  • Great video Jerry! I just got my Keene folding rubber sluice today and i cant wait to use it. Have you ever used Goldhog matting? do you know Astroboucer in person, b'cuase he was talking about a Spartanburg panning club. Sounds good!

  • @powder384 Thanks Powder. You still building new cars? I haven't tried the Goldhog matting but have heard a lot about it. I know Astro. We have been prospecting together several times. Let us know how well you do with the new sluice.

  • This was a great video thanks for sharing your adventures! I would love to lend a hand if you guys need any help. I have some equipment that may be of some use in the classification process.

  • really nice area and gold nuggets

  • @NecipAksoy Thank you. We appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave a comment. More videos on the way soon.

  • Looks like fun, thumbs up on video.

  • @DigginDeepSouthLA Thanks for the watching and for the comment. It's hard work but fun none the less.

  • Great vid wish i could get out there with some old timers to show this rookie a thing or two! whats that machine called you used to go through your cons! thanks and good luck finding!

  • @bryce909 I assume you mean the fluid bed? It's a RCM Quicksand Concentrator. Gets rid of the lighter blonde sands really fast leaving only the gold and black sand concentrates. Works great! Thanks for watching.

  • hey looks good indy looking forward to seeing more videos in 2012 can ya send me a baggie of constraties wish our gold here in missouri look as good as yours does can ya send me some tips on doing glaciecer gold?

  • @bobinmissouri Thanks Bob. I suspect glacial gold is not different than any other except for maybe being very fine. No experience with it so I can't offer any good advise. Wish you the best with your prospecting though. I hope you find a honey hole that makes you rich! Thanks for the comment. More videos on the way as soon as we get over the shock of losing Danny.

  • @indyme2 wow my condolinces on you loss of a great friend and prospecting partner my prayers go out to you and his family when did this happen was expected or was it a actdent

  • Great video danny!

Your Number One gold panner/dredger/rock.mover Gage ! hope to see you down at the creek soon!

  • @GoldGetter67 Come on down, Gage. We can use a young, strong back to help us broken down old men.

  • You guys look like you are having a blast! Even in winter! :)

  • @flightstoaucklandanz Thanks. We are having fun. The scenery here is not as great as you have in Auckland though!

  • Hi Jerry, I watched this a few more times. This is a great video! I am so glad that you had the opportunity to make this video with Danny. I know you and others will greatly miss him. I know it is a sad time for you. He will always be in your memory. I am so sorry for your loss.....Roger

  • @iFishVideos Thanks Roger. It's a tough loss. He was also my scuba diving buddy. I am glad that I was able to capture him on some of these videos. Makes it easy to visit with him and remember some great times together.

  • At what sec on the video is Danny, God Bless Danny

  • @awaldegrave Danny is at 00:30, 01:53 and other times too. He was a great buddy.

  • @indyme2 Maybe you guys can melt some gold down and make something from the the gold to remember Danny by.

  • Great job, fun video. What is the angle on the sluice for the Keene highbanker? Thanks.

  • @jeffinphx517 Thank you. Danny usually starts with the standard 1 inch per foot but "reads" what is happening and adjusts the angle and or flow depending on what kind of material he is digging. It's really an art and comes with experience. Thanks for the comment!

  • what was the final "grand tally"?

  • @eddyanglin Don't know. As usual, we toss the black sand into 5 gallon buckets to go through another day. We have buckets everywhere. Time for a black sand party!

  • Hi my friend,

I find your method of fascinating search(research), it would seem that we also have some gold in the streams of Basse-Normandie in France.

Thank you for the sharing the friend and in the pleasure.

    Cordially.

  • @MrDreamlandboy Thank you for watching. Good luck with your treasure hunting.

  • looks like fun,

  • @birdtrap98 It's always fun when we find gold. Heck, it's fun if we don't find gold. Remember, it's about the adventure. LOL! Thanks for the comment and for watching.

  • @SamKelly201 Thanks Sam. I am allergic to cold. When it turns 60 degrees F, it's time to head to Florida. lol! Thanks for watching.

  • Wow ! nice set-up, sure looks like alot of fun...

  • @nebraskagoldhunter Thanks for watching. Lots of work and lots of fun. Gold fever make one crazy!

  • Good one, i hope to get out after jan 1, and do some looking. Travis thinks he going to beat me. Only if i let him.....

  • @THEBLACKWATERMASTER Ha Ha! Travis can't beat you Ron. He is too busy looking for a girlfriend. He probably already has one but is keeping her secret. We stay focused on treasure and Travis...girls. Nope, can't beat his Dad!

