@alcoholsavedme mine apparently took 20 to 30 min. I left 15 min later. Rest well. Take it easy. About a week or two after I Was able to start lifting again. I think I lift more than ever now. Plus surgery kinda opened my eyes in a good way. Helped me realize how fragile life can be. Take UN the experience and use it to make you stronger.

Very impressive work! How large was that Umbilical Hernia? It looks quite massive in the video. Is it advisable to remove that excess fat using liposuction?
43 minutes ago I hope the drs are as knowledgable here in the US as you are in Greece? How is the patient doing at this time with that mesh inside? I cant wait to see the surgeon to ask my questions. I was just diagnosed last week with this type of hernia after pain, swelling, no appetite and other symptoms. Would be nice to have an update on more of your patients.

oh great, im not looking forward to this. Doc says its been coming on for a long time and finally tore through. Says its a defect from birth which finally wears thin. Surgery is the repair. Damn. What next!
Hernia is one of the common diseases for men and we need to have knowledge on how to repair if ever we have hernia. This video is related to the video from Symposier site wherein they present the ways to repair the disease.
Its up to your surgeon to choose the type of mesh that will be needed. The mesh used in my posted video, is non-absorbable. It is tolerated well by the body and gives an extra security since the patient was obese. Research and publications worldwide, show only minor advantages of the non-absorb. compaired to the absorb. mesh.
was that with a mesh? because I wanted the laser surgery but my doctor told me they can only do it if it was done with a mesh and I was afraid of the mesh because I've heard alot of negative stuff about the mesh, snd since mine was a small umbilical hernia I didnt really need the mesh but the cut still feels sore I got my surgery two days ago:/
you're right! the anaesthesia during this procedure was remarcable as well as with the rest of our operations. Dr Pistolas, who is performing the General Anaesthesia, is a well known and highly respected anaesthitist, and therefore a invaluable member of our team.!
Wow. So this guy's intestines were pushing through that hole? That sucker was huge! Is the muscle transverse abdominis?
