  • Lol @ your dog and the tennis ball at 3:55 !

  • Week 2 column 2 I'm so weak LOL

  • theres something different about how a guy and a girl does pushups. very differnent

  • Keep it up. Peace.

  • ide love to be able to do 100

im at 75 right now =D

  • I just started this program! Tomorrow I'll be starting week 4! As a guy, I have to say I feel puny after watching this haha

  • Awesome:)Thats good stuff..I havnt seen all your vids but I know how much practice these take...Wow Great form!

  • @AutumnWeimer thanks Autumn. I saw one of your push ups video too....did you finish the 100?

  • God, is that your shoulders making that popping noise?

  • @1984chupacabra hmm... when I tried to do perfect push ups with the equipment, my shoulders did make weird sound so I had to stop. I don't remember on this workout though but it might have been as I remembered the last set was quite painful.

  • @CuppaWorkout tucking your elbows in closer to your body might help relieve shoulder pain. Cocking your elbows out like that puts unnecessary stress on your shoulders.

  • @1984chupacabra I did make some adjustments in my form after this. On my week 5 exhaustion test video (it's in the video response), I think my arms were closer that this one. I think I will do 100 wide stance push ups first then will do the close stance push ups next.

  • @CuppaWorkout the reason is because your arms are too up high. your arms should be at chest-height. you're supposed to be pushing up with your arms parallel and at chest height. instead you have your arms past shoulder height almost at head height actually which takes all the pressure off from the chest and arms and releases most of that into your shoulders.

  • Nice smooth, deep, form, and your arms look great!! And you showed the kind of toughness at the end that separates the girls from the real WOMEN. Whats your current best non stop. And have you ever tried to see how long you can hold a "plank" position?

  • @strong1235 I just did 45 the other day but after 37, I had a few pauses (no more than 3 secs) to do 45 so not sure if that qualifies.

As far as plank, never tried it beyond 2 min. Maybe will test the limit in a few days. What will be a good time? 5 min?

  • Lol.. I know that feeling. I was gonna start this past week, but got thrown off with too many things going on. I'll start this week. Mon is gonna be P90x chest/back (push ups and pull ups) and Wed and Fri are gonna be 100 push up challenge. Some European guy gots a system that was more demanding in sets and reps. He was like "your program is shit"... I told him its not my program. But he has his own and wanted me to try it. Its in one of my 100 push up vids.

  • Wow.. you kicked ass on that one.

  • @driftkaztik thanks :). Last night, I tried to do W4 D3 C3 (29/33/29/29/40) with 2 min rest. I could only do 3 sets :(, I think I need to rest up a bit since I just did 55 bodyweight deadlift and 55 pull up jumps the night before. I will attempt again today, if I fail then I will repeat the whole week 4, starting from day 1 again (I probably need to eat better food lol, been eating junk and high sodium food lately and drink more water too).

  • @CuppaWorkout

Like I said, week 4 is the breaking/turnover point. My triceps were sore and arms were wobbly.. its why i decided to start over and maybe at week 4 colum 1 and 2, do it for a few more weeks. before trying to move on.

  • @driftkaztik have you resumed your push up challenge? I'm stuck at week 4 and too scared to move to week 5, it's quite brutal and I dread every attempt lol

  • bravo!

  • @swedo23 thanks :)

  • It's really great to see you doing 25 pushups or more time after time. With me, the numbers would decrease dramatically within these 25 minutes! Good luck with your next goals!

BTW, may I ask your height and weight? (if you don't feel offended ;-)

  • @michaelhkus no, no offense, I don't mind sharing my weight & height :P. why don't you guess first? I'm curious what I do look like in the video and if camera does add 10 lbs lol. What would be your guess?

  • @CuppaWorkout Oh that's tricky! Well, I think you are quite small, let's say 5'2. And then you weigh about... 115 lbs?

  • @michaelhkus Yes, very close. I'm 5'2, 123 lbs. People always guess I'm lighter but I think I am quite solid (hoping it's the muscle ha!) and I have butt/chest so those can be easily 10+ lbs. I will be very very skinny if I were 115 lbs. I think I'm happy with the way it is though, just in maintenance mode and work on the abs/back slightly more.

  • @CuppaWorkout Wow, I am surprised I guessed your height correctly! And about the 8 extra lbs: that must definitely be muscle! :-)

  • Cuppa you are doing great! Your form is excellent. Camera work was good too. Hope you're not discouraged, you'll get it soon! Do you have to complete these numbers before moving to the next one?

I can't believe they make you do so many in the last set ... brutal!

  • @nasaguy thanks :). Yes, I think I have to but I will try if I can do the Week 4 Day 3, if I fail miserably then I will repeat this one before moving on again.

I guess it will not get easier from here. After I complete week 4, I will do test again to see how many consecutive push up I can hit. Looking at it now, I think I should aim between 35 - 40 (fingers crossed).

Thanks for the encouragement nasaguy, appreciate it :).
