It's disappointing to see all of the hate comments on the Z. My friend owns an '06 Monte Carlo SS, and my HR 350z (the Z above looks like a DE, quite a bit slower) pulls a car length or two on it pretty easily, from a dig and from a roll. If he were RWD, instead of FWD (disappointing), I'm pretty sure he could get me from a dig. I run very low 13's on the 1/4 mile in my HR.
@IXScroungerXI The point is that they're both great cars. Comments like "wtf was that nissan thankin" and "send that shit back to japan" are unnecessary and kind of immature. No need to be one of those "AMERICAN MUSCLE, RAHRAHRAH!" people. Nor is there a need to be one of those "TUNERS, RAHRAHRAH!" people either. It's ridiculous. Btw, the Z isn't rice. It's not some Civic with a fart cannon.
@xerman2001 Did you have TCS on? It seemed like you got a slow jump from what I get with my '08. I can tell yours is a '06 or '07-'08 model, what trim?

I just bought the car 2 months ago. this was the first time at the track, very first run of the night.
