wow - dumb reference for Slate to publish - change the music in any movie and it could sound ridiculous. It would be like playing the Charleston in Apocalypse Now during the helicoptor scene. Music is a device used in film to create a desired effect - way to point out the obvious Slate. Braff does nothing that any other director doesn't do.
