  • good i like

  • hermoso!!!!

es una muiy buena interpretacion de esta magnifica obra de chopin!

en este video demuestras que no hay necesidad de tocarla rtan rapido!

lo que importa es que sea claro el sonido!!!

    felicitaciones!

  • How do you remove comments made by fucked up smart-ass bimbos who can't spell CAT for sure? Go to die yall.

  • @MATHSMASTA Maybe she can't spell cat, but you seem to have a problem with simple phrases like 'go die', and simple punctuation like for instance, the apostrophe.

  • Nice attempt though I'm not a big fan of the tempo and interpretation. I've never heard this piece played without at least a few mistakes (even by the masters), and I've certainly never played it myself without a good share of mistakes, so I don't focus on that so much, but the mistakes at 5:33 was just strange since it wasn't at a difficult passage. The end was a little awkward as well with the pauses. But her scales are fast and accurate, and she certainly looks great playing!

  • poor... Blechacz is better

  • I respectfully disagree. This is a public performance. No day and a half splicing replays. Artur Rubenstein admitted: " When I play a concerto I miss enough notes to compose a prelude." Public performance. Listen. I learned this brute as a teenager too, but as an adult I had to abandon it. Too tough. But I learned the notes. Enjoy listening for mistakes ? Listen carefully to some of the masters. But don't try it if you don't know the notes. Then you'll give this kid mugs for guts !

  • not my kind of interpretation but... interesting ideas.

  • I respect ANYONE who can play this piece. This is an extremely difficult song to play. I learned to play this song back in high school, and I wish I could come close to playing this as good as her.

  • Comment removed

  • That song is easy, learnt that back then during the Cold War.

  • this is long as hell

  • The Pianist is so beautiful - a little woman by the great black grand piano...

  • You know what? To everyone who is being negative about this, I'm pretty sure non of you have played it. There is so much work that goes into such a marvelous piece, and if she made ONE mistake, then who cares? She played the rest of the piece wonderfully. If any of you have played it, then please, by all means put a video up and prove me wrong

  • @cc75frenchygirl I've played it :) I think why this recital is attracting negative comments is because it has a lot more than one mistake. I mean apart from the obvious technical stumble, it lacks the level rhythm, tempo and fortitude which are main ingredients to this piece. It's also called The Polonaise Heroique or Military Polonaise or sometimes refered to as the Drum Polonaise, but here it is being played as if it's a lullaby or a nocturne. But these purists do get a bit over indignant lol

  • thank you for a while a true emotion.....great performance....

  • Great great BRAVOOOOOOOOOOO !!!

  • Sobbing, prisoner and tacky: it needs a vigorouse shove and a lot of liberating fantasy.

  • i like this piece played slowly, but this is to slow for me. but good job

  • @jazzyman1 Perfectly legitimate opinion, I suppose. But human emotions are the same today as they were 200 or 300 years ago - we still feel love, hate, anger, sadness - emotions which are in these pieces of music. The goal for a classical musician is to take a composer's work and interpret it. Notes on a page is not music. That is a score which someoen else has written. Music is what happens when a performer learns that music and brings it to life through their own emotions.

  • @jazzyman1 I just to think the same, but when you hear someone playing it with feeling you know its art, because they show themselves in it...

  • @jazzyman1 fukking fail classic music is the strongest form of art there is

think about the people who made the music

they had a certain feeling and purpose when they wrote it

    just understand that much

    think about it

    beethovens 5th

everyone knows it as someone in terror

moonlight sonata is known for its sadness and serenity

    hundreds of years ago yes

but still people play these things and listen to them everyday

  • Chopin: Polonaise No.6 in A flat, Op.53 -"Heroic"

  • It wasn't nearly as bad as some people make it seem, but it does need work. Try learning Chopin's études, many of them help improve technical aspects which are found in the Polonaise,

  • terribly

  • Passionate play and powerful, though technique is not so high.

  • idk why so many pianists... play the beginning notes... so separately... or weirdly slowly... it bothers me coz it doesn't sound good that way. esp this woman... she really doesn't play this piece well. she should probably stick with beethoven sonatas.

  • Very nice. I've been working on this one on & off for several months. Its a tough piece. You play it beautifully ! Don't listen to the cowards here who are being unfairly critical. Most of them have never played anything beyond chopsticks much less had the courage to perform it in front of an audience.

  • you need to have a polish soul to play this ...

  • Oh yeah? You'd do well to show a bit of soul when you post.

