wait who was Archer? Some sites says he was Shirou... but that dosent make sense...

Ok, that thing is indeed a little bit complicated. So there are two Archers (keep in mind that this is only a warior class, can be more than one). One is the blondie-Gilgamesh (he was also in the 4th Holy Grail War (maybe in previous wars as well, dunno) but it's in Fate Zero if you're interested). The other one is Archer-Archer and from games (and movie Unlimited Blade Works) we know that he's Shirou.Blame other dimensions, timegaps or whatever. Personally I don't like that idea.

@DarkPriestessDemon Not at all, basically, the Master serves as an anchor for the Heroic Spirits presence in the timeline, if the Master dies, that anchor is lost, and if not re-connected with a new Master, they disperse from The World negating the reality of their existence outside their timeline. The Servants themselves have no effect on their Master, their death will do nothing to a Master other than remove the Command Seal from their body.

@I38 Tragic hero - that's exactly what came to my mind too. His whole story did remind me sort of that mythology styled kind of hero (and his death of course).

@AlexNOSAM Guess that's why he's considered Shirou's ideal come true, to surpass the Gods themselves and become just like the heroes of legend. Ironic due to the fact that most heroes had to sacrifice everything to be what they are.

@Antara91 If you played the novel Archer didnt actually die to Berserker that time, but simply dispersed to conserve energy, he saves Rin and Shirou near the end of the novel before his energy completely empties and he vanishes

@Xauvyang the blonde guy and the white hair(red shirt) guy are both archer. Blondie(gilgamesh) is the archer from 4th holy grail war, white hair(hero emiya) is the archer from 5th holy grail war.

Archer was kick ass and if they added parts where he was remembering his time with RIn and what kinda person he knew her as it woulda made the part where he went down a lot more sad....I'll admit it might have made me cry XD great job on adding in the memories
