Part of me is amazed that Stevey Joy and Shaohannah are seen giggling, joking around, and squealing about the excitement of Thanksgiving, given the fact that their sister was killed so tragically just six months before. On the other hand, Mary Beth Chapman discusses this in her book, and according to the therapist who was working with the girls at the time, it was normal for them to be crying hysterically one minute and literally be happy and skipping the next. They are such an amazing family.

What a WONDERFUL family Steven has! I am glad to see how happy they are, even after the tragic death of young Maria. I know they are still healing over her unexpected passing, but watching this just makes me wish I would be able to talk to them too, about faith and hope and whatnot.
