  • Hmm..funny it says unaired cause i just saw the other clip and i thought "hmm, that's not the clip i remember from my youth, that one had live footager" then i found this and this IS the clip that i saw. However i am in canada, more precisely quebec so i didnt see this on MTV but Musiqueplus (the french canadian MuchMusic, itself the canadian MTV) so that would explain it but yeah, this is the clip they aired here. I'd never seen the other one.

  • Was at this video shoot. I still remember seeing Clint Poppie hanging around outside and thinking he was the coolest guy alive!!!

Any of the Neds Christmas gigs at Wolves Civic could feature in my top 5 gigs! And, the last one at the Wulfrun was Brilliant!!!

Thanks for sharing this with the world!

  • The Wedding Present. Brassneck.

  • poxa..mt bom!!!...fazia ins 10 anos q eu n via este video!!!

  • Ah yes. 4th Dec 1992, saw em at Liverpool Royal Court, the mosh pit was moshin and was so loud me ears were ringing 48 hrs later despite cotton wool in me ears throughout gig! Seriously affected my ability to perform on me first day at Kwik Save the next day!

  • Dear NCAA 06, thx for showing us one of the best songs ever made.

  • @TheXela1000 SO TRUE!

  • @TheXela1000 That whole soundtrack was great.

  • Such great sound, style, and hair.

  • Does anybody know if they are a scottish band or liverpool perhaps.

  • @kaliyuta They are from the West Midlands. Stourbridge I think.

  • great song i remember when i use to listen to it when i played ncaa o6 4 hours non stop

  • love you

  • Stourbridge is quite close - drinking with a bunch of legends - INVITE ME :) God I fell in love listening to this, not with you boys though! I have always loved your music!

  • i think the album version is better but still nice

  • dadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadada - BING! - dadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadada - BONG! - dadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadada - BABADONG!

  • @dugchase the original version is also on the pre-god fodder release "Bite", along with the original kill your television. it was the album that got me into Ned's, a very raw offering and not as polished as God fodder. tracks to give a whirl: "plug me in", "Aim" and "terminaly groovie"......special ;)

  • STU you fat bastard I will never forgive you for shoving in front of me at DFudley JBs and taking my moment away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Shit that brings back some memories. Happy days, great tunes :)

  • so glad it's not the album version with all the extra guitar bits.

  • ahh.. back when music was really cool

  • This is one of my all time favorite songs.

  • Great memories!!! saw them first supporting Jesus Jones in Brum. Great energy...great tee-shirts as well. I seem to remember seeing them at Keele Uni and crimping my hair for the occasion ...jesus. PWEI where great as well!

  • I looooved this song back in the day. Man, that brings back some memory's.

  • this was great. five stars.

  • The music that were made around this time were truly amazing! How I miss those days... I need to get me a recordplayer so I can listen to all my old vinyls again!

  • Great fricking tune...!!

  • dudley jbs, top night

  • saw them supporting the stuffies at Brixton Academy - 89? They blew the Stuffies off the stage.

  • Carter, Neds, James, Stone ROses, all from this time period :) I dont know why but its always a trip back down memory lane more then other types of song

  • AAAAH meant to hit the plus - THIS SHIT IS EPIC SORRY SWINDON BADGER - sry mate - someone give this guy 2 +. Ta

  • Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor Michigan that is :)

  • I still have the home video that this was on. I saw them open up for Jesus Jones at Hill Auditorium in '91. Everyone was there for Jesus Jones but me and my friends were there for Ned. One of my favorite bands from that time period.

  • i love dizx ncaa 2006

  • that soundtrack rocked

  • Y'all failed to watch the Chart Show. Pop. Rock. Indie. And movies'movies'movies too, just after, before it changed to movies blah and chart show stopped repeating at 1am on Sunday morning. What a terrible coincidence!

Gotta luv Brum and environs, back in the day we all luvd this live or on independent tv and on John Peel of course, of an occasion.

  • I wish I still owned this album...LOVE IT!!!

  • No the single just got to no 1 in the UK singles charts.

  • Oh stop taking things too literally.

  • Your comment reminded me of a kids show called why don't you.

The opening title told kids to switch off their television sets and go and do something else instead.

    So I did.

Never saw an episode of the show.

  • They showed this on a Indie programme in the UK in 1990 around the time Jesus Jones was out. It was one of them late night shows you were either drunk watching or setting the VCR to record it. Wonderful songs. Brings back the memories of earache from the sony walkman I had.

  • saw neds about 4 or 5 times in Dallas, great shows!! met them after cool down to earth guys, miss them.

  • I've still got a copy of Bite and God Fodder around somewhere!!

  • great memories! I didn't realise how quick this was! Played it at my first ever gig! (17 & floopy fringe!)

  • omg aint seen this vid for years, brings back some gr8 memories, the guy at the front with the stupid smile is me lol, thanx for postin this vid

  • 17 years on and that track still gets me going!

  • anyone know where i can get a cd with gray cell green

  • It's on the album God Fodder, as well as a bunch of singles collections, the newest and best of which is "Some Furtive Years: A Ned's Anthology."

  • ...2 bass players? Fooking ace grebbo!!

  • I saw these last time round at jb's. Got 2 brummies smashed on pot at the bar. Great gig.

  • Used to go out with a girl from Wolverhampton at this time. Hung around Dudley JB's, Web in Wolvo etc. Was snowy senes not shot outside J10 at Walsall? Some gig shots defo done at JB's - big bull skull above bar etc. Recently had Ingredients EP stolen, bummer. If I still lived in England I'd go and see Ned's just to jump around in the moshpit having heart attacks along with all the other 30 somethings. Great days them!

  • I saw Ned's play in Islington a couple of years ago and the mosh pit was full of 30 something accountants.

They're coming back to the Islington Academy on June the 14th - see you there, kids!

  • Where are they now?

  • I'm on this video ;)

The snowy parts where filmed outside Walsall JB's (I think, the floodlights certainly look it) and the road from there to Wolverhampton is also shown on the vhs. I guess the road part was filmed for the homecoming Wolverhampton Civic Hall show in 1990 and the snowy parts the day after because I went out in my mega city four shorts and neds t-shirt and got a stinking cold.

  • I love this - I remember I always used to come in on "Television" to early when I was singing along!!

  • I'm sure I must be old now for looking this up lol. Excellent video. The 'Indie' scence was so cool back then

  • Good song! There is another version of this song/ guitar parts are a little different!

  • There was more of the interview on the show too. Other bits from that show where an interview with Kurt + Chris from Nirvana, and something about RHCP and Soundgarden. The show was from '94 or '95, I can't for the life of me remember what it was called :/

  • the white room

  • I've definitely seen this on some TV show, this was my first encounter with the band!

  • Way KewL ... thx 4 post

  • Excellent! Cheers for posting. Brings back a lot of memories.

    :)

  • I apologise for the poor recompression here on youtube. Check the official NAD forums in about a week for torrents of AVIs of all the clips I've transferred from tape so far.