  • Lovely performance! It's sad to see so many ignorant comments from here from people who are probably only jealous because they couldn't do nearly as well themselves. bravo!

  • she plays it too slow ...

Blechacz played it much better than her.

    Poor performance

  • @krapus1 Well Blechacz won the 2005 competition. Don't go around comparing people like that.

  • Really nice. I like your performance. You're on the best way to me a master.

    Cheers,

  • why do some people have to use vulgar language in their comments? sounds out of place with Chopin and others.

    this is interesting performance.

  • still needs alot of work - tempo isnt even, somthing Chopin insisted on. too much rubato in parts.

  • mudxdy not sharp distinction of nogtes especially in runs of notes

  • Personnel :

    Concert pour Cécylia.

  • @muhdizgleet post this and prove, simple thing. I know this is not the most amazing performance bu this is really hard. So coward we re waiting for your upload

  • Jak to jest że Azjatki są takie piękne i tak pięknie grają Chopina ?!!!!!

  • bo maja ciasne cipki

  • A o to ma do rzeczy?

  • @AgresorPL wstyd mi za takie komentarze jak Twoj

  • Azjaci za co tylko sie zabiora to robia to wspaniale..

  • not exelent performance but still very nice; good job, keep playing :)

  • WOW!!! sugoiiiiiii :3

  • increible!!!

    wowow!!!!

  • i think u just read it.

  • geomon9378 and you made a mistake for pointing that out, MORON! She's HUMAN, you idiot! She's not a fucking ROBOT, like YOU!

  • no, she really did make a mistake, some humans can do it without being "fucking robots"

  • @goemon9378 Yes, let's remember we're ALL human. And treat each other with a bit of respect. I just appreciate the hard work that went into learning this and for posting the video so we can all enjoy it.

  • Exelente!!!!!!!!

  • hahaha...youtube comments cracks me up. I swear, u see the dumbest comments by dumb fuckers.

  • totally. i read the comments, and im thinking, come on, lets see any of you do better. even if you can, she did PRETTY DAMN GOOD. JUST SHUT UP.

  • Heroic is great but not the performer

  • I love this piece and I think you did ok, but I honestly believe you could patch up a few areas... Have fun and continue to play your heart out.

  • Congratulations, your performance in really professional. I admire your work.

  • I'm still stuck on Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu XP

  • I'm Polish and I did cry! So great, I'm lost for words. Thank you!!!!

  • if i were able to play like her id be pleased...

  • Not bad, of course it isn't a masterpiece, but it's... more or less correct.

  • I'm not happy with this performance (considering it's international contest). We are used to much better performances being made by Japanese pianists. There are some minor technical problems I hear, but most important are some flaws with the interpretation. Still Japanese pianists have some inexplicable talent for interpretation of Chopin's music, comparable to that of Polish pianists (no one can explain it AFAIK, some say there's some similarity of Polish and Japanese romanticism/soul/sadness).

  • Fair enough,.. :O)

  • this is good

but you should listen to rafal's interpretation

  • i love the piece being played.congratulations! u r such a great pianist.

  • hey dont be so mean, the reason why musicians of the past made these is for people to appreciate, learn and practice in ways they want, play it slow, fast, as long as the notes were met, i dont see any reasons to be aggrevated-- music is not to debate or argue into, its loved and shared

  • うまく弾いたよね!ファイブスターズにするよ!信じられないくらいきれい、この曲は!

  • wow that wasnt a nice remark can you play this? nope? cool. Soul....hahaha theres no such thing.

  • lol nice comeback haha. i have to gree with u, it takes alot of time and effort to learn a difficult song, unless ur a genius, but in this case there was alot of soul in this showcase she put, its rude rubbish dust on that work like if it wasnt nothing

  • ale dales plame...

    gratuluje intelektu!

  • you're being racist...

  • This person is no more a racist than any intelligent music critic. She is afterall -kind of violent in her playing and she does hit some 'klinkers' towards the end - oh well!

Now - if she wants to take on the "Revolutionary" thing - that may work.

    Danke,

    A life-long Chopin fan!

  • i think that your dad too.People like you can make only shit productions, and shit art for 1$/24h ;D. What do you know about Europa, our coulture, and history, about Poland. You can see only music, but without his inspiration so fuck you, and make your syntetic music in your countrys without legends like chopin! Peace

  • I'm not from Poland but I think that this piece by Chopin is inspirational. It represents freedom and civilisation for all. Civilisation is a concept that would seem to my eyes, to be foreign to you.

