I was there that day - most of us thought it was weird that he showed up in a Michael Jackson outfit and was asked to change into normal street clothes. No he's not Staged. Every contestant who chose to sing, was told to prepare 2 songs, one for the main song, and second for the "Backup" song.. The judges had the rights to ask for another song, if they felt like it. Not only for this boy, but for other singer contestants. The judges might find other singers were already incredibly Fabulous, or incredibly had No talent, so they didn't ask for the second song.
