More and more international notifications are coming forward as we approach the hearing date. A broad range of Afrikan and other grassroots community organisations will also be giving messages of solidarity to Mumia via the ‘Free Mumia Abu Jamal Campaign’ in the UK. Solidarity messages from around the world will also be read out.The evidence pointing to Mumia’s innocence is so persuasive that in addition to attending the protest,

Mumia was convicted of murder on the basis of evidence that Amnesty International seriously questioned. Whilst the protest is raging, Mumia will face his final hearing to decide whether he is executed or imprisoned for life. He has no other options - every other available legal avenue of appeal has been exhausted.

The UK gathering will form part of a growing worldwide movement and will coincide with protests in France, Germany, Holland, Jamaica, the US, Canada and even Iran.
