I tried the alcohol tip I did everything you said and once I conditioned it thats when my hair got sticky again, Idk why. I just continued with the process slowly combing my hair and blow drying it. Eventually I stopped and just let my hair air dry cause at that point to me it just seemed hopeless. My hair has a greasy type residue but I think your tip worked. I feel maybe if I had skipped the conditioning step my hair probably wouldn't feel so greasy like.

@MakeUpAddictedBarbie, yes, that's why it's HIGHLY recommended that you shampoo and condition afterwards. A deep conditioner would be great to do and a hot oil treatment would be better.

Just tried the alcohol technique on my daughter's hair and it worked great. Her hair was caked with glue, after a jacked up quick weave done by a so-called professional hair dresser. Will never go to that skank again. Just glad to have all the glue out of my child's head. Thanks!

THANK you so much for the advice, the alcohol really works miracles. I TRIED THE BOND REMOVER SHAMPOO first and it just made my hair "gummy" and even worse. I was kinda scared of the alcohol drying my hair bc of i know you don't supposed to use alcohol based things on your hair because it can dry your hair. So i put a leave in conditioner in my hair just in case afterwards, and my hair looks and feels FINE. THANKS AGAIN SO MUCH!

i use regular cooking oil and it works.

all you do is pour oil onto your track, wait a few minutes and take it out.
