  • couldnt help it :(

  • i love that you use BIG needles and yarn....GREAT VIDEOS!! and i LOVE your name...WOOL AND THE GANG!!

  • This is a helpful video, and the background music has me bopping my head and tapping my feet. ;)

  • Generally the first stitch is slipped to create a chain look on the edge of the work otherwise you get that little bump/knot. A better chain look edge though you slip the first stitch of every row as if to knit then purl the last stitch of every row.

  • dont know anything about it but my mum who is 88 years old ,came round xmas eve with her balls of wool, and many needles,"been doin it since i was 7 "she said, made a xmas cardigan whilst watching eastenders,an orgy of needles and wool, the result=PERFECTION

  • Um, I understand the twisting of the stitches inbetween the blocks, but why are we slipping the first stitch of the row?

  • super helpful!

  • Very clear, it's a shame that you twisted at least 3 stitches on the first row (if you randomly knit into the back of a stitch every so often, you won't have even tension and twisted stitches can be more difficult to knit into)

Good though, nice and slow, and well explained.

  • I noticed that too, and I was going to ask if that was intentional for the first row. I thought maybe it locked in the first color change sections a little tighter? She does it at the stitches just before the color change. I've never done intarsia before so I'm truly just guessing.

  • OH!! Finally a video I can follow. Thanks so much for the brilliant demo!!!

  • omg! this is such a helpful video, thank you so much for uploading!
