  • (scratchin' my head) Is that Scary Spice on the mic?

  • Scary spice would have been like 10 when this came out, its amazing what makeup can do if it is mel b

  • Diane Charlemane.

  • No, Toyota Jackson.

  • i am sure there was.

  • North5880, thier album in 87 only yielded this and Ill =Return..I thought 7, Something's Going On, & What Did I Do Wrong should have been singles and videos.

  • Was there a video for "Are You Receiving Me"?

  • I'm not sure about that one Azone01! I can recall that they did a lot of television around that period promoting that particular track. There are other TV appearances of them playing that song floating around the internet...

  • "Never Give Up On You" is a great track from the Children Of The Light lp! If it wasn't for youtube and you, I would never been able to appreciate 52nd Street like that!!

  • @EstelleCecil I only saw one video for this album in the states (I'll Return).

  • This 1987 music from 52nd Street is just as good as their 1986 album that had Tell Me How it Feels. I like their R&B funk sound on this song.

  • Diane Charlemagne lost alot of weight!

  • This looks like it was taped from the short-lived UK series "Solid Soul" 1987. I will never forget their performance. I love this song and it's sound effects!

  • Were 52nd Street on US Soul Train?

  • Not sure Azone01, but they made quite a few appearances on UK TV around this time.

  • I asked that a year ago and after checking, they never appeared on US Soul Train, but they have been on the UK Soul Train. In fact, I don't think they made any American apearances, except maybe Video Soul/Video LP...someone clue me in on that?

  • Yep!.........Solid Soul 1987 alright.

I was dancing in the audience! (LOL!)
