@DjCombala4964, the OLD Gallardo was BEATEN by 430, that's why they made the lp560-4, then Ferrari made the 458, which beat the lp560-4. Lamborghini didn't build the Superleggera to beat the 458, its supposed to be a track car, they built if out of tradition, since the old Gallardo had a Superleggera version.

@masedama I've always loved American cars. I actually worship anything American, but I am totally a fanatic about American fast cars. My biggest dream is to move to America and buy a Corvette and drive the American highways. Here in Norway we have no freedom to really enjoy the highways. Plus, the roads in Norway are so small that we can't gain any speed. But in the USA there are terrific roads and terrific cars. I've never been to America, but when I get there, I'll never come back to Norway.

@670lamborghini uuuuum. FYI. The gallardo does not have the "typical" Lambo doors. They swing out just like every other car on the planet. Wanna make a hip hop video? Buy a Lambo! Wanna car that will force you to change your pants buy the Ferrari! I loved The Countach and adored the Diablo. Todays Lambo's just dont do it for me. The apparent use of Audi parts just doesnt make it feel as special as a supercar should. And the sillouette of every car looks identical to one another.
Well either way it was implying that they are too much conserved in what tech they have on lamborghini, considering the aerodynamics of the car has to offer. Though I gotta hand it to ferrari, their tech keeps improving like this, lamborghini's will become obsolete and pininfarina is gonna have their wine coolers.

@n9athan i hardly care if i was to drive it, either way people always use that as an excuse, for example the m3 vs corvette, the corvette will kill an m3 and costs less but the m3 is "more balanced" well that doesn't show around the track its heavier has a weaker engine and wobbles around, but im sure the ferrari is much more balanced then an m3 (weight and all) i just doubt its worth giving up speed for "balance"
lambo is still using primitive tech...they've kept the gallardo line running for almost 10 years! and a numerous amount of special editions have come out since the first release of the Gallardo, while ferrari keeps coming up with newer and newer cars and technology for their cars such as the new double clutch system in the 458 and also the new ECU as well as driver aids in the 458 i love both lamborghini and ferrari, but when it comes to which is a better car the 458 hands down in this situation

The only reason to why Lamborghini is able to still keep up in this "production" race is due to Audi's ownership because with this ownership Lamborghini is able to tech from Audi. Both sexy as hell cars but both failed the color test. I mean look at the 458 in yellow, it looks cheap. Red, black or grey etc would be good for the 458 and LimeGreen or Orange for the lamob. :)

I love the 458 Italia. And I really like the Gallardo LP560 and Superleggera but it would be a crime for me not to op for the 458 or the inevitable 458 Scuderia if I had the chance.
The Lambo is a carbon fiber wet dream ... and i LOVE to hear that V10. However the more practical car would be the Ferrari F458, but i usually favor the track beast so my favorite has to be the Gallardo LP570-4
@Ji99i3 Well actually the 458 has been around longer than the Superleggera. How is that not a fair test anyways? They both cost around the same, produce exactly the same power and torque, and weigh about the same.
@Ji99i3 thats what i thought about thr 458, at first...but since i have seen several (in varying colors) and love it...i have even seen 1 in orange, if you can believe...its one of those cars (which there are a lot, on my list, at least) where a picture/video just doesnt do a justice but seeing up close and personal
but also too, lamborghini doesnt produce as many new models as ferrari, although the gallardo is newly designed, newly upgraded so it does have new aspects about it...

@vipermoon64 all superleggera gallardo's are 4WD... has far has I know only the Valentino Balbone is RWD... actually all other production lambos since the the Diablo are 4WD
@vipermoon64 The only rear wheel drive Gallardo is the Balboni which R&T already did a feature on. In the magazine, there is a whole page devoted to the specs of the car where there is also a diagram that shows the drivetrain layout of each car. Also, all Gallardos with the exception of the Balboni.
Not very informative. I know you're trying to encourage us to buy the magazine, but there's just too much free information out there to want to do that. You'll need to get busy and create great videos and partner with advertisers. That's the way it's done now.