  • "cold" :D you dont even have snow :). Cant wait for the summer so I can get back to the gold country

  • @0BostonGeorge0 Snow? I saw that a time or two. Try not to make a habit of it though. LOL. 35 degrees is too cold for an old Florida boy like me. You gotta be tough to live in Boston! Thanks for watching and for commenting.

  • I like it !! ....Great video !

  • @gotwofast1 Thanks so much! More on the way if it ever stops raining.

  • Love the video. I wish I could be there.

  • @coptechgold Thanks coptechgold. I wish I could be there too. With all this rain, it may be a week before we can get in there again. LOL. Thanks for watching.

  • Yep, I had me a fine giggle. Looking forward to y'all's next episode.

  • @PhoenixCustomPrimiti Thank you for your comment. Glad you got a laugh out of it. We enjoyed doing the video. We will try not to let you down on the next one.

  • @indyme2 Trust me! You didn't disappoint me with this one.I am seriously looking forward to seeing how that all worked out and finding out what y'all are going to be doing if this weather ever figures out what it wants to do.

  • looks like you guys are having a good time.

  • @Mrcoynz Thanks Mrcoynz. It's always fun hacking on those two. Finding gold makes for lighter spirits too! We appreciate your comment and thank you for watching.

  • Ha! Great video Buddy! I thought for awhile you might have been taking lessons from the Hoffman's off the Gold Rush Show! Ha! Keep em coming! I know a good thing when I see it!.....iFish

  • @iFishVideos Ha! we felt like the Hoffman's for a while with the bad foot valve, flat tire, smoking engine, leaking hoses, etc. Finally got it straight though. It's never easy but it's always fun. Thanks for watching, Roger.

  • 32 degrees ! I am surprised you didn't Wuss out ! It was 82 here, yesterday, & the Capt. was swimming " bareback " with the Manatees. Tell Nugget the story about Donkey Salami & the wetsuit !!

  • @CaptEsteban I did wuss out after about half a day. Don't like cold! NEVER tell Nugget about the donkey salami. He is bad enough just eating chile beans and after a bite of donkey, he couldn't hang enough weights on his belt to keep him down. No, No, No, on the donkey salami. LOL.

  • Hey indy real good first episode of your new prospecting show.. I enjoyed it, looks like you all had a real good time and found some nice color for only a few hours of work...

One of these days I am going to have too make it down to the Carolina's and find some of that southern gold... Looking forward to your next episode.

  • @tdz61 Come on down, Ed. We will show you around. Thanks for watching and for commenting. Looking forward to your next video.

  • Thanks for the video. Looks like you all have more fun looking for gold than finding it lol

    dave

  • @dhiott1 Thanks Dave. Nugget and Danny are a couple of clowns when they are off camera. I finally was able to capture some of that personality on film. I guess they are getting less camera shy. Now, if I could only get them to share some of that gold! LOL,

  • You guys seem to have so much fun, even when things don't go as planned,,great video, I love watching them

  • @01Woof Thank you for watching. We don't always get a lot of gold but we do enjoy hacking on each other. You should see Danny rattling Nuggets cage. That's the real comedy people don't see. Good boys...all.

  • Great video guys, havin fun and lots of laughs,,,KUDOS all around the house..

  • Great video! That Gold Field is a great unit! Built to last several lifetimes.

  • @TheSilverFiend I agree. The Gold Field is built tough and it does a great job of capturing the gold. Thank you for watching and for the comment.

  • Great video Indy, is it just me, or does Danny look like James Harness on Gold Rush Alaska? :)

    Sam

  • @pdcats Ha Ha! That's funny, Sam. I tell him the same thing all the time. Just had to rag him that day and call him Hoffman because he having so much trouble with his equipment. Thanks for the comment.

  • @SuperJammygit Thank you, Sir. We appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment!

    Skip

  • @MeGoldSeeker Thanks Skip. Those Gold Rush guys don't have anything on us, LOL! We appreciate you watching and making a comment.

  • @Kyuto00009 Thanks Astro. How do you like that fluid bed concentrator? That's the one I want to show you. It's the same concept as the one you are making only not as well engineered as yours.

  • @indyme2 I still havent had a chance to test it yet since the changes, I hope after christmas I will be able to get out some.

  • @Kyuto00009 Me too, Kyuto. Tena hurt her ankle and I am stuck here playing nurse. Go get some gold. I know that equipment you made is going to work well.

  • @indyme2 Tell Tina I hope she feels better soon, and that I got some bottles for her too.

  • Yay! I am glad I got up early this morning. Great job guys! Looking forward to the whole run! Cheers!