  • me too...

i especially admire Chopin's Nocturne in C# minor XD

i'm not from Poland but i really BELIEVE Chopin's MASTERPIECES are INCREDIBLE!!!!

  • The music is damn good no matter what it's called or where it's from you ass

  • This is not too bad. It was played very slowly, though some chords have been hit rather disjointedly and I have detected a few mistakes, some blatant ones near the ending.

  • I apprec8 the the piece being played slowly. It's easier to follow the score.

  • Great song...btw...Chinese Communist Party: End the 10 year persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

  • What does the persecution of Falung Gong practitioners or the CCP have anything to do with this video?

  • do you have an email address because I want to say BRAVO BRAVO to you

  • bardzo dobrze, very nice, keep up the good work.

  • a little bit slow.Anway thanks for posting.

  • this is one of my favorite interpretations of this piece, very nice :)

  • Nice!

    Thanks!

  • Check out Rafal Blechacz`s Polonaise!!

  • Wonderful performance! This is my all time favorite piece of piano music. Thanks very much.

  • Is true that Chopin is what inspired Neilgyn Young?

  • i listen to this song so many times but i never tired of it

    its so cool...

  • I must say that I like your version of polonaise much more than Rubinstein's version.

  • Yeah, sorry...so sorry.

  • sorry.. not a fan of this performance!

  • IM LOVE THIS THEME

  • 私はこの曲をプレイできたらいいのだが

  • :) pięknie

  • I'm really impressed. I love this one, one of my favourites.

  • 上手です!

    こんな風に滑らかに指が動くなんて羨ましいです!

  • Very very nice. I really love this.

  • Great performance, never heard it played slower than usual, but makes you wonder if Chopin really meant it to be played like that since it sounds sweeter.

  • asombroso linda niña aunque un poco dramatica la cancion

  • absolutely beautiful, thank you for posting!!

  • bardzo dobrze ale.. hyba nikt nie umie jak rafal!

  • stop putting pepole down

  • How righteous of you. Where would classical music be in this world without your audacity. Don't let the man hold you down.

  • another one of those retarded youtube dwellers.... sigh

have a frickin clue what youre talking about first

wat the fuk do you know about "standard of quality of classical music"

  • I'm sorry but I can't find on the map the name of the country from which you claim to hail from

  • Very nice performance.

  • if you can play this song, you're considered quite good. Although you may not be the best like those world class pianist

  • ojoj... bez sensu... Jednak Pan Rafał to dużo lepiej zagrał ;D

  • Popieram:) Ale ten występ również jest na wysokim poziomie:)

  • Great8712akpc49421

  • she's too soft

  • jajajaja, lo mejor dioooossss!

  • well done.....

  • Polonaise As-Dur op 53 interpretation of Rafał Blechacz i thing was too much better

  • i agree.if she was so good like him she would have taken part in the chopin competition.but she isn't good.she can try harder

  • wow can you play this ?

  • I'm play this & tasting

  • le scale sono ben eseguite...

  • good interpretation of this wondefrul Polish composer !

  • itspro you jew

  • okay, don't listen to some of the people here. I think you did a great job!! and who cares if there are mistakes? Everyone makes them! It still sounded amazing! And i love your dress! Haha. Last part of my comment was random..

  • Great! Just like Chopin. He was from Poland. I'm too.

  • i like what she does with her grace notes

  • this is an amazing piece

  • extraordinadinaria!!!

  • Buenisima Interpretación, aunque un pokito golpeada.

  • うまいですね~っ!

    素晴らしいです★

  • Well, it's a pity that she misses the meaning of the melodious, introvertious f-minor-part before the last reprise. And missing that means missing the mournful tone which clings to this piece even in the brilliant parts.

It's not meant to make you happy...

  • brava

  • きです! とても素晴らしくされます。

  • ベリーナイス!

  • Totally agree with Retrogamer~...There's always a point of self-expression but when you abuse of it doesn't work. Btw, in the downgrading scale you failed. Check it out.

  • Great, but can you respect the tempo a bit better? That kind of bothered me, especially at the end. I mean there's room in Chopin for rubato, but it's important to respect the overall tempo.

  • 全く驚きです! とても素晴らしくされます。

  • Talented lady, pray tell me, have you finished all your diplomas?Taking a degree in music?

  • A bit slow, but absolutely beautiful!

  • can you teach me?? godd this is soo good
