No personal slight on this singer, it's just that ~to me~ a girl this young and fresh-faced isn't a credible source of the life-experiences that lead to THIS song being written - was KOL's version missing punch, grit and emotion? Sorry, not the song for you, to my ears. I think you need to be about twice your age to give this ROCK song a good belt, and a piano, unless played very aggressively, isn't going to cut it. This IS a 3-chord guitar-anthem, and while I have no doubt that you can play a delicate ballad beautifully, you need some grit and sweat for this song, some gravel in the throat - it's a song by the life-jaded, not a fresh young teen, fine voice though she does have.
