This trailer is brilliant!!! It should be the official for the movie. Perfectly edited. The Smiths (and the Cure) is actually a band that I would imagine a guy like Harold would listens to, so it was perfect for the clip. Nice Job!

I love this movie, but it really doesnt need the romance. I watched this movie in a very hard time of my life, i knew exactly how harold was feeling... and what maude gave him was great, she taught him that life is beautiful. but... them getting together doesnt work. in real life, and his suicidal depression, he would have thought of her as a surrogate mother.

As in Life ... Harold and Maude is either a movie that speaks to you ... or does not.

++ Viewing Harold and Maude, in a packed Boston audience, with Ruth Gordon making a personal appearance in 1975 ... is a memory I will cherish for a lifetime.

** Kissing scene was removed as it was believed to be "over the top."

** Fu!# War ... not in film due to PG rating. PG-13 came around in 1980's.

** Seeing film "alone" and on a DVD, without the energy of an audience, will make a difference.

Thank you for this video - it rocks. Thank you all who loved it and the film. Harold and Maude changed my life when I saw it in Spring 1973-4. No matter. . . I love it to this day and have the pleasure of sharing it and it's wisdom with my three beautiful daughters 17,15,10 in the 21st century. Ruth Gordon entranced me here and she was a fox and actress for many years on stage and screen before. Peace
