they are now all coming out. However, if it came to it, I'd take a bullet for my prestige over my family any day.

I love my Prestige to pieces, but they should start putting in nicer pickups...it's the only thing about it I didn't like. I put in some DiMarzios, and I can't imagine a better guitar.

I have a prestige RG1570, and the difference with any other non prestige guitar is huge, even at the moment of just holding it and feeling the neck the difference is abismal. Prestige series are awesome.

I love my Prestige but I think I had bad luck with it because the tremolo was broken when I got it so I got it repaired and the other day I was changing strings and a heard a pop and I looked in the back and all 4 springs had come out and shot all over my room. Luckily, Musician's Friend has great customer service so they are sending me another one free!

I have a GRGR121EX and I'm surprised how good it is considering it's meant to be a budget guitar. No, it's not the best guitar on the planet, but it certainly does the job and considering it costed £180-ish pounds it's amazing value. I don't even like metal, and I find it perfectly decent for normal songs.

How could you forget to mention Steve Vai? or Paul Gilbert? Satch is a legend, this guy even has the same hair do, wonder if it affects his playing. I play a RG1550GXWB-WM Limited Edition Ibanez Prestige, never known a neck to be so thin and playable, any1 know if it's a superwizard??

I have an Ibanez SA120 at $400 and a Gibson SG classic at $1200 and I have to say the Ibanez is MUCH more versatile and way more comfortable than the SG which has slightly better pickup quality. For the price, Ibanez is the way to go! Try and avoid the GIO series though, they are pretty bad.

This guy is completely full of crap. Ibanez necks are so great? Oh yeah? Then, why did TWO (count them - TWO) Ibanez Prestiges (RGT320 and RGA) need fret leveling? They were setup like CRAP from the factory and buzzed like crazy with HIGH ACTION until frets were leveled by local luthier. And, screws don't strip? BULL. The screws that hold the string blocks in place on the trem ALWAYS strip. ONE STAR for being comlpetely dishonest.