@670lamborghini oh i love people who take sides. number one: lamborghini is owned by audi and has been owned by numerous companies throughout the years. two: the gallardo is a V-10 not V-12. three: the problem with the 458 involved a glue in the engine lining that can be fixed in a couple hours. it is still an extremely well made car. four: Fiat owns 90% of the company stocks and is not involved in the car development at all. have a nice day hating a rival company for no legitimate reason.

@670lamborghini uuuuum. FYI. The gallardo does not have the "typical" Lambo doors. They swing out just like every other car on the planet. Wanna make a hip hop video? Buy a Lambo! Wanna car that will force you to change your pants buy the Ferrari! I loved The Countach and adored the Diablo. Todays Lambo's just dont do it for me. The apparent use of Audi parts just doesnt make it feel as special as a supercar should. And the sillouette of every car looks identical to one another.

Well either way it was implying that they are too much conserved in what tech they have on lamborghini, considering the aerodynamics of the car has to offer. Though I gotta hand it to ferrari, their tech keeps improving like this, lamborghini's will become obsolete and pininfarina is gonna have their wine coolers.

@n9athan i hardly care if i was to drive it, either way people always use that as an excuse, for example the m3 vs corvette, the corvette will kill an m3 and costs less but the m3 is "more balanced" well that doesn't show around the track its heavier has a weaker engine and wobbles around, but im sure the ferrari is much more balanced then an m3 (weight and all) i just doubt its worth giving up speed for "balance"

lambo is still using primitive tech...they've kept the gallardo line running for almost 10 years! and a numerous amount of special editions have come out since the first release of the Gallardo, while ferrari keeps coming up with newer and newer cars and technology for their cars such as the new double clutch system in the 458 and also the new ECU as well as driver aids in the 458 i love both lamborghini and ferrari, but when it comes to which is a better car the 458 hands down in this situation

@preludedriver226 maybe you need a reality check. Lamborghini is pretty far back in the game. I have had both lamborghini's and ferrari's, but ferrari being the more refined vehicle of the two. The only reason to why Lamborghini is able to still keep up in this "production" race is due to Audi's ownership because with this ownership Lamborghini is able to tech from Audi. Pbk1d is right the gallardo has been running for 10 years already and Ferrari keeps improving their line of vehicles

Using ‘primitive’ to describe a modern sports car is asinine to me. The Ferrari is superior in every way would be a more acceptable description. Do you jump @ every chance to point out that you're rich online? Or maybe just right? That one was a stretch. Awsome garage, coudln't stop drewling over a GTB @ local porsche.

Primitive technology is the correct term in this case look at the suspension technology employed by Lamborghini, look at the Audi motor employed by Lamborghini hell look at their flag ship model the Murcielago. The Murcielago is just a Re-vamped Diablo and has been running Diablo technology for over a decade on top to the Diablo's own production time.

Both sexy as hell cars but both failed the color test. I mean look at the 458 in yellow, it looks cheap. Red, black or grey etc would be good for the 458 and LimeGreen or Orange for the lamob. :)

The Lambo is a carbon fiber wet dream ... and i LOVE to hear that V10. However the more practical car would be the Ferrari F458, but i usually favor the track beast so my favorite has to be the Gallardo LP570-4

@Ji99i3 Well actually the 458 has been around longer than the Superleggera. How is that not a fair test anyways? They both cost around the same, produce exactly the same power and torque, and weigh about the same.

@Ji99i3 thats what i thought about thr 458, at first...but since i have seen several (in varying colors) and love it...i have even seen 1 in orange, if you can believe...its one of those cars (which there are a lot, on my list, at least) where a picture/video just doesnt do a justice but seeing up close and personal
but also too, lamborghini doesnt produce as many new models as ferrari, although the gallardo is newly designed, newly upgraded so it does have new aspects about it...

@vipermoon64 all superleggera gallardo's are 4WD... has far has I know only the Valentino Balbone is RWD... actually all other production lambos since the the Diablo are 4WD

@vipermoon64 The only rear wheel drive Gallardo is the Balboni which R&T already did a feature on. In the magazine, there is a whole page devoted to the specs of the car where there is also a diagram that shows the drivetrain layout of each car. Also, all Gallardos with the exception of the Balboni.

Not very informative. I know you're trying to encourage us to buy the magazine, but there's just too much free information out there to want to do that. You'll need to get busy and create great videos and partner with advertisers. That's the way it's done now.
