Hi there, I got a pony that drives a cart and I have a harness like your but I don't know how to use it...could you make a video of you putting on the harness and all the steps so I could see it? Just wondering :) Thanks!
This was what I was looking for! thank you. It's been a while since I have driven a cart and hooked up a harness so I wanted to double check. I'll keep this in my favs.
Okay, I do have question... I've seen videos where the strap is permanently warped to the shaft, and they just clip it on to the britchen ring......an okay idea ?
Yes, that's fine too. That's more usually used when you have one horse and one cart and the number of wraps in always the same. You need to make sure that you're using a VERY strong clip though. A lot of people use marine quality clips. You'd have to take the wrap strap off of the ring on the harness and put it on the clip and then clip the clip onto the harness and do the wraps. When you're done, you just unclip. It's used for safety with new horses or in combined driving. it's a quick release.
