And 8:39 correctly translated is "fight them until there is no more PERSECUTION( fitnah). Fitnah means to go after, to persue, not dissention. So there is no problem here as it says to fight against persecution. The verses I gave Quran 60:8, Quran 2:190 are the context of all verses in the Quran that deal with any conflicts.
