  • do you get more power with higher lift?

  • what are the specs on the cam? and what kind of power are you making?

  • @zdeckich it is 224/228 duration; .600/.600 lift; on a 111 LSA.....It made 380 to the wheels with headers, CAI, and cat back.

  • are those the stock tips? i was wanting to go with 3'' but was tols they wouldnt fit

  • @zdeckich those are the tips that came with the SLP Loudmouth catback (not stock)

  • @zdeckich Thats the same thing I thought. Those tips look nothing at all like what I got with my LM1. Way to quiet for that setup as well.

  • @JamesSS69RS Those are the tips that came with my LM1. I bought the cat back in late 2004 so perhaps they changed since then. I am running cats so that could contribute to the "quietness" ;)

  • @mountaw Very well could be. I bought mine back in 2007 and I have heard they have a few different types of tips.

  • dude, love the rims i have a 2004 gto myself what rims are those and what size?

  • The rims are CCW SP500s....18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear.....do a search on 'complete custom wheel' for their website

  • thanks alot love those rims. did u have to roll ur fenders to make them fit? bty sweet cam sounds great

  • I did have to roll the fenders to get them to fit.

  • great car and wonderful sound just wish you could have revved the engine

  • thanks man....check out my other clip titled "idle clip and rev"

  • NICE freakin CCW's.... i want some for my CGM 05 gto but they cost a fat wad of cash

  • from this angle, that color and those rims are shit.

    just kidding.

i would do horrible things for this car.

  • Wiggers and rims! LOL

  • lemme get them wheels off you pimp

  • Sheeeiiiittttt mang lets rob that shit...

  • dam cuz-o! you cant go round stickin erbody up fool

  • hahaha....

  • Appreciate it.

  • that gto sounds mean...good lookin car bro

  • Thanks man!

  • Love the rims and nice sound

  • muchas gracias! :)

  • sweet CCW's :)

  • Thanks man!.....appreciate the props

  • Love the car man, rims are great too. I love the half park job to watch the paint good stuff :D

  • sick wheels man

  • nice rims

  • jee wiz you coulda at least got it in the lines.... just screwin with you. Sounds freakin beastley

  • Thanks man.............gotta avoid the door dings

  • what are the mesurements on those rims?

  • 18X10's on the rear, 18X8.5 on the front

  • how much HP is that beast making?

  • With all the stickers I've added under the hood, it's making close to 400 rwhp

  • hey did you install the headers yourself, if so did you have to remove the Steering column.

  • I installed the headers myself. You don't have to remove the steering column. You only need to drop the steering rack to separate the steering knuckle. It took me 5 hours with a helper

  • dude headers are easy to install on the gto Its WIDE open under there even with that huge ass motor. Shouldnt take 5 hours by your self and dont need to drop steering rack.

  • Dude...you know absolutely SQUAT about installing headers on a GTO.

  • and thats why im a certified mech and your not

  • Nope...I'm not a mechanic. I'm a just mechanical engineer that's installed numerous sets of headers on GTO's.

    P.S. It's "you're"...not "your"

  • word, i dont even think this guy has been under one. Its not hard, just time consuming.

  • you do need to unbolt the steering rack. to install the driver side header, some systems require removal of the floor brace as well, AND it also helps to remove the nut on the driver side motor mount and jack the motor up a couple inches. clearly, you do not know squat about installing headers on a gto.

  • Sounds hungry for a honda. :P

  • @mttviper it's a cavalier dammit ;)

  • Hey, nice car, sounds awesome! You said you drove to Houston to get the cam installed, I have questions. Do you live around the Houston area, if you don't mind me asking? I live in Beaumont. Also, where did you get the work done, I am looking for somewhere to take my Camaro ? Thanks.

  • Sorry, I meant to say I have two questions *

  • Thanks man. Yes I drove to Houston to have the cam installed, but I don't live in the area. The place that did the work was Horsepower Engineering (HPE). I think they are a sponsor of many of the ls1 websites. They did good work and fast. Dropped the car off in the morning and it was tuned and ready to go by that evening.

  • Sweet. Thanks for the reply

  • What are the specs on that cam? Sounds like a mid 220 duration.

  • Good guess! It's 224/228 duration, .600 lift, and 111 LSA from Flowtech Induction. For a small cam I made about 80 rwhp with cam only no heads.

  • A cammed 5.7L only made 80whp? You got ripped off on that tune! Stock LS1s make 300whp. What a shame... =-Þ

    Juss messin witcha! -stang2goat

  • hey man ,, nice car

but ,, could u tell me is there any diffrerent in gsaloine after u put the cam ,,, imean is it consume a lot of gasoline ,, if yes ,, is it noticeable or not ,,, thanx bro and good luck

  • Actually my highway MPG stayed about the same. I drove up to Houston to have my cam installed and the MPG was same on the way up as after the install.

  • Hey what kind of rims and tires are those and what size are they did u have to roll the fender lip

  • They are CCW SP500's (google Complete Custom Wheel)and Kuhmo Ecsta Supras. I'm running 18X8.5 in the front and 18X10 in the back. Yes, I did have to roll the fenders a bit, but nothing major. Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • hey man what kinda wheels and tires you got, i love em

  • no shit...been looking for something that catches my eye like those, you find out, let me know.

  • they are probly H.R.E or thurxtons
