I know this video is old, but just wondering if you did the 3 year program? I saw they range from 1 month to 3 years! I think 1 month would be a tease really.. did you notice your grasp of the language improving each year?
I'm thinking about doing this after I graduate, attending language school in Japan and working part time. I would have never known it's possible if I hadn't seen your videos, so thanks. :)

They really should use you as like an advertising person. These vids about what it's like at NILS, it would garner them a lot of attention and some potential students.

It's like art class, but there's actually a "right" and "wrong" way to do it, and even if you do write it correctly, the teacher comes along with her paintbrush and draws a big happy face and over your masterpiece. :'(
There's an American in first year, he came in April. I think there was one in the year ahead of me too, but I can't confirm if she was "western" or if she just had white skin... 不思議.
